The new owners are there on a daily bases and take great interest in the kids, my grandson will not leave with out saying goodbye to the owners. I can not say enough about the director she is in-tune with the kids and their parents. This school has so much to offer such as bilingual story time, book fairs, parents night out and so much more. There are themes such as Dinosaur and story time characters month The first month there my grandson who is now 3 knew how to count to 10 in Spanish and some Japanese words. The teachers are very patient and take time to love the kids while they learn. I must admit my grandson is a handful but the entire staff works to keep him in line in a loving way. The ladies that take care of the kids in the morning are very helpful in assisting me with him so I can get to work. This is a great Daycare and they did not ask me to write this review, I was compelled to do so because am so impressed with my grandson progress.

The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m., yet we were not notified until approximately 4:00 p.m. at pickup. When we contacted the director, the account we received differed from what the classroom teacher told us. We were also provided with a written incident report that raised concerns because the description did not appear consistent with our son's injuries. We sought medical evaluation for our son and ultimately decided we could no longer feel comfortable sending him back. What concerned us most was the delayed notification, inconsistent explanations, and lack of clear follow-up. We expect a childcare center to prioritize children's safety and provide parents with timely, accurate, and transparent communication when an injury occurs. We are sharing our experience so other parents can ask questions about supervision, injury reporting, and parent notification policies before enrolling their children.

When she called to discuss the assessment my son and I were just there to she abruptly questioned if I was concerned about his safety. As I sought clarification, she sharply interrupted me and accused me of "having an attitude". This is a tried and true micro aggression that she had no problem throwing around which shows she felt she had the right to control my tone all while hers was one of disrespect and condescension. When I attempted to express my confusion, Ms. Conn's response was to rashly announce that she would "just take him off our list." Throughout our conversation, Ms. Conn wielded her words and tone like a weapon, showcasing an unsettling display of privilege and power. As the school leader, we expected her to foster a sense of collaboration and partnership in the enrollment process, bridging the gap between families, students, and other school stakeholders. Instead, we encountered an individual who took pleasure in her gatekeeping role, someone who reveled in the ability to dictate, limit, and control access. Ms. Conn's entire attitude was unarguably condescending, her demeanor cold, and her empathy was nowhere to be found. I was iffy about this place just being a first time mom but a 24 hour daycare was hard to pass since I'm a manager in retail. First off: No. it's not 24 hours. They open at 4 am and close at 11p. Minor setback since they only allow 12 hours max to watch & has a strict policy of not dropping kids between 10:30 and 2pm. (If my shift is 2p-10p; I have to call someone to pick him up) Not to mention Sunday's they are CLOSED. Which I mentioned to them is not accurate on google or yelp & they said they're trying to get them to fix it. Now... the doors ARE LOCKED AT ALL TIMES. There is a code you have to put in to open the door & Full-time kids have a separate code from the part-timers. I had my boyfriend pick up my baby at one point but I forgot to add him to the list and they had him call me to confirm. Which was annoying but great they took that extra step. The teachers there are great as well. They are pretty consistent as far as Monday and Friday go but if you drop your infant off on Saturdays they're may be teachers from the TKP other location (which can be bothersome for both the child and the parent because they aren't familiar with them or they're usual schedule). They also come up with really cute projects for the kids and I get a cute footprint or handprint painting every other week or two. Lots of "first Halloween" "first thanksgiving" or even some pertaining to the books they read the babies & they play Super Simple Songs in the background which my baby loves :) & they let you know when they're running out of diapers, extra clothes, or food. Now... my baby did get sick quite a bit but the teacher and staff were very adamant about picking him up if he showed to many signs of being sick (throwing up his food; diarrhea, etc.) Even when his temp was 99 they always go up a point so he couldn't be around the babies just in case they're really is something wrong & it rises. They also call as soon as your child may have gotten hurt. I've now had a call now and again since he's holding onto anything and everything to stand up. But I know if there's a scratch or bump, where it came from. All and all they have their flaws but none I would pull my child out of daycare for. My son even at 10 months can give me an indication if he doesn't like someone. As long as he's happy, I'm happy. ‍ *I know my review was a little all over the place but hopefully I helped in making your decision to at least check out the place*.

Maybe it's a good thing that they don't because I would drive myself crazy checking it too often, and I understand parents not wanting other parents to have video access to their child. I also like how they offer a discount if you pay monthly instead of weekly. After touring 5-7 other daycares, I realized Kid City was the only center with that option. They knew our name and face on the 2nd day, and my son's teacher is very hands-on when it comes to his milestones while also allowing him to be independent.
