I got to the facility without a passcode to enter the area or the correct keys for access to my unit . I could not have gotten better service and support. Never was I made to feel like a dummy for not having the proper access code or keys . Deanna was absolutely wonderful. Got me and the movers into the facility, cut the lock off and was most gracious regardless of the circus I was creating. I highly recommend this storage facility. The help Deanna gave me made all the difference!

I decided to purge a bit and move to a 10'x10' instead of the 10'x15'. The savings was about $80 per month. The shining star in this was Jack. He was able to listen and understand my needs. He transferred me to the smaller unit and was able to work it out so I wouldn't have overlapping payments and I had plenty of time to do it. It's nice to see customer service still matters!

My biggest complaint is the operating hours. This is not a 24 hr facility. If you want to access your property, you have to do it between 7am and 7 pm. This does not work for me. I understand having operating hours for the office but the gate is electronic and operates with a pass code. Definitely need to reconsider these hours or at least increase them. If I am renting something I should have complete access to it.

My price went up slightly a few months in, but it was still WAY less then most of the chain storage places. There is a 24 hour kiosk which you can make a payment with, which is very helpful, since i normally would come when the office is closed. English/spanish bilingual and fluant. She was always polite and helpful when i went in. The ONLY con i had here, was the single on-site manager was EXTREMELY busy the first few days of the month, and it was hard to get a hold of them. There were a few times where I had to make a payment by card on the phone because i was out of town long term. Their payment website stopped working the last few months i was there. However, if i called before the 1st, she always answered and took my payment over the phone no problem. I think the biggest reason she was so busy was because of the people who insisted on paying at the last minute, OR missed a payment and wanted to complain about being locked out. I never saw the manager doing the lockouts, i think a second employee came in to handle them, but the phone would ring non-stop the first few days.

Shout out to "Albuquerque Mike" for his over the top care in getting me established again. This is the second time I'm here. After the first use of Far West Storage for a year, when I needed to have a unit again, I immediately came here and management worked to get me what I needed. I say worked because this place is so popular that sometimes it's near full. Also the security is top notch: bobwire topped fencing with lots and lots of cameras. 24 hours access is another super point and lights in the unit. Hiker Bob of El Paso
