But when it was raining, i took my son here and he really had a blast looking at all the different types of fishes. there are small tanks on the back left of the store, which is cool to look at. they also have a large tank of kois front and center when you walk in. One of the coolest feature of this place is the fish tank where you can put your head in the middle of it and see the fishes from a different perspective. They also have a large tree which add a nice touch to the ambiance to the place. This place also hosts birthday parties, where i'm assuming you can feed fishes and learn more about them. What an interesting place to have a birthday party.

this place is absolutely horrific, i would not recommend going here. it seems like a nice place,…read morewith lots of livestock and supplies but it's not. i recently got an ocellaris clownfish from here and i had noticed paleness around the mouth area, thinking nothing of it, i took it home. not even two weeks later this fish is dead, its body pale. the salinity and temperature in my tank at normal range. i tested my water thinking it was maybe an ammonia spike, no ammonia. then i tested nitrate and nitrite, none of that either. my mocha storm clownfish that i intended to pair with the clownfish that died started acting strange. paleness on its sides, stringy mucus coming off of it, hanging near the sand bed only, heavy and fast breathing. my mocha storm clownfish has brooklynella! it was perfectly healthy before i got this recent clownfish and now my mocha storm is fighting for its life while i treat it. not to mention, once you actually get a closer look of the fish at this place you will notice dead orandas/goldfish just floating in the water. i saw multiple goldfish with popeye, swim bladder diseases, and dropsy! i also saw a betta with a really bad case of fungal infection near its mouth, it was awful. do NOT buy from this place at all if you care about your fish. i highly recommend the north dallas aquarium in carrollton. by the way, i downloaded this app and made an entire account just to get my point across that this place is so incredibly horrible. i truly care about my fish and i have been in the fish hobby a few years now and will not be coming here ever again. horrible place, absolutely disgusting, these poor creatures do not deserve this level of cruelty and unkempt illnesses.

Would totally go back. The only thing that pinged my radar in a negative way was the plant tank had a ton of Cyanobacteria. Something to keep in mind if you're looking for plants

After being warmly welcomed by Kali I spoke with Dane who was extremely knowledgeable, listened carefully to my situation, and walked me through several options without any pressure. I honestly learned more in 15 minutes talking with him in the store than I did after spending hours researching forums and groups trying to solve issues with my FX6 filter setup. It is rare to find someone who genuinely cares more about helping you succeed than simply making a sale. If you want honest advice, real expertise, and customer service that is hard to find these days, this is absolutely the place to go. Dane made sure I left confident in my decisions, and I would highly recommend Riff Reef Aquatics to anyone serious about their aquarium.

I honestly did not have any high expectations because everyone told me to go to Sharkarosa last year and that place was a little disappointing. Also people told me this place was a flop too; but they seemed to have decent reviews and tigers and that's all my kiddos cared about. Pulling in I was still having no expectations; we checked in; we had "donated" online prior to arriving so we were given a map and some simple instructions and on we were on our way. They have a ton of cats! Yes I have a love hate relationship for places like this and zoos because I feel sympathy for the animal being in a cage; however I due understand most are rescued and are alive because of places like this. But this place by far is one of the better places; it's clean; workers are constantly cleaning the habitats; the animals overall were active and not in "comatose" "depressed" state as I've seen before at other places. For the most part a lot of the habitats were very large with lots in them; so that was refreshing. I saw a ton of cats I've never seen. I think tigers are beautiful; however I was really in awe of the Lion, Lambert and then the Servals! They were just amazing. They had tigers, ligers, lions, servals, bobcats, cougars, etc. my kids really enjoyed it as well as my husband and I. The memorial wall was touching; and the gift shop is decent. I did find out they offer a feeding tour in the evenings and that's something we may check out in the future. All in all it was a great experience for us.
