Wonderful service with great selection! They even delivered to my house up Mt. Hamilton in East San Jose. I was late but my driver, Alex, even waited for me to get home. They also added some sweet treats!

Most dispensaries would just wait until you show up and then tell you, so the fact that they actually called ahead was already great customer service FRFR !!! When I got there, the budtender really tried to help me shout out to the bud tender for that my apologies tho I forgot her name . !!! find other options, including cheaper brands and similar products. Luckily they ended up finding the exact one I originally came for. What really stood out to me was that since at first they thought they wouldn't be able to satisfy my order, they gave me a free all-in-one vape on them so I can try it Who does that?? I've never seen another dispensary give a free product just to make sure the customer leaves happy In all the years I've been coming here, I've only had one small issue and they solved it immediately. I did always get good service and products. Yesterday I took advantage of a really good deal (I think it was BOGO for a penny) to order two AIO and four cartridges. It came out to $66. I was stoked. I got a notification that my order was received and that I would be notified when it was ready to be picked up. I didn't hear anything by the end of the day or today so I decided to just go down there. Oh, they don't fill the orders, I was told. You have to just come down there and get your stuff because they don't notify you. Not only that, if you don't come the same day, your order goes away. No way to see what you ordered. Disappointed and I'll admit very frustrated, I got one AIO and two cartridges and it was $66. Half as much product for the same price because they wouldn't honor yesterday's sale today. Even though they never notified me in advance of their arbitrary rules. Might be time to find a new dispensary.

Having an endless menu is a liability when there is zero guidance to navigate it. This is also why so many people remain intimidated by cannabis instead of embracing its benefits. You only get one chance at a first impression, and they last a lifetime. Embarc has a great spot and a solid location, but the service is hit or miss based on the budtender. Some are nice and don't mind providing an educational experience; others treat it as transactional only. This is unacceptable. Case in point with Dom. I had a friend in town from NC and the experience was less than desirable. No effort to engage, no curiosity about what we were looking for, just going through the motions. Management needs to learn to treat all customers as discrete and unique individuals. Not everyone walks in already knowing what they want. Having an expansive menu is a liability when there is zero guidance to navigate it. The "analysis paralysis" caused by too many options--paired with a lack of expert help--is exactly why we left and went elsewhere. This is exactly why so many people are intimidated and don't embrace the full benefits of cannabis. Juva is right up the street and Airfield is right up the road. The competition is real. Invest in your people. Train every budtender to meet customers where they are, not just move them through a line. That is what turns a first timer into a regular. Embarc has the location and the selection. Now match it with the service.

Their website said credit card accepted in-person, just to deny it, they didn't allow payment in cash only debit. On top of wasting 4 hours of my time, they would've charged me differently, they added fees, tips and taxes AFTER IT TELLS YOU THE TOTAL. Even with the online total the price CHANGED IN PERSON WHICH IS VERY CONCERNING. The online prepayment required a $1 tip automatically it was actually MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHER OPTIONS(stated online that prepayment would make things easier, therefore cheaper, but the in-person option was cheaper) I could DoorDash from a whole different city, not having to worry about price changes. At first, I assumed it was a one-time glitch, so I waited and made several more purchases at different times. However, the extra $9 charge appeared every single time. This doesn't seem like a random error--it looks like a recurring problem with the payment feature. Please review and fix this issue, as it leads to overcharging and makes the service unreliable for online transactions.

The budtender, whom looks like a hispanic female was overtly rude and her behavior felt discriminatory. She has a dermal in her face as well. Her tonality and passive aggressive demeanor towards me because my card was not working was inappropriate. Their tone of voice was hostile and unprofessional throughout the entire interaction. Come to find out, she was ill prepared with her knowledge and didn't let me know it would charge $5 on top of the amount it said. She proceeded to tell me their POS systems were new. This behavior made me feel disrespected and unwanted in the store. A business that serves the public should have staff trained to treat all customers with respect and professionalism. I hope the management addresses this issue to ensure a welcoming environment for everyone especially women of color.
