I already wrote a negative review but here we are..still dealing with the company with no ethics. The company asked that we take down our negative review because it affects their pay. I told them if we can get our counters with no issues and our missing item delivered with no issues I would consider it. But weeks later, we still have no counters because they cannot figure out how to measure for our countertops. It's not a complicated kitchen. Also we were supposed to have a delivery today for missing parts and nobody ever showed up. So I had to call to find out where they were because I waited around all morning and I was told that the truck is delayed and it's going to be a few more hours. Nobody ever called to tell us this... so again it all comes down to the fact that this company has zero accountability. Still do not recommend. Edited again to add: they did not deliver in the delivery window and did not bother to call. When I called them they say "oh we called your husband and told him" -- that was a lie. Finally received the missing parts that I waited around all day for and guess what?? ITS. NOT. CORRECT. Zero respect for their customers time, zero respect for the significant amount of money that we paid in full for, and still zero accountability. read more

I went to this store an hour ago and was happy to see it was open. My glee did not last long! Once I entered the store, a lady yelled across the floor , "We are open by appointment only!" Congenial man that I am, I nodded politely my mask and I exiting gracefully. I paused to turn around and read all of the door and window signs as I had done before initially entering. My second reading confirmed it - there was no signage indicating "appointment only." To spare anyone else the verbal wrath I endured I re-entered the store and advised the saleswoman that it would be most helpful if they posted on the door that it was "appointment only" so she would not be accosted by other impromptu consumers. Her response is why you are reading this. She firmly admonished me that the sign did state "appointment only." So either she was not aware of her signage or didn't want my patronage. We have had a wonderful experience with Express Kitchens, after working with multiple other companies and being let down. The true customization of a new kitchen design was a lot of fun, Patti was a doll! Last week our installer, Brian Smith came out to install all of the cabinetry and he was wonderful to work with. He is truly a master craftsman and went WAY above and beyond to make sure the job was not only done, but to a very high standard. We would highly recommend both Express Kitchens and Brian Smith to anyone looking to design a new kitchen. read more

I wanted to add some cabinets to my kitchen and replace my countertop. I went to a big box store and was very unimpressed (with just about every aspect) with that experience and decided to look elsewhere. I dealt with Chellie at Express Kitchens in Orange. I told her I was unhappy with what I was seeing elsewhere and wondered if she could do better. She was an absolute delight! I knew what I wanted going in and she helped me realize my vision without trying to get me to blow my budget. Now that everything is done, I am so happy. The cabinets and countertop look amazing! It took about 2 weeks for construction to be complete, which wasn't much fun with a 1.5 year old, but, now that it's done, I can say it was worth it. I took off a star because of the install side of things. The install itself (cabinets, countertops, and plumbing hook up) was good and the guys who did the work were nice and professional, but there seemed to be a ton of confusion/miscommunication in the business office. This lead to confusion on my end and some extra running around, which was annoying. Overall, I'd do it again and recommend Express Kitchens, I would just hope the people in the business office communicate with each other in order to cut down on confusion. read more

Went to Express Kitchens in Orange. Was told I had to pay in full before cabinets could be ordered. I did. Cabinets didn't come in when promised. They came to test for lead. I was told they would wear suits to remove and I would be givebN a certificate upon completion. That didn't happen,they charged me twice for removing and hauling away. They never took off the fee for measuring after I ordered. Also the crown molding seperated and the guy who removed my cabinets,also removed my walls and now my kitchen that was supposed to look nice looks like crap! I do not reccomend going there .i am not happy with the service. read more

Guess we will never know! Walked in to Express Kitchens in early December. It was my first stop at the beginning of my complete kitchen remodel. I walked around the store looking at cabinets and displays for a good 20 minutes. There were two associates working with customers seated at their desks. I could not find anyone else in the store to speak with. Neither associate ever looked up or acknowledged my presence. I get it, they were doing kitchen orders/layouts. There were forms scattered around and a sign that suggested to fill one out and make an appointment. So i guess this store is by appointment only. Here is the part I don't get. Can't you hire an associate to greet people, answer some basic questions and suggest or help you make an appointment? I was not the only customer that walked in and out without being acknowledged that day. I have completed my new kitchen and spent over $20,000 on cabinets and a countertop. I wonder what it would have cost from Express Kitchens. Guess we will never know! read more

I have worked with Express Kitchens for approx. 7 kitchen remodels. I worked primarily with Richard Cruz for the design work. Richard does an outstanding job and was super helpful when I had a large kitchen that was completely gutted and needed proper cabinet and island placement. The company actually uses this kitchen in their latest TV add! Kitchen Express is a growing company and they do need to tighten up their installation side. Some installers are better then others. Most will usually come back out and fix any cabinet or installation issues. They have a wide selection of cabinets and counters. Some of the cabinets are made in china (if not all) and may have flaws/scratches/paint or stain irregularities. Kitchen Express' customer service has always rectified any problems. The granite company they work with always does terrific job. read more

Should be no stars. Wasted 3 trips to the store and 3 hours of our time with this switch and bait company. Tv commercial advertised 100 sq ft kitchen with quartz countertops for$8999. First time there we were informed they ran out of quartz so we would have to pay up for something else. Promised free kitchen measuring but the screwed up the schedule even though I had an appointment card with the original date and time . Lastly spent 3 hours with Larry designing a kitchen and guess what the price was? $8999 guess again how about $18,000 . Stay away from this company. read more

We start our kitchen project in January and have still yet to have a completed job. Nothing is express about this company. We designed a beautiful kitchen and were eager to put it in and it's been nothing but problems. One of the contractors always late and then when he'd come He never had enough time to finish or his back was hurting so he'd have to cut and make a mess in the house. So Me at 8 months pregnant had to try to vacuum all the sawdust He left behind in the cupboards he put together & installed. Whenever he came back he always forgot what you had left to do. Job was done very sloppy pencil marks left everywhere,molding not matching up, visible nails all over, cabinet doors damaged from him being too rough, missing countertop that he had no idea what to do with and the list unfortunately Could go on and on. They finally sent out a new member after sending out a manager to complete our job and when the guy got here he had no idea and no materials to complete the job. Which we can't even blame him because he was told nothing by the company he works for. He himself was disgusted at the job left behind by his coworker. Then I called the company and they tell me "well didn't you have somebody come out Monday" Hello yeah........he's able to do nothing!!!! So once again I had to give them a list over the phone of everything that had to be done even though we told them once before, A higher up manager came here and made a list and then the guy that came Monday made a list. But apparently no one knows what's going on. We also called the people that we got the loan for the kitchen for this job and they told us that they took the money in full as if the job were completed. It takes a lot to ruffle my feathers but this is just beyond ridiculous! And this company does nothing absolutely nothing to make it up to the customer. We will never recommend this company to anyone with actually been telling people to not go. I hate having people come over For dinner and having to eat and a half done kitchen/dining room for months and months now!! Do yourselves a favor and take your business elsewhere even if it costs more it'll be worth it. read more

I honestly wouldn't even give it 1 star. When this projected started I thought that express kitchens was going to be amazing since it was going to be a one stop shopping for design, cabinets, and counter tops. Everything went well in until the cabinets were delivered. When the cabinets showed up all but one cabinet were delivered. We were told that specific cabinet was a custom item so it would take longer, which we had purposely set the delivery date for later so that they would all be delivered in 1 day. The next problem came when the cabinets were going to be installed, the single door cabinets were sold and labeled as left and right hindged cabinets but all the cabinets came with the hinge on the left. This is when the problems with costumer service began. When customer service was contacted I was basically told there was nothing they could do and to figure it out. When the rest of the cabinets were unboxed there was a problem with a cabinet slide not closing properly, this was was replaced by customer service with another one that was broken and on the thrird time it was correct and useable. Then my biggest problem occurred based on the design of express kitchens and their layout of the kitchen. The base blind corner cabinet that was specified (42 inch cabinet) would not open because of the door and draw being to big and hitting the stove, not to mention the door and draw were on the wrong side of the cabinet, which had been specified in the original order and item description. So after finally getting some one at customer service I was sent a smaller base corner cabinet (36 inch). The smaller one sent was now too small leaving a huge visible gap between the cabinet opening and stove. Since by this point I was getting no help from customer service, I was able to research the cabinet maker and find a 3rd option from the cabinet that was a 39 inch cabinet, so that was ordered but once again we were told it was a custom item and I had to wait 8 weeks for that cabinet to be delivered. While waiting for that to be delivered the next design flaw was noticed the 3 draw cabinet next to the fridge pannel would not open because of the lip on the fridge panel, something a "professional designer" should have know. At this point we had a contractor come in who was able to make minor adjustment to make this work. The next issue was the wall mounted wine rack. The item that was ordered was a 30 bottle rack and what was delivers was and 18 bottle rack, when we questioned this mistake I was told a 30 bottle rack never existed and that was all they sell, so we ended up having to settle on the smaller and reconfigure the area to make it work. Just when I think there won't be any more issues the slide out trays in the 2 pantry cabinets are ready to be installed but there is no "stand offs" or mounting hardware to install them. Back to customer service we go, which of course as you guessed they would send us the stand-offs, so finally after weeks of waiting for the mounting hardware and stand-offs we are ready to install. Except they didn't send any type of instructions, just a few blocks of wood. When I contacted our customer service rep via email, no response was ever sent, so we took it upon ourselves reaching out to Wolf themselves who within a matter of hours sent us the instructions. The issues still haven't ended, the top drawer (Of our 3 pots and pans drawer) bottoms support is hanging making a terrible screeching noise as we close the drawer. Customer service was once again contacted, about 4 weeks later the delivery team shows up with a drawer which was a 12in drawer instead of a 30in drawer. By this point as you can imagine we are at whits end, the BBB had been contacted. Once again we called regarding the drawer issue and are still waiting on a replacement (the original delivery was 1/27, we are now in the end of February). Currently we are still awaiting the replacement drawer as well as 4 new pull out drawers for our pantry's since the corners were all broken off the original ones sent. This entire process has been a complete horror show. As I mentioned we have contacted BBB but unfortunately Express Kitchens has decided not to respond to them so we are currently dealing with the Department of Consumer Protection. STAY AWAY from this terrible company, the minute you have your first issue they are calling you none stop but once you have more than 1 issue they disappear. AWFUL customer service! read more

Going to Express Kitchens in Orange was the worst decision we could have made. Multiple times our deliveries were "cancelled in the system" when we took off work to be home for the delivery. We had to send back cabinets three times due to door being damaged as well as a large piece of our quartz. When attempting to have the items fixed and replced (we called and left many voicemails that went unanswered) one of the females had the nerve to say it was our fault because they were trying to get in touch with us but we weren't answering her calls. When I requested the times and dates she attempted to reach us she just said "it was a misunderstanding". We are still waiting on a refund since measurements were wrong and they sent us more cabinets then what we needed, still going unanswered. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else, leaving one star on here is generous I would leave a zero if it was an option. read more

Decent place although had an issue with the simplest part of the kitchen the sink grate that took 6 weeks to resolve. We were given the wrong size and took weeks of talking to them and the manufacturer to come all the way from NY to resolve when the correct grate was in the office the whole time. The secretary at Express handed me the wrong one and was going to send the right one back but it took weeks and a few pple to figure this out. Also had an issue with the granite place Renaissance that is contracted by Express. They set the install date, never called me to confirm the day before so I called them. Come to find out they had me down for a later date when my husband and I made arrangements at work to be home the original date given. Needless to say it did not make me, an 8 month pregnant lady happy at the time. The counters were then installed the original date we were told after some stern talking to. Also have an issue with the slow close mechanisms of our drawers but we call once it gives out and we are fed exed the new track immediately. So I give this place 4 stars amongst the issues we had, because I do love my kitchen it looks great, it was within our budget, and the minor issues we have had have been resolved and rather quickly aside from the sink grate. The associate we worked closely with was Rich. He was easy to reach by email or phone and worked with us thru the issues. I got the feeling he deals with these issues often though. I would recommend this place if you have patience but we couldn't afford a $50k kitchen so you get what you pay for I suppose. I should mention my father in law and husband did the install. There was much to choose from as far as cabinets and countertops go in many different price points. Your one stop shop. We did an entire kitchen including appliances through Express except for the flooring. read more
