"After 5 years of debating, we finally decided to have our tiny swimming pool removed from the backyard. We are very glad that Express Demo and Hauling took care of the job. All of our concerns and questions were addressed well in advance. We were constantly impressed by their professionalism, fair price, knowledge, courtesy, and the quality of work. We had concerns about the blooming nectarine tree by the very narrow path of the bobcats. Pierre and his crew tied back the branches with elastic ropes and bands. Now 2 weeks after the pool was removed, so many purple baby nectarines are happily sitting on the tied back branches. The gate to our backyard is only 1 inch wider than their smallest bobcats. It's amazing that Pierre and his crew didn't even damage the stucco on the side of the gate. They were also very smart in creating a covered path for the bobcats to ride on but didn't damage our front lawn below the wood planks and the plastic covers (another company said that our lawn will be gone along with the pool). They cleaned up the street and sidewalk where the dirt was stored every day before they left. They swept clean our backyard after they finished the demo. Pierre even took away the old pipes and electric wires left in our yard after the SPA was taken away 7 years ago. Anena is more like a friend in the whole process. Express Demolition and Hauling are wonderful. We needed to have our old swimming pool taken out along with the concrete surrounding the pool. I first checked with the BBB and found that Express Demolition and hauling have an A+ rating, so I gave them a call and Anina came right out. The quote was lower than we had anticipated and we set a date to start. One of the workers showed up the day before to drain the pool and disconnect and remove all of the electrical wiring to the lights, pump, filter, etc. The next morning a crew of 3 came with a bobcat and lots of clean soil, and started work immediately. They first had to remove part of our gate/fence and a storage shed to get the bobcat into the backyard. They were so very careful. They worked tirelessly for 4 days, and we have never seen anyone work so hard, what a great crew. They were polite, friendly, and fun but kept working and letting us know what they were doing step by step. Just before the project was finished we wondered about having our retaining wall replaced and they gave us an estimate over the phone, arranged for the stacking blocks to be delivered and started on the wall as the final load of dirt was added to the yard. I am not a wealthy person but I wanted to improve the appearance of my property by removing a large sloping mound of dirt and a very large granite boulder on the side of my garage. Overall great experience. I had an in ground pool removed from my back yard. This was not an easy project, as the access to the pool was a 39 inch opening in two places. Express Hauling rented the extra equipment needed to accomodate this difficult access, and removed the pool exactly as promised. They showed up when they said they would, completed the job on time and on budget. Because access was so tight, they had to build several dirt ramps across walls and brickwork. You can imagine what running a one ton Bobcat over brickwork will do.... When the pool was filled in, their team removed any damaged bricks and fixed them to look as good as new. I even noticed a small amount of damage after the project was finished. They immediately came out and resolved the problem quickly and professionally. Hello, I used Express hauling a few months ago. Not only did they arrive on the day I scheduled but they cleared all the gravel out in record time. They made it easy but texting back photos to get the initial estimate and very friendly. When we came to an agreement on an estimate, they dispatched a team to my home. the team reassessed the amount of gravel to haul and then gave me an updated quote. I had approx 8-10 cy to haul, but they weren't able to haul it all at once. They ended up filling up the truck and cleared 6cy of gravel making room for my project. They gave me a really good price and I felt very satisfied with the service. This is my second time using them and again, very friendly, text is convenient if you are a busy person running around and they came back to haul the rest at reasonable price. Just yesterday Express Demolition and Hauling performed my inground pool removal. My pool was 20000 gallons and had been left in major disrepair from the previously foreclosed tenants.
