Your app is very glitchy! Trying to make a payment but the screen freezes! Also, I never did find out about my storage unit that got robbed a month after I was there..I had asked a specific question about a certain vehicle to see on camera if it was on the property the day/night I got robbed & a month later was told they had been too busy to look at the footage & still don t know the answer 5 months later ! And lastly , wanted to warn everyone looking for storage , I wouldn't rent here , bc they get you in on a special w 1 month free, & after 3 months, they will more than double your monthly payment! I went from $96/month & 4th month, it jumped to $220/mo! THEY WILL GOUGE YOU...NO TRANSPARENCY! When I asked Annie how much would it go up so I would know whether or not I wanted to rent there, she said I dont know ...whatever the market rate is! If I had known it would jump up to that price, I would have made different arrangements, but now I'm stuck & they know it...that's why they do it! Because they know they can! Pretty scanky way to do business !! It also says "check our low rates" DON'T BELIEVE THEM"! I should have known nothing is for free when they entice you to rent w them by giving you a free month..there would be a catch somewhere & boy there was! I drove all the way to THIS location on W Sahara from a different location to get the promotional price per the employee at the one I originally stopped at. But they failed to tell me that in order to get that price, you have to pay 4 months in advance! Then they will raise your rates to almost double what you were paying! If you read other reviews, this is a standard practice here. At 4-5 month mark your rates will go up exponentially! What a pain to have to get a truck to move to a reasonably priced storage facility that doesn't gouge their customers. And like a previous review stated, they don't care one bit when you call to complain. Just told me, well if you wanna leave you can, just be cleared out by this date. Bet! read more

Over the course of two years, the price more than doubled to well over $300 for a 10x10 non climate controlled space. Always collected tons of dust. We moved 1/2 mile down the road to climate controlled space, indoors, and the same size for $142. We understand price changes, but Extra Space Storage is just a ripoff. read more

Very friendly front desk team, the facilities themselves are well maintained and clean. I have a small 5x5 unit which is indoors and it is always kept cool which I like because I didn't want my stuff to be left in 100 degree heat. Their prices are some of the lowest in town but they do include a mandatory insurance plan which will cost you an extra $9/mo. I wasn't told about this until I signed my agreement. read more

Not only is there a UNNECCSARY rental increase on your 5th month, anniversary, and then all the time after that... they complain about little stuff. I remember having my finger prints taken when I first moved in (unlike Public Storage) and a few months after I moved in another tenant was complaining about WHY it is they even take fingerprints because when his storage unit was broken into, the police didn't even collect fingerprints. Not to mention I use their ONLINE website to do automatic monthly payment option and EVERY time I go in they ask me to fill out a written card with my credit card information on it. What's the use of using a so called secured online website when their $8/hr employees want full access to it in their office? Not worth the hassle and drama. I began renting from Extra Space in May of 2016. I disliked being forced to provide my banking info for automatic payments, as I prefer to choose how I'd like to pay. But the final straw occurred in December 2016. I needed a larger unit, and was told that once I paid for the new unit, I had 24 hours to move my things out of the old unit. I was going to be out of town so this presented a problem. I offered to pay to have an extra day or two, but they wouldn't allow it. I was advised that there were a few units left so just call when I was ready. I called about a week later, ready to pay the money and move into the larger unit. I was informed that the price had increased by $30 per month. It turns out the initial price I was given was a promotional rate, but nobody bothered to tell me it was a promotional rate. It would have been nice if I had all the necessary info to make a decision. Instead all I kept hearing was "There is nothing we can do", which is the equivalent of a verbal shoulder shrug. They even went as far as to fault me for not locking in my rate...even though I knew I wouldn't have been able to move my things in 24 hours. I expect satisfactory customer service for my money, and Extra Space Storage seems content to simply take my money while not providing any solutions. I will be taking my business elsewhere before the next mandatory automatic payment is siphoned from my bank account. read more

Recently rented a storage unit here and had a very good experience :) Initially reserved the unit online and when went to the office, the staff was friendly, efficient and professional. The paperwork was processed without difficulty and we were shown our unit by a staff member--making sure codes operated, etc. The facility was clean and secure--have returned to my unit several times and have encountered no problems. The convenience, location, accommodating staff and excellent storage facility were perfect for our needs and would highly recommend :) read more

Let me start off by saying that my Grandmother, mother, and my self have had units at this location for over 10yrs. We always pay on time if not not early. Always got along very well with the staff.NEVER had issues. Recently this location hired a new manager ( which I swear has horns) and she is just absolutely horrific! First the unit price went up, now the dumpster is locked up and can no longer be used by customers. But the absolute worst thing about her is her terrible additude! She's rude, snobbish, and because of HER and only HER I can't help but to leave this location after all these years. On top of that, it will not be at another Extra Space location. I've never used a storage facility before now. I am very satisified, we walked in to get prices and the manager honored the online special pricing. She was very nice, walked us through the unit, advised of all fees, due date for payment, how to cancel and everything else we could think of. We also tried to get the free moving truck and it was already in use, the manager scheduled it for the next available day but advised if it was returned that same day with enough time for us to use it she would let us know. well, before we left the parking lot, the truck was returned and we got to use it. For now, since it is only my first month, everything is perfect. read more

Moved to west side recently. This storage was close as I could find to my new apartment. Needed a moving truck and they provide it Free, giving us 4 hours, only had to fill up the gas that was used for the trips here. Manager was helpful with everything.
