Very Dishonest Financial person during the purchase experience inflating numbers and manipulating me, It's been about 6 weeks and they have still not provided me with my permanent license plates after paying for it, and my temp plates have expired over a week ago. The vehicle literally now has 93 miles on it and I cannot drive it as it constantly has a dead battery and I have jumped it at least 6 times and also charged the battery several times. I won't bash this establishment, but I will say that for the amount of money that they have charged me for the labor, they should have taken the time to fix what they removed from my vehicle. I also noticed that my console had a burn and I know I didn't put it there, because I don't smoke. Just after I received my car back they didn't change the oil sticker that was there when I previously got the oil changed, they also didn't reset my oil percentage, so I had to call to find out if they did. The executive manager emailed me to thank me for giving them my business but when I told him the situation he never replied at all. I have the maintenance and "bumper to bumper" coverages. Made an appointment to get my oil change done and check my car out for the death wobble. I specified that I would need a loaner vehicle. I was told since it would be in the morning that there should be no problem getting a loaner. I get there and they say they're out of loaners but they have rental cars I can rent. Its ridiculous they wouldn't use their rental cars for loaners for people who paid the extra money for their service plans. Jeep pushes all these maintenance plans on you when you're buying their vehicles but they can't meet their end of the bargain and provide the loaner car. What a disappointing practice. read more

Don't ever special order parts. I ordered some parts for my Jeep. Not a big deal you might think, especially when they are only ten bucks each. So they finally come in, and I go to pick them up and when I do, I'm told that they are only available in packs of 4 each. And that if I want them, I must take all 8 parts. I said that I only want 1 each, and am told that because they are not a commonly sold part that I must take them all. But they will give me a deal on all 8 of them, It will only cost me 40 dollars instead of 20, How reasonable of them. They said that when they looked up the parts that it showed them that you could order just on at a time. But when they came in it was in packs of 4. They don't want to be stuck with them, so they make me buy them all. If I had know this to begin with, I would have just bought them singly online and waited for them to arrive via UPS or FED-EX. But because I couldn't install them until today all was good or so I thought. They even said that they tried calling me. Funny thing is that they have both my cell and my house phone. Guess what... nothing on the call logs, or any messages either. The right thing to do would have been to order them and forced the parts depot to take the extra parts back, as the Chrysler computer system is wrong. I guess that they can't concern themselves with doing the right thing. And people wonder why mail order is doing so well. read more

Superb doesn't begin to describe my experience here! Courtney was outstanding in her communication and follow up so much so that I had given up hope on finding a manual transmission but she remembered me and caught me a day before I was about to lease another car. We made an appointment and she handed me to John Bogdan who was just as fantastic. The entire process was seamless, they grounded by old lease and 3 days later drove off the lot in my brand new Jeep. I can't say enough good things about this experience and everyone was kind, helpful and honest. The finance department even saved me some money which was a pleasant surprise! This entire place is one big joke. First off, I know several people who have been duped by this place (can't write on here, since litigation is pending) however- I can tell you my story: Purchased my Jeep from their Wallingford location. 2010 Jeep Patriot. Don't get me wrong, I love my car. However, I do not like their service department, nor their lies and BS. They must truly believe that I am stupid. I purchased my Jeep w/. 44k miles on it a few yrs ago. At 70k miles, it began to buck, as if it was running out of gas. I thought maybe it was my transmission? Well, brought it in for service (still covered under warrantee) and they fixed the throttle body, which they said was "Bad" and needed to be fixed. Which should "solve the problem." About a month later, the issue came back- still the same problem. I was on vacation and a friend brought my car in for the 2nd time for service. I got it back when I came home, and in the mail they sent a letter saying "COULD NOT RE-CREATE CUSTOMER'S ISSUE WITH VECHICLE"................. Yet again, when I got home- same issue. I brought it back for the 3RD TIME this time to the Wlfd location where I bought it. Clearly, like a mad woman asking them to fix it or I am not picking it up. They tell me to bring it in Friday, at 7 am. Spoke to a girl (I will leave her name out) who said her "Transmission Specialist" doesn't come in until Friday. I tell her Friday works for me. Did not get a confirmation call, or reminder on Thursday- so I called them. They tell me "we are sorry, you were supposed to be here today" ????? I explicitly told them when I spoke to them that Thursday didn't work, and I would have to bring it Friday. I then went off on a verbal rampage on how BS their entire place is, and if they can't even keep an appointment date/time why would I ever bring my car in there for service ? (only because my car is still under warrantee..) After being pissed off enough at this point, I bring it in Friday. They tell me Fri afternoon, my car has a clear transmission issue. However, their "transmission specialist" (remember, the guy who isn't in until Friday) doesn't come in until MONDAY... ???? They keep my car the entire weekend, and no offer of a rental- "they must diagnose it with an issue, or else you can't get a rental" is what I was told- Monday comes: They call me and tell me my car doesn't have a transmission issue. However, it has a bad coil, and spark plugs. And this is not covered under warrantee, it is considered general maintenance. LOL- I ask them , how much are you going to charge me to fix it? $900.00. LOL LOL LOL I tell them, I am coming to pick my Jeep up, I will pay them their "diagnostic" fee, and then be on my way and bring it to my own mechanic. I bring it to my mechanic, and he fixes it- for less than $120.00. So, this is my huge SCREW YOU EXECUTIVE JEEP NISSAN. You won't get me.... and good luck on your lawsuits that you have pending... I bought a used car here and had a mediocre experience. The sales team can be a bit slimy. I experienced a rough hand off from my salesman who went on vacation. He passed me on to Davey Jones who failed to answer my calls and emails when I was 95% of the way in making a purchase. He single-handedly almost lost the sale based on his inability to return calls. I complained about this and tried to gain some concessions on price as a result. The sales team refused to budge on price and when I asked for maybe some credits toward future service the response I got was "well you're not going to be living in the area so I'm not sure what good that does you". Yeah Davey, real smooth. Overall, if they have the exact car you're looking for, go in there and be pushy with them. The finance department is horrible. I purchased a 2018 Grand Cherokee a month ago. I was told upon picking this vehicle up on 8/18/2018 that the dealership would cover the first month's payment because I was picking it up late due to issues the dealership had with transport. It is now 9/20/2018, over a month later and Executive has yet to pay the first month to my finance account. The salesperson will unprofessionally hound you for days and days afterward to fill out surveys and tell you to put a perfect score- when the experience was NOT perfect. What a complete joke. My biggest regret was choosing this dealership to purchase a car from. I would never recommend this dealership. We leased a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Executive Jeep. Their salesperson registered our car in North Haven where the dealership is located and not in the town we reside in Old Saybrook. When we received our first yearly tax bill, it was exceptionally high. North Haven has a much higher mill rate, than old saybrook. When we realized what had happened we immediately contacted Executive jeep and was assured the matter would be corrected. We made numerous calls sent emails and even personally visited the dealership only to be ignored. Frank Perrelli personally assured us the matter would be corrected. As did Ralph Cappola and Mr Kabakoffi. Their mistake has cost us hundreds of dollars and many days of aggravation. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. Edward Lane read more

My last lease was through them I got a quote in one day and man was it a deal and I had the best experience in the world. So I decided to go through them again man what a complete different experience this time. It took me 2 months of texting for a quote and the person taking care of me finally gave me a quote and when I responded to agree with the quote they texted they left the company and I would deal with another dealer. This in turn was a bit of a runaround. Finally get the general manager who gives me the numbers with and without trade in of my vehicle. So I put a hold on the car with a deposit. While waiting to be able to pick it up I'm told a new rate is out the payment would go up 20 dollars a month and without trade in it goes up 4000 dollars. So I get mad and say I don't want the car at that price an 30 minutes later the car is sold from under me. I can bet any money they got a much better deal on the side and pushed me out from purposely. Now I'm told prices went up on the wrangler 4xe and I'm stuck with nothing. Don't use this place at all if you don't want the run around and to be strung along to only be without the vehicle you wanted. I'm not saying they are bad evil people but man the ball was dropped and incompetence shined through on this transaction. I was also willing to drive 110 miles to do business with them again to only get shafted. In this whole time I could have ordered it elsewhere and got a better deal with more options but I wanted the instock vehicle and to do business with a place that treated me so great last time. Looks like I'll be ordering a FORD BRONCO for the wife's birthday instead. the worst part is I told her she was getting her dream wrangler and now she's expecting it and I don't know how to break it to her that it turned out to be a nightmare. I can only hope they read this and realize they screwed me and learn to not do this again to other costumers. Mind you I never ever write bad reviews. In the end, they are good guys! Lost the chip key to my 2004 Jeep Cherokee. Initially they followed the wrong diagnostic workup and misdiagnosed the problem, and they told me I needed some expensive repairs to the computer skim module, totaling ~ $550, which did not fix the problem. The problem was fixed after the called Jeep STAR (which they should have done sooner, before performing the $550 of parts and labor) -- they learned they needed to use a different chip key part. I reviewed the service notes and was concerned that they were billing me for extra work that shouldn't have been done in the first place , so I spoke with a service desk manager at ANOTHER dealership, who helped me understand the mistakes that Executive Jeep made, and helped me understand that I was owed a refund. It took several attempts before they'd let me speak with the service desk supervisor at Executive, but eventually Frank got back to me and helped fix the situation. In the end, they refunded me the cost of the unnecessary parts and labor. Wish they'd been more honest up-front, but I understand they have to try to make money where they can . read more

Disability discrimination! Salesperson, Tyler Walker, informed me that I must come in to their dealership to discuss a price on a vehicle. I explained that it would be too difficult for me to make the long trip due to disability and pain, and that I would prefer to communicate via e-mail to come to a mutual price on a car. He paid no attention to my concern and said, no! He insisted that I must come in to see the manager to work out a price. The only options he gave me were to make the trip in, or be removed from their mailing list! I chose the latter! This is truly shocking customer service. read more

There is very little room for nuance in survey feedback, but I will try afford some here. I will rate my experience here in three phases: 1. Initial Service: I arrived at the dealership with my cousin (both Black males in sweats - as warranted by the elements). We walked around the showroom for a few minutes, then stood between the path to the restroom and entrance to the room where we saw some individuals (sales rep, I learned, sitting and walking around around). We stood there for about 5-7 minutes and watched in amazement, and with a little amusement, as several individuals walked by us without even saying hello. Eventually, one of the guys (White), who had previously walked by us at least twice, stopped and asked "Is anyone helping you guys?". I said no. He said he'd go get someone. About 10 minutes elapsed from the time of our arrival in the showroom to the point of talking to someone about my interest in a car. 2. Sales Rep: About 2 minutes after I was asked if anyone is helping us, a Black sales rep came out to speak with us. She was friendly and polite; her calm and gentle demeanor was reassuring, so I quickly became comfortable engaging with her about my interests. She braved the cold weather to show me various options, and exercised immense patience as I changed my mind multiple times about what I wanted in a car. For me, Tanneka epitomizes what it means to treat your customers (or potential customer) with dignity and respect. So, despite my initial impressions of, and experience with, Executive Nissan, I was still inclined to purchase a car there because of my experience with Tanneka. 3. Closing the Deal: Tanneka introduced me to Pedro (I am not sure what his title is, but he is tasked with taking care of the financial aspects of the deal). Pedro was initially cordial in our interaction. His attitude dramatically changed, however, when I informed him that I will be financing the car directly though my bank (which, in full disclosure, also has a direct relationship with the dealership). I am a writer, and it's hard for me to put my experience with Pedro into words. This man was condescending, dismissive, and blatantly disrespectful. I will not question his competence, but the attitude he consistently displayed (after I disclosed my decision to go through my bank) does make me wonder about the qualities Executive Nissan looks for in employees in such roles... does the dealership prioritize competence at the expense of basis decency; at the expense of basis customer service etiquette? IN SUM: As a professional Black male, I have lived a dichotomous life... I get "hellos" and "may I help you-s" far more quickly when I walk into businesses dressed up in my work attire, than when I am wearing sweats. So it did not surprise me that it took 10 minutes before being helped at Executive Nissan. I did end up buying a new SUV there, but only because of my experience with the sales rep, Tanneka. My next car-purchase is fast approaching, as my 16-year old daughter is growing impatient. But I would never think about returning to Executive, nor would I recommend them to anyone - unless Tanneka is the only person with whom you will interact. #NeverAgain read more

I used to be a fan. The last 3 visits have been horrific. Service staff did not have knowledge of my vehicle (a vehicle they sell). I scheduled my vehicle for service covered under the warranty but had to cancel due to weather conditions. The call to re-schedule was painful. All the explaining I had to do to convey what work needed to be done. It should have been easy to pull up my name and address and boom there's the most recent documentation and all the information necessary to re-schedule. I used to rave about the service department. I do not recommend this dealership for maintenance and repairs for any vehicle out of warranty. I would caution you to look elsewhere. I had all of the maintenance for my Jeep Grand Cherokee done here for two years. Every visit, I felt that the repair costs were higher than a private shop, and they didn't even use MOPAR oil for my oil changes. I often felt pressured by Jason Meyer to pay for unnecessary repairs. I decided to leave after a particularly bad incident when I got a service light for the transfer case. I was suspicious that Jason was trying to sell me an unnecessary repair, and when I declined to have the repair done that day (saying I would go do some research and come back if I decided to move forward), Jason got pushy and tried to scare me into the repair ("It's dangerous to even drive off the lot, you need this repair NOW.") I left and got a second opinion at East Rock Auto Repair in New Haven - and it turns out my suspicions were right, and Jason was being dishonest with me. Now I have all my maintenance done at East Rock Auto - I can trust that they have my best interest at heart. read more

I bought a certified pre owned vehicle from this dealership. Though I understand this is a "buyer beware" situation, when I got it home I found small dents in the rear of the vehicle. They were clearly known about by the sales person. While I agree strictly speaking it isn't her duty to make me aware of what I should be looking for to begin with, if I owned a dealership, I would use complete transparency and let the prospective customer know of any flaws. In that way I ultimately protect the customer and this should be a customer centric experience. I recently fought off Covid in the ICU and was left with fall out as most afflicted are. Covid fog made it hard to think straight during the transaction and I trusted the dealership and sales person to protect my interests. But they solely protected theirs. It's a strange way to do things as I was interested in four other vehicles. Why not be straight up about known issues? Instead I got home with a basically new car 2020 only to feel angry and disillusioned. So the day after buying this car and complaining about the dents the dealership called to tell me they can "fix it for cost" and the price is over $400. I personally will never walk through the doors of any business that is at all "predatory" as this one has certainly proven itself to be. read more

The worst customer experience I have ever had. I bought a Jeep here in December (certified pre owned) and in early June a problem came about that would have started without me knowing it before I got the car. Something that should NEVER have worn down that quickly, but was of course "not under warranty" and it was going to be a $1000 bill when I had had ONE oil change so far, meaning I had barely driven the car! So much for the certified inspection that is supposed to catch everything before they sell you the car. After contacting them and asking them to please fix it, they put us through hoops, wasted our time, ignored phone calls completely, salesmen, managers, you name it. In the end they wouldn't do a thing for us! Not even share just some of the cost. They would not do what was RIGHT even though when I bought the car they acted like the nicest people.
