The Gresham Express Employment office told them that they only work with industrial jobs and that "we are not the right place for you". They aren't helpful or empathetic to what job seekers are experiencing with this economy. Horrible i been waiting for an assignment for 100 days and nothing, don't waste your time here.

I worked with their office once before and the process was as easy and painless as last time. Swung by the gresham office after work on a monday and they were kind enough to take some preliminary information and then set up an appointment to meet with one of their professionals the very next day. Process was quick and easy. They arranged an interview a few days later (thursday) with one of their clients and by the end of the week (friday) I had a job offer for better pay, better hours and a better work environment. If I could I would give it 0 stars. This Gresham Office is understaffed, overworked, and very unprofessional. If you go down the reviews it shows the owner, Lisa Monfils, and other people employed at the location, 1201 SE 223rd Ave Suite 120, Gresham, OR 97030 (along with their friends and family that HAVE NOT been employed by this office), have had to leave reviews of their own office because the real reviews are horrible. Lisa even responds to her review and of course to her employees within the office. They do not communicate but expect you to AND know all the rules and procedures the first day. There is no room for learning or being human and making a mistake, but they do all the time. They short pay, have given incorrect information to employers, say they have reached out when they have not, and wonder why you have no respect for them. This place is horrible to be a temp. My advice is to go to the next local office, 10011 SE Division St Ste 102, Portland, OR 97266, 503-254-1200. They are in East Portland. I hope no one has to experience what so many of us have. It really makes you lose faith in people/ companies. IF you do decide to employ yourself through them, please call before driving all the way there. They do not adhere to the hours on the internet. When you roll in at 4:45 p.m. (supposedly open 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) multiple times after working 10-hour days expecting them to be open and of help, it is frustrating when they aren't. This Express location can't do what is expected of their temps. Be to your job on time, stay required hours, give notice if the office will be closed or unavailable or if no one is showing up, and follow procedures and protocols. All I ask is this "team" do better. People want to work and this place makes it quite challenging. Here's to hoping they can get it together. read more

Worst customer service ever. My manager was an hour late to our schedule appointment! Super unprofessional. Never gave me assessment test prior to placing me into my position. Instead of standing up for the employee they got word that I was slow and unprofessional in my assigned job , 6 days of work! Nope it was work harassment and I reported it.
