Rented a storage unit in October at $118, which we had planned on keeping for years. After 3 months they increased my units price to $210. Almost $100, 100%, increase. The reason because they wanted to. Mind you not everyone's price went up. So now I am left with the choice to pay $1k a year more or move everything out. Keep this in mind if you choose to use them, at any moment they can raise you price to whatever. I completely understand prices on everything are increasing and it's a month to month contract but 100% increase is bad business. After reading other reviews it seems to be common practice; bring you in at a low price then increase the price exponentially once you have moved all your belongings in. read more

Extra Storage Space on Route 113 in Downingtown did well for me. I had an outdoor unit and felt my items were very secure. Access hours are extremely flexible making it convenient to 'visit' my belongings at any time. This is the second time I have used and stored my personal property at this location. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that the monthly fee was increased only a month after moved and was settled in. read more

I came to this space 2years ago in order to store basement contetnts. When I signed up, rate was $239/month. After 5 months raised it to $317 - a 25% increase. 75 days ago I was notified rate was going up again due to "Mrket Conditions". They want $402 /month now. That is another increase of 22%. When I complained to the site manager, he offered to reduce the increase by $40. Meanwhile, other facilityies are offering same size space, some climate controlled (this is not) for $239. Terrible people to deal with. Don't use them! read more

Not happy with storage unit they rented me. Floor in unit 4022 is very uneven along entire side and back edge of 5 X 15 drive up end unit. Makes it nearly impossible to use a wheeled dolly or hand truck to move heavy items (furniture) in and out. Also makes it more difficult to stack items and take advantage of full height of unit. Also there's a big dent in the metal siding, which reduces the capacity of the unit for storage. Management seems helpless to do anything about it such as discount rental price, saying they lack authority. On the plus side, truck access is good from two sides. Property is generally clean, neat, well-maintained. Location is convenient for what we need. read more
