It was a nice portion for an entree and was easily enough for both of us for a lighter lunch. Really delicious sweet tea so I took some to go. Small gift shop attached and tons of seating inside and expansive views of the water with a back wall of windows all around.

What an awesome little diner. This place is 67 years old and very well maintained. The ladies working inside were all very friendly. The food was fresh and very good. I can see why the locals love this place. My three kids thought is was so cool inside an original diner from the 50s. I highly recommend the turkey club and a chocolate milkshake. This diner is worth a visit at some point if your driving by. read more

Almost perfect. They need to expand their size and offer wifi cell phone service is blocked inside so you can't do business while you wait for your food. But it is what it is. Good food, fast service, cheap, doesn't get much better. read more

I've tried many of the menu items and can personally vouch for the steak, 1/2 chicken confit, kale Caesar salad, green goddess salad, chocolate chip bread pudding, and the pizzas. Whether you're a local or just visiting the area I highly recommend stopping at Bread & Butter in Onancock, VA.
