We had some people who signed at the wrong location so we had to get them signed up first. The people working there were very helpful and patient with this, but they do need that waiver first. And, they only do online waivers, no paper. After that, we went to the armory to get our safety discussion, our rifles, and masks - some of our group have their own equipment - that is okay, bring your own if you have it. Then, we went out for 4+ hours of fun. It started with a training session and then moved to more two team challenges. The fields here are excellent. Some have buildings, old cars, shipping containers, boats, campers, tires, and more and more and more things in the fields. I hope to be back soon!

I checked pool passes out from the library, because admission is kind of steep & I had out of town guests. $18 for a non-resident child (same price as an adult) seems pretty high to me. Staff were confused by the pool passes. They finally figured out how they worked and we got in. I didn't find the staff to be particularly friendly. Many of the lifeguards were rude to people and just an overall unfriendly tone. The waterpark and pool area itself is quite nice! Loved the water slides and lazy river. I will return to use those again.

The park is in need of some attention and appeared to be having some work done near the soccer fields at the south end of the park. There is a paved trail that runs along a ridge on the east end of the park and extends all the way to the observation deck overlooking the Big Blue River. The river has a ridge that helps keep the water from overflowing into the park area. The camping sites (with picnic tables and hookups, but no grills) line the river bank. A playground is centrally located between the shelters and is fenced. It has several slides, swings, and some climbing equipment. Overall, it seems like a decent park for the town but could use some updates. Review #835
