Early birthday gift and we saw the Egypt exhibit! The staff were incredible, warm and inviting. The space is great and they were detailed on how the VRs worked. It was our first time doing VR and it was a cool experience. It's free parking and free locker space for your items which was nice. Looking forward to the next exhibit!

    Direct from prehistoric times!

Amazing adventure! You really feel that you are in Egypt!. Not for people with vertigo or fear of heights.

We did the zombie killing one and it was SO fun. 30 minutes flew by and I could've played for another 2 hours. The entrance is a little alcove, follow the signs up the stairs. Definitely make sure you book your session ahead of time. Once everyone arrives, you must sign the waiver (which you can also do ahead of time). Then they take you to your room you'll be in. The lovely workers strap on your wrist and ankle sensors, they then take you into the room you'll be in, the workers come in again and put the vr goggles on your head for you, then they hand you your weapons. The zombie one was pretty realistic, prob not for minors, but great fun for adults! I def will be back to play the Squid Game one. Great idea for birthday parties or get togethers. The workers do a good job of disinfecting everything you use as well. We parked in the lot across the street, street parking is pay to park and seems pretty tough to find a spot.

We ended up dividing the 90 minutes into (3) 30 minute games so our groups could keep rotating. They have lockers to lock belongings in, rooms can host up to 6 people and have options to order simple beverages while you play. Our first game was Box Party which is their version of a Mario Party. There are a couple of mini game options as you work through the map. This by far was our group's favorite game! We chose the 30 minute game but easily could have played it for the full 90 minutes. Our second game was Floor is Lava. This one was fun but a bit harder than I was expecting it to be. There are parts where you bump into other players so I recommend playing with good friends or family. This is more of a group task game. Our third game was Angry Birds. This overall was the group's least favorite as it wasn't very physical. The game takes on the classic idea of launching birds at towers to get points. This was more individual tasks than team tasks. Overall, this was such a fun experience! They offer games for any aged guest and for any comfort level of players together. I enjoyed having the personalization of our "meeps" to play in each game too.

I won't ruin it, but I will say it was definitely fun and there was some intensity to it. While it utilized VR headsets, tt definitely was not a full VR experience. You interact with the game on the walls. There was an option to purchase beverages during the experience which we did not do. After the ad popped up a few times it got to be a little annoying. It was just the two of us so we were able to do each game repeatedly, which made it even more fun because it allowed us to figure out how to solve the puzzles. Because of that I wouldn't suggest going with more than four or five people. Overall, I would say it was worth the trip to Oakbrook.

They (conveniently) never got back to me before the party to answer basic questions about their packages, confirm details about the food, etc. This is all part of their plan - to be as shady and ambiguous as possible about the party packages. It's a true bait-and-switch scam. They position the arcade package as "unlimited." Buyer beware - there are only like 4 games that are unlimited, all of the other games require an upgrade, which was super frustrating for the kids (and for us). Because their game cards only lasted about 5 minutes, we had to add laser tag to our party package to avoid having the kids just running around aimlessly. Turns out, only about 1/2 of the kids were able to participate because of their shoes. The party planner didn't help us whatsoever with serving the pizza, cupcakes, or cleanup. And then had the nerve to charge a mandatory "service fee" (tip) of over $100. It was a MISERABLE party experience from start-to-finish....and it cost us over $700! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs!

Good news is there were no lines because on a Sunday turns out very few people were there besides my kids birthday party and staff along with the guy who just smoked marijuana in the bathroom. The staff was beyond stupid and unhelpful they kept telling us how bad the place was but would not come Up with any solutions except apologizing and trying to upsell other activities, seeing how we had 1-1/2 hours left we bought the laser tag package due to there recommendation, kids were excited we walked over and they told us several of are kids could not play due to the shoe they had on and kids were then upset. Now the party ends and they charge a service fee of over 100 dollars and they recommend a tip also. place is a joke avoid at all cost
