I booked Golden Grip Gymnastics about six weeks before my son's 3rd birthday. They were so much cheaper than everywhere else in the area, but my husband and I checked out the gym when we put down the deposit so I felt confident that the kids would at least have fun if nothing else! I had planned to bring my own cake and have pizza delivered, and although GGG provides tablecloths, plates, napkins, etc., I brought my own because I wanted everything to follow the theme of the party. We had the whole huge gym to ourselves. The gymnastics area was a BLAST for the kids (especially the foam pit), and then Corbyn led a group dancing game and we took photos of all the kids together (a great idea and something I never would have thought of to do!). The GGG team took care of setting up, handling the kids, handing out pizza and cake, and cleaning up. Corbyn set everything up on the tables, but was totally cool with me rearranging some things in order to make room for the pizza.  My review is not doing justice to the amount of hard work the GGG team put in and how much fun the kids had. I could not give a stronger recommendation for Golden Grip as a birthday party venue. Such a great experience, and depending on my son's interests next year, we'll probably plan to be back!

I had the privilege to observe a couple of classes in a great holding area for the parents and visitors. They have all the equipment you'd expect in a world-class gymnastics space, I almost wanted to go out there and do some of it myself but couldn't upstage those starry-eyed kids! As I understand it they also train the older kids who are Olympic hopefuls and have garnered some major awards in the various competitions across the state. As I understand it, gymnastics is HUGE in Texas so it makes perfect sense a place like this exists!

They've known how horrible the experience has been with them & I wanted my last day to be July 27th, there were discussions with the front desk when scheduling my make up classes. It's like their looking to want to charge my card to makes matters worse. They are quick to take your money and make you feel like you matter on the first free class. After, the young coaches they have don't seem like they have any drive to teach the girls or even look like they want to be there. They chatter with other coaches while our girls stand there lost. (again, could be cause of the volume their given) if so, Trinity- don't be greedy, give the coaches less girls that YOU KNOW THEY CAN HANDLE.

My daughter was on team , we were initially looking at the USAG program and we made the decision to enroll into the TAAF program due to scheduling. They were very informative in helping us get settled into the gym as well understanding the difference in each team program and what to expect. The Coaches ( Princetta, Katie, Mary and Stephanie ) are amazing , no yelling , always being positive and encouraging to help build confidence in the gymnasts. It says a lot when other Coaches take the time to acknowledge and give corrections and offer support to a gymnast who is not necessarily under their own instruction and group on several occasions ( my daughter was spotted by Rick and Kadence on uneven bars ) . Anytime I have called or stood at the front desk Ms. Lori and Adrian were very helpful and welcoming . They were always eager to assist and make sure I had a good understanding when I had questions. They also would double check any payments or team fees when I had to update my records during meet season. They helped walk me through a blind access to my account and never passed any judgment for not being tech savvy. As far as the gym it is a very uniform and structured facility. If the gymnast are are on the uneven bars / balance beam they are able to see themselves on a tv screen to be able to see form and visualize the error / correction. A larger gym would be ideal somedays it may seam a little over crowded ( prior to COVID -19) . You have the ability to watch practice or drop off. As far as Beckie and Kurt they always made themselves accessible to any parents who had any questions or concerns . They gym has done a phenomenal job of insuring the gymnast safety. I would highly recommend this gym- KT STRONG!

We love the other two locations but this one was incredibly disappointing for their lack of cleanliness. Toddler time is a great opportunity for little ones to expel energy and UE offers that. However, I don't feel it is sanitary at all especially for the young ages that are there. They have chemical bottles just laying around that can easily get into the wrong hands. They had garbage laying around on and by the gym mats, even though it clearly says not to bring food in there ppl don't always listen. There was a staff member "working" but she was just sitting on a mat the entire hour and lots of rules were broken without care (shoes being worn, etc). There has been a broken light for quite some time and it's also a safety concern where the bulb flashes like a stobe. This can be extremely harmful to someone who has epilepsy and isn't a precaution that people aware about before they enter, nor is it something that they have fixed and has been like that for quite some time. There is chalk everywhere which is a given for gymnastics but this is so much then I have ever seen elsewhere and an asthmatic they can feel it in their lungs and you just see the dust in the air which is not good to breathe in. It honestly doesn't look like this place is cleaned even tho there are full chemical bottles just laying around. It just felt very unsanitary and gross. In comparison to the other locations in town, this one is disappointing to see their lack of care and attention. There really isn't an excuse for that neglect.

He works well with different personality types, especially difficult coaches like myself. The gym itself has 3 full sized nationals mats. Two are spring and the other is flat. One of the selling points for the birthday party is they teach the children a cheer and later the children perform the cheer for the parents at the party-finale (it sounds so dramatic calling it a finale, huh?). I was excited about this but after seeing it ... well I was underwhelmed. It was very short. I suppose that is due to the limited time they have to teach them so perhaps my expectations were a bit high. Also, beware the parties run back to back and right alongside of some 1-1 cheer instruction (the students and instructors stay out of the way of the party). While I was hanging out with the parents during the party, we were able to watch some of the gymnastics students in their 1-1 instruction - wow. The students there seem very talented and focused and they had many awards hanging on the ceiling as well. If my daughters want to get into cheer, I will look at this place very closely as they seem very good. The birthday party was a success too.
