I don't like to leave bad reviews but I feel very taken advantage of. I made an appointment at this…read moreplace for an oil change. I dropped it off and went to get a coffee bc there's no place to sit. I came back an hour later and discovered they somehow think that it's ok to charge $99 for a standard car oil change. That's $25 MORE than I've been charged at the dealership! And the dealership offers me cookies & coffee and has a nice place to sit. This is insane. Moreover, they didn't ask for permission to do a tire rotation, they just did one and charged $40 for that. In my experience it is customary for the tech to call and say, "hey this is what we found and what we recommend, what would you like us to do?" I had budgeted $75 and walked out paying $155. I don't know if their work is quality, but no oil change is worth twice the price. I can say I will never go back.

not one to review but should have left a review years ago but thought it would never happen again…read more 1st- Over charge on servicing and lie about what they do to it, over $600 JUST to get serviced 2nd- Was almost sent home with wrong jetski after i had to point out it wasn't mine multiple times,no biggie stuff happens... When it was hooked up after the summarization i realized they did not put on the drain plug, after they put it on i brought it home (short trip) and realized it was not even on tightly i pulled it right off with no effort. 3rd Recently bought a part since nobody else had it in stock, went to pick up and i asked to open it, was asked "do you not trust me?" most likely joking and i explained i wanted to see if it came with part number " NEOPRENE SEAL 293200134 " gasket/seal the end of wear ring to seal either the base or pump. was told there was no gasket/seal and was sent home. after pulling jetski apart and taking out the old wear ring as i expected there was a rubber gasket/seal that also needed to be replaced and ordered stalling riding for almost another week i would not recommend servicing, buying, or anything from these guys. even seen it go downhill since i've been around in 2020, just hire random kids from around town to wrench on equipment they sell. if you're looking for a new place to get serviced bring it to sportline in queensbury ny, AKA dax power sports

Alpin Haus RV - No trim molding on slide valence. And the tiny black dots in the white head liner board are the raw black staple heads.

On a trip across upstate New York, our inverter in our 2018 RoadTrek CS shorted out. When we…read morecontacted KS2 (the manufacturer of the inverter) to arrange a pick up of a new unit they suggested Alpin Haus. Mind you it was late afternoon on Thursday. I called Alpin Haus and Randy Robb the assistant service manager (didn't know this until much later) was on the other end of the line. After explaining the situation I asked if there was any way we could get in and have it looked at. Incredibly he said sure, bring it in and if you're dry camping you can even stay in our lot. The inverter did in fact short out and we were without AC but had DC. Chris the expert electronic wizard diagnosed the issue and we were stuck for the weekend in upstate NY. We enjoyed our weekend (minus AC current) but with DC current we were able to keep the food cold, the fan running, interior coach lights working and we had a great trip to the Adirondacks. On Monday we returned to Alpin Haus and Chris was out, my greatest fear since we had developed a sincere trust with him and when Randy said that he had the other wizard on it, Big Frank stepped in. Seamless doesn't come close to how good this team of mechanics are at AH. The big man got us dialed in and we hit the road that evening with the van back to work. These people are the real deal. In the era of Big Box everything, it takes a dealer that cares and treats everyone like family to show that there is still the chance that the end is not in sight for a local dealer with great staff, great inventory and people and dog friendly to help a traveler find their way down the road. My sincere gratitude to Randy, Chris and Frank and the entire staff and team at Alpin Haus for helping us get through this difficult situation. Y'all are the best.

So thank you for the call, quick reply & friendly service. Thank you Ronald V.

I'd love to be writing a glowing review, because it seems like Cheify, the owner, is a great guy,…read morevery friendly and personable. Alas, calling the work they did half-assed is an insult to people who only have half an ass. Slipshod, shoddy, indifferent, incomplete - these are the words that best describe their "efforts." To start - the good: Chiefy came to our house, took a look at our trailer (which had been sitting for five years) and said we had a hole in the roof from a fallen branch and he said it would cost about $2,000 - $2,500 to fix. Reader, it did not - it ended up costing $3,000, or as he put it "Just what I said it would cost." Ummm, what?? We explained we were going full time and wanted EVERYTHING checked out COMPLETELY because again, we were going to be living in this thing and repairs would be exponentially more difficult on the road. He said he'd test "all the systems," and we felt really confident that we were in good hands. In the end, he fixed the roof, installed new tires and wheel bearings, and flushed the winterization crap out of the system. So much for the good. When we got the trailer back, five days before we had to leave, we looked things over and immediately discovered the awning wouldn't open. When we called, he said that "his guys" had opened it a little to get to the roof part. What's really interesting about this is that "his guys" also took the time to replace the pine needles that had been caught in the awning brackets, as seen in the photo. We really appreciated that they took the time to make it look like nothing had been done with the awning when in fact - oh, wait, yeah, nothing was done with the awning. Another thing we'd told him about were the stabilizer jacks. The rear set was having trouble extending and may have been bent. We said we wanted those checked and replaced if needed. His response "his guys" said they went up and down fine. Well, they must have the magic touch because no one since has been able to get them to go ALL THE WAY down. Maybe "his guys" partly extended them and called it all good? Next up - the runaway trailer brake actuator cable was frayed to the point of failure (again, see pictures). Apparently checking this is not a part of "checking all the systems." Side note - "his guys" left the light on the tongue jack on, killing the brand new batteries and necessitating a jump before we could even hitch the trailer up, so we know they were at least in the vicinity of the cable at some point in time. On to the AC - apparently another system that's not a part of the systems that get checked - it is continually short cycling and needs a tune up, per the other RV tech we spoke with to fix the issue, who explained the problem was that the coils needed to be cleaned. Next, the slide outs - the larger of the two squeaks badly when extending and retracting. Maybe it just needs some lube (which we bought) or maybe it's something more, like some misalignment? Who knows - apparently the slideouts are not one of the "systems" tested. Finally, a minor issue - the grey and black tanks were supposedly flushed as part of the whole de-winterizing. When we connected the sewer hose at the first RV park (after using the bathroom a couple of times), we discovered - surprise! - they didn't shut the valve, so some lovely raw sewage dumped out. All this is particularly frustrating since we talked to him quite a bit about how we were going full-time, and one would expect that a mechanic, knowing that, would be particularly thorough. This was clearly not the case. Also, while "all systems" were supposedly checked, we never got a checklist or anything like you get for an auto inspection detailing what was done and what needed to be fixed. We just got a bill for the work that was done, and faulty assurances that everything had been checked. Like I said, he seems like a great guy, and I find it hard to believe he is lying deliberately. Maybe "his guys" are telling him things that aren't true, but without any kind of checklist and accountability, we'll never know. If you have a specific issue that needs to be fixed, the work that was done seems high quality, and he had pictures that they took during the process. For general tune ups and inspections though, I would definitely go somewhere else. Caveat emptor. TL;DR - We asked for the trailer to be THOROUGHLY checked because we're going to be living in it for a year. We got adequate work on some of the things we specifically asked about. We cannot say anything beyond that was actually checked, despite claims to the contrary, because we are continually discovering problems that would have been caught by a real inspection. EDIT - Both of the small exhaust fans in the bedroom and bathroom are also not working.
