The 100.00 minimum that they tell you applies to the service total - in fact does not. Caveat emptor

Had this company come out for a service call on my Viking oven. The service man diagnosed the issue (Friday) and said he would contact the manufacturers and call me on Monday to set the appointment to fix the problem. This is now over a week later and have not heard from them since. Wow. What a great customer service company. Viking gave me the number of Appliance Masters of Southern California in Santa Fe Springs. Guess I'll give them a call......... read more

So.. after having 2 diff independents to work on my Viking Fridge with NO LUCK!! I bit the bullet and called Executive as they are a Viking appl. authorized repair facility. I will admit I cringed a bit when I was told min. service call is 100.00 which is almost double everyone else.. Repairman showed at house 3 hours after I made apptmt. right on the time that was promised. Instantly new what the issue was. gave me a quote, which seemed fair, and fixed the problem! Fingers crossed the repair will work...and I will have no more issues with fridge. highly recommend this company. The ole saying is you get what you pay for!! so far, truer words never spoken!! read more

Tech was poorly trained, customer service reps were arrogant, price was extremely high and they demand to get paid when the problem was not fixed due to missing parts. They also mark up the parts 200-300% than retail. There were no management level people to talk to. My dissatisfaction stopped at the customer service reps who will give you a lesson instead of bounding your voice to the upper level. I asked the names of the upper level and left messages with the reps but neither Zach nor Greg didn't call back. For example: the labor to replace the evaporator of Subzero (part was under warranty)was $575 plus brazing and freon of $91.00 If you need service for Decor products, my suggestion is to call some one else instead. Good luck! Frustrated Client. read more

Called Executive Appliance to come and fix my Viking fridge. Water was not hooked up and the lower pull-out freezer drawer was not working right. The guys showed up on time, were very polite and efficient, and did an excellent job of hooking up the water. With the door, one of the wheels had come off and was missing, so that did not get completed. Later that day the tech called me back and told me they had a wheel at the shop and that they would be in the area tomorrow and that they could come back and put it on and all it would cost would be the trip change of $90. Now, I had already just paid $130 for them to come out to fix the freezer and hookup the water. Now they wanted me to pay $90 to come out and finish the job. I asked to speak to the manager, but no luck. He won't take my calls (person answering says he is "in a meeting" every time I call. It seems to me that if you tell a service person what you need fixed, and they come out to fix it, and they don't have the correct part with them and have to come back, you should not get charged for another trip. read more

I have used them before for service and that is the only reason I am giving them two stars. I have now called them 7 times to have my fridge removed and I have yet to have a call back from Kevin. I was told yesterday that he was in and that I should receive a call within 5 to 10 min back. Now more than 24 hours later not a call back. I will never use them again. read more

I didn't know anything about this business other than someone said to call them when he couldn't help me to remove my built in refrigerator so I call them and they were so nice and very very reasonably price (so much better than sears). This is a family owned business and I would use them again and would recommend them. read more

Sometimes I get a little frustrated dealing with the appointment scheduling part of this business, but something recently happened that has made me a real loyalist! My sub zero was icing up, and a technician was sent out. He worked on he unit, but a week later I had the same issue. Ryan came the second time and replaced a heating unit. All was good for about 2 weeks, and then the refrigerator started to not cool. I was beyond frustrated, especially when it began to look like I would not be able to get anyone out that day, and I was leaving for vacation the next day. So, I called a local (I might add very highly yelp recommended company) appliance repair company and they came out. They diagnosed that the evaporator had failed, that it would cost $950 to replace, and it could not be completed until we returned from vacation. They left, and then I received call from Executive. I told them about the previous service call, and then all of a sudden Ryan was at the door. He looked at the evaporator, said that was not the issue, and it turns out e problem was minor and fixed at no charge to me! Last time I'll let my frustration lead me to an unqualified person- I'll call Executive instead! read more

Been here a couple of time. Good service. Needed a part this time but they didn't have it. They were nice enough to tell me if their competitor had it and where they were. Definitely recommend these guys. read more

Ryan McDonald, a factory authorized technician for Executive Appliance Services, came out to repair my Viking Oven today. He was able to identify the problem immediately, got the oven up and running, and ordered a replacement panel as my temperature settings were no longer visible. I was so impressed with his professionalism and the service call was a very positive experience. I would highly recommend this company for their skill and expertise. Surelle K. read more

Zach has amazing customer service skills. The two technicians I had were William and david . Both seemed to know what they were doing and were professional. The reason I am giving them four stars was Felicia . She answers the phones and was not very kind. Could have just been a bad day for both of us. However when you are in customer service empathy is key. My less then one year old Viking refrigerator broke , all my groceries had to be thrown away. And I was told I would have to wait five days before they could come out! Needless to say I was upset. Instead of empathy Felicia was sure to let me know they already moved me up because Viking had called them. Needless to say it want said in a friendly tone . I think spoke to a manager , I forgot his name but he was super kind . I was a bit nervous from the reviews to use this company but overall I think they are a sold company and know what the are doing. So my VIKING is not working again. DO not every buy a viking. But if you ever need repairs, which if you have a viking you will CALL THIS COMPANY. Their technicians know what they are doing and Zach again had amazing customer service skills. read more

I spoke to Shane and asked him how long he had been working for your company. He said he has worked for your company since 2003. I told him I was very impressed with the office calling to schedule the appointment and then Shane called me as he was close to my home. I feel it's a very professional company and I will certainly call them in the future if I need repairs on any of my appliances. Flossie Dunning read more

They have had to come out 6 times to fix an issue and it still seems not to be resolved.

Had issues before, Zak reached out to me to make it right. He apologized for the mishap and I had my repair today and the tech was on time, professional took care and adjusted everything after the repair.Zak did an follow up call to make sure everything was perfect. They took ownership and made things right and next time I will call them again for my repairs. Thanks Zak read more

I would highly recommend Executive Appliances Services to o anyone requiring repairs on Viking appliances. Be sure to ask for David. read more

We have used Executive Appliance Services for our Viking appliances in the past, however this most recent call was for our dishwasher. Initially we had a service technician out that our insurance provider sent out. His diagnosis was that we needed a Circulation Pump, we wanted to get a "Viking Technician" opinion. When the "Executive Appliance Service Technician" arrived I explained our situation, he checked the dishwasher for approximately 10-15 minutes and agreed that the problem was the circulation pump, charge $129.00. Well according to Viking and EVERYONE else we've spoken to, the circulation pump is discontinued and no longer available. Finally found and purchased a brand new pump from a company in Florida for $500.00. Pump arrived without any issues, pump was installed, SAME PROBLEM, incorrect diagnosis. Called Executive Appliance Services to dispute the $129.00 service charge and asked for reimbursement, we were told SORRY. Very surprised, frustrated and upset that a "Viking Service Technician" who never even took out a tool, told us what the problem was, but was wrong and were out $129.00 plus $500.00 for a circulation pump I'm unable to return. NOT COOL !!! Former customer read more

Extremely happy with the professional and helpful support I received. Our Viking oven went out days prior to Thanksgiving. The replacement part was not available locally. Execuctive Applicance helped me find the Viking part online. They let me buy direct (no markup). I paid overnight shipping and received the part the next day. Executive Appliance rearranged their schedule to allow our technician to come back the next morning to install part and ensure oven was operating for Thanksgiving. All staff from the technician to the office staff and Operations Manager were all very helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our oven was repaired in time for the holiday. Much appreciated. I certainly recommend their services to all in need. read more

Was visiting some relatives in the LA area when a service guy named Ryan from this company came to work on the refrigerator. What a great service guy, polite and fixed things up very quickly. Kept it simple in his explanations of the problems etc... I recommend this company to anybody that has high end appliances. 5 stars from me today. Thanks for helping over the holidays. read more

Had a problem with our Dacor wall oven. Executive was 1 of 3 recommended repair companies that Dacor gave us and I believe Executive was the only 1 that we found any reviews for here or anywhere else. So we went with Executive and we are glad we did. They were professional in all aspects. They dealt with Dacor on some issues on our behalf. As previously stated, we got calls from the service tech William in addition to the office. Contrary to what Mary Beth had previously posted, the initital charge does apply to the total service charge. I would use them again. read more

I am very impressed the service that I received from "Executive Appliance Services". The cost of repair was on the high side but Viking parts are expensive. Thank you to the lady ( too bad I didn't get her name ) who answered my call right away and the technician William who came to repair my refrigerator! William, thank you so much for your step by step explanations of the repair and honesty!! read more

Worst company for service ever. ZERO STARS! These guys came out to fix my Dacor oven. They swapped out a part and it did not fix the problem. The technician said he would order the part and come back out and complete the job. Nope. Never called back. Never completed. When I called back they said the job was marked completed. Thanks for nothing! beware to choose a different service provider. read more

Exhorbitant rates, below average repair work. Their follow up to phone calls is poor, and they are unwilling to engage in conflict resolution. Unfortunately, I didn't let a bad first experience stop me from giving them a second chance. They won't get a third. read more

If you want to WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT, and have nothing better to do with your day than wait from 9-12:00 for a technician, with no courtesy call to say that they are very late, then they are GREAT. They finally showed up at 1:35 and recommended parts and service I didn't need. read more

Read other reviews and was hesitant but we called to have our Viking range repaired after a quote of +1200 from a competitor. There is a pre-service charge to show but with these kind of $$ we figured a second opinion would be worth it. Total cost including part was under $300. All I can say is in this instance they got it right. Understandably everyone wants to be cautious about this stuff but it is always amazing to see such a gross difference. Scheduling was not a problem. Repairman was prompt, even early and courteous. I'd use them again. (service was in our CA residence) read more

I really don't understand how anyone can give these guys a negative review. Here is my opinion. They show up when they say. They call when they are on there way to your house. William is a true professional and talented technician who knows his high end equipment. They came out to do Viking recall repair and I mentioned to William that my oven was still have some issues with re-igniting. William said "the recall parts should take care of the re-igniting issue". "But if not just give us a call and we will fix it". The re-igniing problem reared it head again . I called and they scheduled a visit right away, and came out the next day. William did his magic and the stove / oven work amazing!! I am highly recommending Executive Appliance Service. Not only do they address the problems that we called for, they recommend neat little maintenance tricks to keep your appliances running like new. Thank you! read more

Our SubZero of 20 years was giving us a temperature reading of 60 degrees which is 20 degrees too high, so I called my Jim Riddle number which turned out to be Executive Appliance. The scheduler gave us an appointment for the same day, Friday before Memorial Day and the technician, Shane, got here around 10:30 a.m. after giving us a call before coming. He quickly determined that the temperature control was the culprit after checking to make sure it wasn't the fan--a $200 cheaper fix. Before leaving, he called his office to order the part and found out that the part was already ordered and received. The office staff would put it in Shane's bin for a Tuesday installation. Because of the long weekend and the number of service calls still on his schedule, he would not be able to return until then. He showed me his schedule for Tuesday and there were already 7 calls listed, but he asked the scheduler to squeeze us in. Within 10 minutes of Shane's leaving, the scheduler called us back with a Tuesday slot. In the meantime, an invoice arrived on my email showing the total cost of the part, total labor and credit for the $100 deposit I made. I also received a phone message later reminding me of our Tuesday appointment. Shane gave us the 20 minute anticipation call, arrived with the part & installed it. Installation was a little tricky because all of the food had to be removed from the fridge in order to install the part. Now the fridge is back to 40 degrees at the medium setting and without all the ice blocks we used to keep it at that temperature over the long weekend. Again, I received an emailed invoice with all the costs outlined and the bill marked paid. Thanks to Shane and Executive Appliance Services for an exemplary experience & for repairing our 20-year-old Sub Zero. And by the way, the first $100 did apply to the total cost of 443.14. read more

My advice to you is to not give them your business. I have never seen a more unorganized place of business! Paying $129.00 just for them to come to our home and tell us what broken part was needed to be ordered.. On top of the initial $129.00 another $100.00 + to come out to put the part in, AND the cost of the part which they were charging us over $40.00 for. We waited for the part to be delivered to us and they sent the wrong part. So what was the $129.00 for??? their expertise to identify the part?? And they couldn't even get that right! We then went on line and found the part for $2.98 and $4.98 for shipping to us. A total cost to us to repair our microwave ourselves $7.86 ! WE DON'T RECOMMEND USING EXECUTIVE APPLIANCE SERVICES. read more

Had a kitchen flood and the guys who came out were so helpful. The restoration company moved our fridge to our dining room and it was leaning. Exec Appliance guys noticed how unsafe it was with kids in the house- it could potentially fall and hurt or kill someone. They figured out a way to bolt it to the wall at no charge. I was very appreciative of their concern for my family's safety. I will use them again! read more
