A few items were missed on our order and like many small kids two did not want any sauces, pickles or tomato, just the meat and bread. That annoyed the clerk and she rolled her eyes at the kids. They asked later what thy did wrong which was nothing, order it however you like it. But they got that wrong so I'm trying to watch our table and the grandkids, waiting at the counter to get what we ordered while they openly grumbled about it. One said just wipe it all off. Well you really can't do that and if you know picky eaters any remains of the sauces on the bread and those kids might throw a fit. Thankfully I have great grandkids and they were very patient. As I'm asking the kids to be careful and not spill anything I do just that and dump a large drink across our table! Duh! We quickly scramble to grab as many napkins as I can and clean up our own mess. The three teens working the counter (with no customers to care for) just watched us, it was a big mess, and it was my fault. But they did not offer so much as a paper towel, so we went through an entire container of napkins trying our best to clean it up while laughing at ourselves. Our food was fine and and the kids were happy and we left the place cleaner than we started but getting attitude several times from the staff was off-putting and spoiled the lunch for the kids who kept asking why they were acting like that. Some people just have bad manners and are poorly taught how to treat people, these people should not be in service jobs facing the public.

The spicy chicken was what I would classify as good not great. It had decent flavour in the breading and sauce but was lacking that zing of competitors such as Wendy's or Popeye's. The onion rings were decent enough as well. The service was fine for what it was. I'd say their breakfast and burgers are better than the chicken sandwiches in my opinion but this was a more than passable lunch.

Daniel is an amazing boxing coach as well an amazing mentor for anyone younger or older. He takes personal investment in your training, your goals and your fitness and this is something I value a lot. I greatly miss my days here and it's very disappointing I moved to where I can't attend the gym several times a week like I used too. As well the culture Daniel has built at his gym is one of a kind and is truly a family. Everyone is there to help you and to push you to be your best because everyone sees the potential in everyone. The self discipline I was taught has truly shaped me into the young man I am today, I know for a fact I wouldn't be the same person without boxing and especially without DMC Boxing Academy. Not to mention they keep their gym in extremely good shape with new equipment and everyone is taught to clean up after themselves and sanitize everything that you use. The gym was always clean and never smelled. I want to share a core memory of mine here which was getting into the ring, then throwing up (I made it to the toilet), and then getting right back in the ring and going at it again. Now this wasn't forced, but it's what I wanted, and that takes heart & self discipline, which again I wouldn't of had without this gym. Oh, and my locker (as well as many others) have already been broken into. This facility was acquired by iStorage ( https://www.istorage.com/storage/ohio/storage-units-loveland/4100-US-Route-22-W-853 ) in December of 2021. I started my rental at the end of November 2021. They did not handle the transition of the account well. I had to come into the front office during work hours to straighten out the account problems. 15+ lockers were broken into on the weekend of 5 Feb 2022. Mine was one of them. Numerous maintenance issues. Security doors not closing properly, debris remining in the halls and parking bays for months. Both elevators were out of service on 28 Feb 2022. There are no stairs to get to the second level, therefore my locker was inaccessible on Monday and I had to make alternate arrangements to store my vehicle load of stuff until they get their facility repaired. Obviously looking for another facility in the area. I suggest you move on to the next review and skip this facility. 2022 FEB

In the classes, we always start with a warm up. Then a discussion of the intent of the session. Usually there a a break to regroup on what the professor is observing, and discussion of points of emphasis. I also am impressed with all my training partners, especially higher belts i have worked with, having open discussions of what is working, effective and not. Of course the professors are always available for questions and clarification. On a personal note, I am very active 60 year old. I found my core strength is improving and other areas in need of strength and conditioning are exposed for me to work on. I try go get to classes 15-30 minutes early just to loosen up.
