I have been coming here for years getting a massage only. I have not ever had an opportunity to visit the hair salon so I really don't know how that experience would be like.... Laura is fantastic she gives you exactly what you're looking for... I always get the deep massage and when I tell you it gets the job done it definitely does!!! I always have a great and wonderful experience when I come there. It is so Clean and the people are so Friendly and helpful. The Brazilian wax is painful and I have not have date. However when I am ready I will make sure that I definitely come to Expressions Salon and Spa! I have heard so many great things on how they are very patient and know exactly what they are doing.... So the summer months are coming up and I think I will go forward and give them a try... Appointments are required! read more

As a diabetic, I have to be careful with who gives me a pedicure and/or manicure. That said, several people referred me to Kelly N. at this salon so I decided to make an appointment with her to see how it would go. Several appointments later, I can say without hesitation she has been fantastic. She is always professional and always careful with my hands and feet (and having seen her with others I see her treat everyone very well). I'm so glad I found out about her and recommend her to anyone who is tired of bouncing from salon to salon just to find someone who has the skills, professionalism and the attitude to keep me coming back! read more

This was the WORST experience I've ever had at a salon and I do not say this lightly- I never leave bad reviews but I feel everyone should be warned before coming here. I went in for some highlights, a trim and style. So first off, the location on maps is completely wrong so I had to call the place to find then. It brought me to a Walgreens and I would've been better off getting my hair done there. Then second- my hair stylist had ME blow drying my own hair. I've never felt so disrespected in a salon. Then when it's time for my style- she says she doesn't have time and proceeds to charge me $250 for the whole appointment. I left with wet hair and extremely upset. I know a salon is not the norm for a toddler haircut, but I had a bad experience at another more kid-centered place so I tried this place. Best haircut experience for my son!! He loved it! We were in and out quickly, price was amazing, and our stylist even gave him a first haircut certificate with some of his hair! I was in the area visiting my mom and I wanted/needed a facial. Searching and calling around, I spoke with Paula for quite awhile (probably almost a half hour) about my skin and what I was looking for and her services. I totally booked an appointment and came in a few days later and I was SO glad that I did. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and professional in appearance. They provided very comfortable coverings to use during the facial. I was surrounded by tranquil and soothing smells and sounds throughout the entire experience. Paula is truly skilled at her craft and was as gentle as possible while still being thorough (extractions are tough for any facial, but she took much care when doing them on me). Afterward, Paula gave me skin care advice that has helped me improve my skin. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for a facial in the area. Paula was so warm and friendly and I was totally glowing afterwards! A little tip is that it can be a bit tricky getting to Expressions. It faces 1382, but to actually drive into it's lot, you have to go up a street that's off of 1382 and drive behind it. Just FYI as I almost couldn't find it when I first went. read more

I have gone to this salon for a pre college graduation cut and color. I told my stylist Trina that I wanted a light, bright summer look. Instead I was given an autumn color of reddish brown. It looks like I bought a $10 box of color at the local drug store. I have used other stylists there and never had a problem so it is a problem with just Trina. When I said I like the cut which I said I was letting her choose because that is what she is trained to do and honestly when I pick a cut it never looks right on my face but wanted a lighter color she said "It will lighten in the sun" If I wanted sun highlights I would not have paid this much for them.When We spoke to her about thinking she owed me a refund and she said she was and then tonight I get an email at 11 pm not even a call saying "Dear Tammy, I'm sorry that you were unhappy about your color service, however I don't appreciate you saying that I stand there to watch a client give me a tip. I stand there to be helpful and assist a client on how to check out on the credit card machine (Most clients don't know how to use a square). When you came in the salon today you mentioned that you didn't want to be a bleached blonde, however in my mind I think a warm golden blonde, which is what I did on your hair. We are all human and make mistakes, however I would like to make a suggestion; it is helpful to have pictures of what specific color you are wanting. This helps stylists understand what goal you are wanting to achieve (not all hairstylists think a like, having pictures is very helpful or being more specific of what you are wanting to achieve is helpful). Yes, I could have asked you a few more questions on what color blonde you wanted, but I did not want to put more lightener on your ends since they were already pre-lightened. If I would have done that it would have damaged the ends of your hair or caused breakage. I will refund you $20 dollars for the color service. I have been getting my hair cut by Trish Williams for the last 4 years and won't go anywhere else. I have premature gray that is hard to color.
