Once again Ryan is the "Viking Refrigerator Whisperer." Our Viking French Door Refrigetator again had a problem (water dispenser in the door not working, water coming out the bottom of the door) & I again called for Ryan instead of the Home Warranty I also pay for (because I have to wait days for a call back to get an appointment & then more days for the appointment), and he diagnosed it in a minute & fixed it in about 15 more. I almost hate reviewing Ryan/Executive Appliance, if you have a Viking Refrigerator he is the only place to go. The service is not cheap but you will get your refrigerator fixed correctly by a person that knows what he's doing & isn't going to take advantage of you. He is honest & very professional. These people were recommended by Ferguson Appliances to fix my Viking Oven. The door would not close. They charged me $375 just for the service call. They recommended new springs and then I never heard from them again. When I finally called them back they said I needed to pay for the springs before they could order them and that it would be $700. They would also chrg another $375 to return. We live in Chula Vista not France. My husband went online and bought the springs for under $300.00. We called Nutter Appliances and the serviceman said the problem was not the springs at all but a misalignment of the door. He installed the new kit for properly aligning the door and the new springs (we already had them) and diagnosed another problem with the oven not browning properly, he ordered the part on the spot and his total fee was $382 and he was here a little over an hour. read more

I have a Broan downdraft exhaust unit that had a failed exhaust fan motor. Fortunately, this happened when the unit was under warranty. besides talking on the phone to someone who "works from home" but sounds like their desk is in a barn (roosters crowing/dogs barking) so loud it was difficult to hear. They were good with text alerting me of their appointment time. Next the tech came with only a bottle of ice maker cleaner in his hand. My machine was working fine, but was then told my motor was needing to be replaced and he couldn't complete the cleaning. A little suspect since he asked for my Wi-Fi (was he googling how to clean my machine?). it's a toss up but I won't call them again. read more

Update: Executive appliance came back out, and the technician was able to identify the issue and fix it within 10 minutes. It was a wire that was pulled loose when putting the dash panel back on. I was not charged. Thanks to Zach and Executive for making good. I want to repeat, if you have a viking range, this is really the only company that has the trained staff to work on them. If I could put a "0", I would. Terrible company. They didn't diagnosed ALL of the problems on my Viking Fridge in one shot. Instead, charged me $175, 2 times over 2 months, to create more work. In the end I was out $1000.00 for a simple repair another company could do for $300. It is better to use other companies even if not approved by Viking. I had a light switch replaced on my VentaHood in August. I had to pay $99.78 (included shipping and handling) for the part prior to the technician coming out to replace the switch. When the technician arrived, I showed him that the cost of the switch online (OEM item) is only $7.64. The technician called the office and they agreed to refund me $71.53, stating that they had no idea why I was charged so much. I have been waiting for that refund ever since. I have called and emailed on many times. On November 16th, I received a text stating that I would receive a refund of $203.15. I texted back asking how and when this would happen. Tech was excellent. My issue was once diagnosed (electronic board in wine cooler), was informed a board needed to be ordered. Tech left (15 min diagnostic) and that last I heard. Called twice over next 7 days. No return on calls. Finally got hold of young lady and she was able to call me back and informed me that I'd need to pay 50% for board and service call which I did. Then nothing for another 2-3 weeks until I called and tracked where board was. Finally received board, another week to schedule install. Tech was excellent as I mentioned, just frustrated with no communication from Executive Appliance after numerous calls. Would not recommend for this reason read more

This company installed most of my appliances almost a year ago (vent hood, fridge, and oven) and things went well. They were on time and all of the appliances were installed. However, about 10 months later, one side of the vent hood started getting loose and falling off the ceiling. I've tried to get in contact with their installation department for the past 6 weeks and haven't heard a single response. I've even tried calling their service department in hopes to get a hold of someone and luckily I did. However, they told me that I needed to talk to the installation department and that they'd leave a message with them and they should call me asap the next morning. Unsurprisingly, no call. It's now been another two weeks. If you're looking for a reliable installation company, I suggest you keep looking. read more

Everything was great with them. Communication was great. The fridge had completely stopped cooling and they came out the morning after we first contacted them. Ryan was personable and communicative. He ended up coming back that same afternoon to replace the inverter that sadly wasn't the whole story, although that wasn't their fault. They were able to find the heat exchanger and Ryan came back the next day to finish what turned into a multiple hour repair. Highly professional and so far everything is working great.
