I…read morehad gifted myself that jump for reaching 230 lbs & I put my weight loss efforts into overdrive so that I could learn to jump on my own. I've not been able to jump in a couple years (surgeries/illnesses) but I took my first jump course and several jumps with SDI (and quite a bit of jumps at other DZs that don't close for the winter). I'm down to 120 lbs today, 52 jumps. It's been several years from that first jump, and when I'm healthy enough I'll be right back in the air with the best instructors you can get in the Midwest! The most important things to remember about this DZ is that the instructors are top notch. They really care about your comfort and safety. They'll accommodate special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, etc. Safety comes first naturally, but for customers? Having fun is your first responsibility!

We have NO IDEA why they kept letting other parties go ahead of our people. There is no reason to wait for 8 hours in a barren field just to jump out of an airplane. However, Dave Marsh gets 5 stars...I'd give him 6 if I could. My tandem jump was a memory for life, so much fun, and the video that Sean took was also great.

It was gorgeous out and a great view the whole way down. You go two at a time and each set takes about 45 mins. If you go with a group of 5 be prepared to be there for a few hours so bring a snack! It's also pretty chilly 10,000 feet up so wear long sleeves!
