I had gone through multiple dental operations the past few years and struggled to find a perfect fit for me -- an office where patient care comes first and efforts made for me to be comfortable and feel free from judgement. While browsing online forums, I've heard countless recommendations of Old Milton Dental from people who have had similar experiences to me in the past. Booking an appointment was smooth and easy, and I felt instantly at ease walking in. Front desk staff was amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better hygienist! Chelsea was the sweetest person ever, and really made me feel comfortable. I have never experienced such a thorough and in-depth explanation/analysis of my teeth and dental health. We discussed my medical history and factors that could affect my teeth health, and Chelsea detailed each process that we went through. The cleaning process went smoothly and then Dr. Silver came in to check on me. She was very easy to talk to, and showed me through my x-rays and scans to tell me about what I needed to do next in my dental journey to get my teeth back on track. I am so happy to finally find a dentist office that can slowly ease away my fears and anxiety!

The best dental experience I've ever had!…read more I moved recently and was in need of a new dental office, and I went with this one based on the reviews. It totally exceeded my expectations!! The ladies at the front desk were an absolute pleasure, so sweet and so professional, they made me feel so welcome. I also was taken to the back very promptly which was amazing, as I am usually used to waiting for a while at previous dental offices. Getting my teeth cleaned was a breeze. My technician was so so sooo sweet, I wish I could mention her by name but unfortunately I forgot it! Super knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. O'Neal was also wonderful. He made me feel super welcome and eased all my stress; Prior to coming in, I was scared and concerned for the health of my teeth as admittedly I haven't been taking the best care of them. He was very comforting and eased my concerns, and made the time to get me in for a cavity fill very shortly after the cleaning. He was also very funny! Which I appreciated, because I am very scared of cavity fillings and it helped ease some of my nerves. I 100% recommend this office, it was such a positive experience. As someone that was apprehensive about going back to the dentist after a while, I could not say enough good things about the staff, environment, and the service itself.

I appreciated that he didn't immediately recommend a new crown, so I booked a 6-month check-up and cleaning. I have the top executive-level dental plan, so even though Dr Gurley is out-of-network, I did not expect a 6-month visit to be more than $100 or so OOP, typical of other dentists here and in ORANGE COUNTY, CA. I then had a crown chip, and Dr Gurley again spent 10 minutes with me as he ground the corner of my crown to remove the sharp edge. I was shocked when I ended up with a bill for $959 dollars, of which insurance paid $411. It appears Dr Gurley DOUBLES the rates that top-of-the-line dental insurance pay, essentially double dipping. Gurley charges $145 for an oral exam and ins pays $72. Gurley charges $604 for a 6-month and ins pays $217, including $190 fee for panoramic & ins pays $82! Now no one will call me to discuss.

Because it's been so long since I've seen the dentist, I was given a thorough consultation by Pam the dental technician, she was so great. The cleaning went well although I hate the process Pam made sure I was comfortable. Then the doctor came in and came up with a game plan to get my teeth back in order. From my own personal experience I never felt that I was being sold something that I did not need, than again I only visit for regular teeth cleanings and checkups. The prices here are slightly higher than other dentists that I have visited in the past, but I must admit that I like the fact that this office uses the newest equipment. Before coming here, my previous dentist that my family was using, only had old equipment in his office, and after coming here, I see why it is important to use high quality equipment and the newest technology. A good dentist invests in their practice and wants the best for their patients. The people here are extremely helpful and any question that I have ever asked, always gets answered. I'd highly recommend Dr. Myers, he is extremely personable too. I am glad he is proactive. [Review #250] (Ninth Review of 2015)
