I contacted other locksmiths, but Mark was came in at a great price and tried to walk me through testing the key fob, swapping its batteries, the physical key and anything else that could be wrong. Luckily for me the battery came back to life enough for me ro be able to take the car to Mark. There he did some diagnostics and told me it was likely a failing battery and not the key fob. Well, I was grateful for that as it meant I didn't need to replace the current key fob. But I don't like to be left unprepared so I asked him to program a second key fob while I was there. I had bought one previously but put off getting it done. Mark quickly cut and programmed the new one. It worked as good as the original. Anyway a long annoying morning ending up pretty great as I now knew what was wrong, was able to get into my car and get it started. And I got a new key fob done for a great price. I'm glad I did, because Andrei IS too good to be true, and yet he exists. Excellent communication, punctual, thorough and completely self-sufficient, the hinge replacement process started off great. Then, after expertly replacing the hinges, and even sanding a bit at the base of the door where it caused the door to stick when opening and closing, he checked to see how the door opened and closed - the door was now blissfully quiet, but still stuck, and he identified the door latch and plate as needing to be adjusted. Above and beyond! The door works perfectly now, it's literally like a new door. And because the door was to my mother-in-law's bedroom, having Andrei provide this superlative service scored me a few points with her (well, at least for a few hours, until she found something else to grumble about). Great service! Lost the keys to a Yamaha FZ6R. I was facing an astronomic towing and repair bill, and no other locksmiths in the NYC area claimed to be able to make new keys for Yamahas. Do yourself a favor and believe all the previous five star reviews. Boris is a real professional and stand up guy. He noticed my blank key and fob I bought online was missing a transponder in the key, rendering the key useless without the fob. He provided me one and ended up not charging me extra for it in the end. He is a real gentleman and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. read more

After I broke my bmw car key and couldn't start my car, I called Boris last minute he showed up fast programed a new key for me and I was back on the road and offered to charge me less than what he quoted.
