David's knowledge, skills, and professionalism deserve 5 stars. I had a broken belt on the washer and a clogged dishwasher, and he fixed both in about an hour. The cost, however, was outrageous! $300 per appliance, and the only part that was needed was a belt (which I was charged $106 for). The labor fees were insane, but if I declined to follow through with the repairs, I would be on the hook for the $198 diagnostic fee ($99 per appliance even though it was the same visit). Just to clarify, the service fee is NOT applied toward the total as I was told on the phone- it's simply waived, so don't expect to have the amount removed from the final bill. This was by far the most expensive appliance repair company I've ever used, and as much as I liked David's work, it's a one and done for me. read more

Max saves the day! I have dual ovens that haven't been working for months. Error code indicated a fan needed replacing. The first company I called replaced the fan. Still got an error. Then replaced the circuit board. Still got the error. They basically told me they don't know what the problem is and gave up. I then called Davis Appliance. Max came out and figured out that the new fan was missing a piece that connects to the circuit board that was removed by the tech from the previous company. And that did the trick. Our oven is old, and the size is not very common, so only a very few new ovens would fit our cabinet opening, which is why it was really important that we were able to get the oven (broiler) fixed. This company is so responsive. They called me back same day, set up an inspection for my dryer that stopped working. They have a $99 inspection fee that is waived if you opt to get the repair done through them. Our 11 year old Dacor double oven wasn't preheating the upper oven correctly. Max came out and diagnosed the problem in minutes. He ordered the part and returned a week and a half later.
