I don't remember the size locker, but it was the next one up from the smallest, and it was perfect for all of her stuff. The sign up process was easy, everyone was friendly and helpful, and the space was clean and secure. The price was reasonable. The gates to the complex are locked after hours for security, and you simply punch in the code that they gave you to get in and back out. . It's not an easy code for everybody to figure out, which is good. I just put it on my phone. Check out was easy. The employee was walking by, and I asked him what we had to do to check out. He said, you're good. Just leave the locker open and I will get it done. Shortly after we got a confirmation email that we were checked out. If we needed to, we would store here again. Renters beware!! In Sept. 2023, I leased a 10x10 drive up access storage space for $146/month (including the mandatory insurance policy). After 4 months my rate increased to $242/month. Per the employee onsite today, "prices are subject to change - depending on supply and demand." When the employee was made aware that according to their website, (as of today) a 10x10 drive up access space is available to rent for $77/month, the employee said I would have to discuss further w/a manager. They will double the rate or more after a couple of months regardless of what prices they are supposedly offering. They will not match their own offered rates. All pricing online is fake to get people in the door, will last briefly then prices will double or more once its a real pain to cancel with them and they have all of your stuff. Find a different storage provider or count on paying double or more whatever they said your rate will be when you signed up. read more

I have a 10 x 25 basic unit for my business. I keep tools and equipment in this unit one year ago I was paying $430/month. I get price increases every few months. Most recently it jumped to $590/month. I consider the increases far more than reasonable. It's unheated and virtually no maintenance most of the year. In fact from a maintenance standpoint, the gutters clogged 3 times in one year dumping water into my unit. Every time I complain they address it but it's obviously a bandaid solution. This storage facility is a HUGE disappointment. My daughter had a large unit since November 2018. In June I organized her unit. I met the manager and explained my daughter is ill and I would be coming and going from time to time.I bought a new lock from the manager and my daughter added my name to her acct. My daughters boyfriend had been paying every month. I live 5 miles away and her boyfriend lives in another state. A month ago I was in the beginning stages of a move and temporarily placed the contents of my home in there. 3 days later it was auctioned. No call, nothing. No excuse. All gone. Stay away! I rented a 5x10 unit 3 months ago. Just received my latest bill. Went from $141.00 to over $190.00. Called the toll free number to complain. Was told I had to call the local facility, so I did. WAs told the price is set by corporate and there was nothing he could do. Called back to corporate. They offered me a $25 credit on this month's bill. Said they would send me an email confirming the credit. It's be 3 hours, still haven't received it. Time to switch read more

Service has declined in the last year. My building is always filthy (floors are not washed) and infested with moths. The magnet on the door of my building has been broken since October 2018 (I'm writing this in April 2019). I notified the management about this in November 2018 and it still has not been fixed. We rented a climate-controlled storage unit and the facilities are very nice, clean & easy to access. Good location close to the Kingston stop on the Thruway. The sales rep in the office was very nice and showed us around. My only complaint is that we weren't told about the mandatory insurance charge when I booked online, or when I spoke to the rep at the location to confirm the rental. So we got hit with an extra $10 minimum per month ($120/year) on the day we arrived. It felt like a bait & switch - they should be upfront about all the charges. So just make sure to ask when you confirm your rental. read more

Do not rent here.Prices are the highest in town.They make you get mandatory insurance,even though it's not required.They raise your rate just after 5 months and then raise it again every nine months after that.The raises of rent never stop as long as you are there.Some of the buildings there are not properly maintained and leak all the time.The manager on property is very nice but it's not worth storing there. The staff, once you can reach them, are generally courteous, but reaching them and getting them to follow up properly is another story. I've had to call up to 15 times to get the manager to respond to my messages, even when I leave a message with another staff member. They did not update my address when I moved and kept sending messages to an old address. I rented a space for my girlfriend and they made numerous errors to her account. They kept charging the wrong credit card, sent notices to the wrong name and address, sent letters saying they needed the space back for lack of payment, send the wrong information on the paperwork time and time again, etc., etc., etc. No matter how many times we were told they changed the information in the computer it was still wrong. It is almost impossible to reach someone by phone as they do not return voicemail messages and do not follow up in any way. Renting a space and keeping a space should be easy -- this not a complicated business and they have locations all over the country, yet they manage to make so many mistakes it's truly shocking. They also raise the rates on a regular basis so beware. My space is not only NOT climate controlled and the way the units are constructed the seal for the door is not tight enough to prevent a lot of dust and dirt that ends up over my things.The hours state that the office should be open, but when I arrived in person to talk to them today to try to get a response, there was a sign on the door saying they'd be back in about 20 more minutes. Finally someone showed up and I was told that she left me a voice message on my cell phone in response to my repeated calls -- but I never received that message. My experience with this company is extremely frustrating and time wasting! read more

I have since found out the whole chain of storage rooms is devious. What they say is the price for the storage room is really an introductory price. As they jack up the price on everyone in 6 months and everyone every 9 months after that. BUT THEY DONT TELL YOU THAT when you sign up for rooms. This is just not the way to do business. They dont inform customers what the truth really is. This is in effect that they are lying to the customer!! read more
