Express Nails is one of five nail salons situated in Yardley Borough. It can be difficult for individual nail spots to stand out since there are so many. My visit here wasn't scheduled; I needed a manicure last minute and called a few nail salons to check for open availability. There was a cancellation, and they were able to taken the appointment within the hour. Express Nails stands amount a strip of salons and boutiques in a quaint pink Victorian building. The inside is cozy and decorated very well. The salon is run by the owner and her daughter; both were extremely kind and welcoming. I opted in for my usual dip manicure, which was done by the owner herself My nails were weak and brittle from having dip removed a few days before my visit her. She did an incredible job throughly applying layers of strengthening polishes between the layers of the dip manicure. She was very friendly and engaging; I loved talking to her throughout my service. She didn't make me feel rushed at all despite me being visiting last minute The result of the dip manicure was beautiful. I was much happier with the result of this dip manicure compared to others I've gotten in the area. While I haven't tried every nail salon in Yardley Borough, I'll definitely be revisiting Express Nails. read more

Stopped in and met Sophie who gave me a wonderful pedicure. My feet still looked good two weeks later when I returned for another one. Sophie is gentle yet effective and did such a beautiful job on my toes. I saw a manicure client leaving and next I'm getting the works. Love this salon! I had the best experience a few weeks ago when I went in for a gel mani and regular pedi. I was so relaxed the entire time and my nail tech did an incredible job. I was so impressed at how she took her time and was so gentle and light handed I could have fallen asleep! The salon itself is beautiful and extremely clean. Loved all of the plants and decorative accents. I especially love how intimate it is - you'll never feel like it's crowded and they are rushing you in and out the door. This was my first time back since Covid and the place has gone through a transformation with a fresh coat of paint, new LED light tables and new pedicure chairs that look very cozy. There was mellow jazz playing, which made the ambiance that much more relaxing. They still offer very friendly, professional service and I'm happy to be back! Highly recommend. I saw the 5 star reviews and give the salon a shot. I had a horrible experience with one manicure and pedicure. My pedicure dried for two hours then I put shoes on and it smudged. The dip manicure lasted four days before they chipped. The second attempt at the salon I chose a different person and the pedicure was good but the dip manicure was just as bad. I was very specific what I wanted and I did not get it. I asked for the dip too coat and I got clear polish. I have never sat under a nail dryer for 20 minutes after a dip. Finally, the color did not go to the sides of my nails. I got a dark fall color and I can see the whites of my nails on about seven fingers. I feel like I wasted $85 twice. read more

I was referred to this salon by a friend that faithfully goes there. When I arrived it was astonished at how cute it was, it is located in a little row of shops. I was a walk I was worried about my ability to be seen on such a short notice. But when I walked in the door I was greeted by Thary( I learned it was pronounced Toddy) and she told me there was walk-in availability with a little wait, much to my satisfaction. I was able to sit and relax for a short period of time and then she saw me. Because I was feeling indecisive I simply got a manicure and simple polish. Came here because it is close to my job and I am looking for something close. They were friendly but my nails were an absolute mess. The top coat they put on my toes, I can't even tell you what it was, it was sticky and my polish was ruined. My nails were so thick. Will not recommend this place. read more

The people that work there are genuinely so kind and lovely, it's like visiting with friends once a week. They've got a little coffee and snack situation set up and these adorable chalkboard works of art. They've always done an amazing job on my nails and always seem to be able to squeeze me in. I had been going to this salon for 9 years and my mother-in-law even longer (every week) until she died a few months ago. My family would frequently buy gift certificates for me to this salon. Imagine my surprise when I uncovered an old certificate that was a little bit more than a year old and was told that I couldn't use it because it had expired. This is illegal according to PA statute and I showed them this on my phone. Despite the fact that I had spent a significant amount of money and have been a loyal customer for years they refused to honor the gift certificate. I was shocked they would treat a loyal customer like this, especially someone whose family had given them so much money over the years. I will never use this salon again. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews, but sometimes you just have to do it... I just moved to the area and I have been looking for a nail salon here. Based on the 2 reviews of long time clients from this place, I decided to give it a try, but unfortunately I was very disappointed with the service. I do keep my nails up to date, with mani done every week and pedi every other week, so I am usually an easy and fast client, but the nail technician was way too fast, barely filed the nails or pushed the cuticle, her mani and pedi were done in less than 40 minutes, while I saw other clients that got there before me and were not done by the time I left. The worst part was that I was offered an special top coat, which I was up charged for, that would help by nails not to chip in less than a week, since I like to have my nails looking nice, I was happy to try it. I did the nails on a Saturday morning, by Monday morning the mani was already chipped and my pedi chipped on Tuesday. Maybe I was fooled by the idea the magical top coat would work or the technician doesn't know how to polish nails, either way, I feel it's not worth trying this place a second time. Sorry. read more
