I tried multiple times to cancel my membership, but they've made it nearly impossible. Every time I reach out, I'm told I have to come in in person to cancel -- which is unreasonable since I don't live anywhere nearby anymore. Over the years, I've been bounced between locations, given email addresses that don't work, and told different people can't help me. It always ends in a dead end. Out of frustration earlier this year (2025), I finally had to stop payments through my bank just to avoid being charged indefinitely. Now, I'm being contacted by a debt collector for money I do not owe -- even though I haven't checked into their gym in years. When I reached out again recently, the only "solution" they offered was that I could write and mail a letter with my name and signature. In today's world, that is ridiculous. Every other gym I've been with (24 Hour Fitness, InShape, etc.) allows easy online or phone cancellations. Here, it feels like they purposely design the process to trap people into paying for memberships they don't use. This is not how an honest business should operate. I would never recommend Fitness System to anyone -- they make cancellation a nightmare, and it comes across as predatory. If you value your time and money, go elsewhere.

Jesse is not a stand and watch while he runs you through a program type of trainer. He works alongside you, motivating you to keep up and "push passed hard" (whatever hard is for you). From the moment I arrived, Nancy created a welcoming and professional environment. Even though it was my first class with her, she took the time to learn about my background and experience, offering personalized guidance and thoughtful adjustments throughout the session. Every movement was explained with precision and purpose, and Nancy had an incredible eye for detail--gently refining my form to help me move more efficiently and with better alignment. I've seen 2…read moredogs (clearly not service dogs) - one was a pit bull that came out of the women's bathroom with a rope around its neck. 5 minutes later some woman came out to find her dog. Today a homeless guy was going through the trash cans looking for recycling (not the end of the world) but then he went into the bathroom and proceeded to make a mess in there. When I asked the employee at the desk if they now let homeless people go through the trash cans - she didn't bother answering before I walked away. I'm sure she didn't notice him walk in as they are ALWAYS on their phones. If you're looking for a gym - keep looking.
