His diagnosis was accurate and made sense, and he explained the issue clearly. The repair cost he quoted was $1800, which is higher than I expect, so I'm still deciding whether to move forward with the repair. However, compared to another company I hired before-who tried to charge me way too high-OC Appliance Doctor was much more honest and straightforward. Even though I'm unsure about fixing the fridge at that price, I'm giving him 5 stars because he did the right job, took his time, and gave me the correct diagnosis.

My refrigerator had been on the fritz for about a week. I tried to troubleshoot the best I could…read morebut no amount of cleaning the coils and resetting the fridge was fixing my issue (fridge was no longer keeping cool but freezer worked perfectly). I looked for help on Yelp and came across the numerous positive reviews for Marcello and figured I'd reach out to see if he could help get my issue fixed. I try to work with people who are a small business and thought Marcello sounded like a good gamble. I contacted Marcello in the late afternoon of Wednesday and he came later that same day to diagnose the problem. Showed up on time, figured out the issue, and told me he would order the part in the morning and come back the next day to fix it. Literally exactly what happened. No fluffs, no upselling, cleaned up after himself, was professional on the phone and in person, and just told me what to expect and that's how he delivered. Service call was $75 and it would be applied towards the repair. I knew that was fair based on cost of gas, travel time, his knowledge of appliance repair, and the time to diagnose and repair the problem. My parts cost was roughly $200 and since I paid in cash I received a little discount as well. I would absolutely recommend Marcello to my family, neighbors and friends. His contact info is saved into my phone now so I will for sure give him a call for any future appliance repairs. He's definitely 5 stars . Thank you Marcello!!

Everything went extremely well! I'm a returning customer and very happy with Tim's customer…read moreservice, knowledge, and technical skills. I initially called on AT Appliance in 2020 to service my refrigerator motor. When my refrigerator was leaking water this time (6 years later) I found my previous receipt of service and called AT Appliance again. They were very responsive and scheduled me for next day service. Tim called me before his arrival and was able to repair the leak and also returned today to replace the water dispenser part that I requested. Looking at my previous receipt from 2020 it turned out Tim was the same technician that helped me back in 2020. I was pleased to realize this and also to experience the same quality work that was done back then. Tim really went above and beyond to deliver reliable quality service. His work is honest with transparency, clean and organized. I appreciate reading reviews of other customer's true experiences and wanted to make sure to write this review to share with others that are looking for a creditable appliance service. I highly recommend Tim's service.

I had an issue with a GE PFE29. Turns out the power inverter to the compressor had broken, so the…read morecompressor itself was not able to function and the fridge/freezer were not staying cold. I called around on Saturday and Philip at PKC was the only one who was able to make it there on the same day. He was responsive to both call and text. I suspect that the Yelp area is not quite accurate, since Philip mentioned that he covers over into Norwalk as well, but certainly on both sides of the LA and Orange counties. He estimated that he would arrive between 6 and 7 PM, and did so at 6:45 (still in the time window). During the visit he was very direct, no-nonsense, quickly identified the inverter issue, had a replacement part on hand, and was able to install and confirm functioning in about 45 minutes. The final cost was $350, in line with his estimate, and a bit below some quoted prices I got from other vendors. I was quite satisfied with the communication, ability to identify and repair the issue, and overall value. I have mentioned Philip to my neighbors in case they have an issue. Philip is able to service other appliances (except for AC units, though he knows someone else who specializes in that).

One was a controller for the compressor, and the other was some sort of circuit board. I did not trust the repair person so I paid the $89 visit and declined the suggested service. We then found PKC online and called them 10 minutes later (5PM yesterday). He said he would be at our home in 40 minutes. Phillip arrived within the time promised and within minutes determined the issue was the compressor controller. He had it with him, installed it, and our fridge was up and running. The other circuit board did not need replacing. I asked him if the coils needed cleaning. He looked at them and said, "they are clean, no need." Total cost $450 which included the $50 visit. Done. Fair, Highly recommend Phillip. Will be calling him for all appliance needs from now on.

My lower oven wouldnt work so I called OC appliance repair Doon to be known as APLCE in September. Today November 29th the repairs have been completed. In September we were loving in another country and Joshua went above and beyond to help us out. He told us what we were up against in the beginning. He gave us a 2 tiered quote based on the probabilities and his quote was spot on. He searched for months to find the parts. Several parts deliveries did not pan out but Joshua was on top of things. Once he received the correct parts Joshua performed the repairs within 48 hours. The work was done professionally and responsibly, Joshua took precautions to protect the hardwood floors, cabinets and surroundings. He was very neat, courteous and mindful the entire time. Upon completion Joshua told me that he noticed a break in the cabinet and took complete responsibility. The thing is, tne break was there before Joshua began the job. The parts turned out to be more expensive than his initial quote and Joshua made sure to come to an agreement that satisfied us both. I was very impressed with the work ethic and level of responsibility. APLCE will definitely be my only choice.
