Avoid at all costs: they stranded my kids and me at the airport at midnight! I used this company to book a ride to and from the airport for spring break for my kids and I. It was a week-long trip, we had a lot of luggage, and our flights were both either very early in the AM or late at night, so I didn't want to worry about trying to find an Uber. Big mistake. The ride TO the airport was fine. But our ride home from the airport (at midnight) got cancelled DURING OUR FLIGHT HOME. Even though the company texted me the day before to confirm that our ride was all arranged, I landed to find an email from them saying that our ride was cancelled. My kids and I were stranded at the airport at midnight with all our luggage, after a very long day of traveling. I will never use this company again. Here's the email I got from them: Hello Ms. Chaney, We are reaching out to you to notify you that we have been unable to secure a vehicle to pick you up this evening at Bush Intercontinental Airport. We apologize for the inconvenience and understand that you are arriving soon. Please check in with the Information Desk at the airport for the transportation options available to get you to your destination. We will, of course, process a refund immediately. As other yelp reviews have been posted, we had the same experience during a busy concert weekend where our CONFIRMED reservation was cancelled 2 days before the concert. Like others, we called one week prior to re-confirm the car reservation and were told everything was ok. Then 2 days before our reservation, we received an email informing us our car service was canceled. What a scam service. When i called to inquire about the cancelation, they said it was a mistake and minimum was $150 an hour with a 5 hour minimum. What a bunch of crooks and terrible way to do business. They should have honored their reservations but now their reputation will take a hit. This is totally on them. read more

I booked a car to pick me up from my Airbnb and take me to the airport so I didn't have to worry about trying to get a taxi that early in the am. I booked my right 3 weeks in advance. I booked direct for a luxury suv for round trip transportation to IAH and paid at time of booking. They subcontracted my trip to the airport with uber/lyft and was picked up I'm a Nissan. I was never compensated by a reduction in price, no one ever called to explain what happen and no apologies were issued. The driver actually gave me her business card for her business. I've dealt with this company in the past and had an issue then. The pickup from the airport was what I paid for. But they actually charged me $160 for a Uber. Very disappointing. We hired ExecuCar to take us from Houston Hobby Airport to the Galveston Cruise Terminal. Our flight was extremely delayed, and we were able to get on an earlier flight so that we didn't miss our ship sail time. I called ExecuCar to see if we could get picked up earlier, and was told to just reach out when I landed to let the driver know where we would be. The operator I talked to didn't ask about my updated flight info, which they apparently needed and couldn't pick us up early, which was no big deal. Our pickup time was 11:30am and at 11:30am the driver called to tell me he was still 20 minutes away. We met him outside in the location that the email said to meet, which was not where he picked us up. So we once again were pulling four pieces of luggage through the parking garage. All that would not have inspired this review. The clincher was the fact that our hour long drive was in an SUV with a broken air conditioner. We were on the interstate, going 80 mph, with the windows down because it was so hot inside the car. Unacceptable for a $150 ride. Because I was on a cruise with very limited internet access, I tried to just schedule a return trip with ExecuCar because I couldn't look up any other company's phone number. I was told that the Cruise Terminal was too far away to be picked up from to be taken back to the airport. Even though we had been dropped off there five days earlier. Just a total mess. I was able to make a reservation with Majestic Limo and Transportation Services, and it was the perfect transport experience. I gave ExecuCar 2 stars instead of 1 because the driver was a nice man. read more

Terrible service. Arranged for transport from Hobby to the Bayport Cruise Terminal and back for myself, my wife, and two kids. On the trip to the cruiseport the driver was not at the airport at the designated time. Instead he was waiting for us at the cruiseport, despite the reservation being extremely clear as to where the pick up location was. On the return trip back to the airport, we had specified a 10 AM pick up time to allow us plenty of time to reach the airport for a 12:40 flight. At 9:58 the driver called to say he was 20 minutes late. Doesn't do me much good for you to call me 2 minutes before you are supposed to be there to tell me you won't be there when I requested. After 20 minutes had passed from the prior call, I called the driver again and he said he was still 15 minutes away. What good is having a reservation if the driver isn't going to be where he is supposed to be when he is supposed to be there? Ended up taking a cab, now trying to get a refund for the return trip from Execucar. I would not use this service again in the future. read more

Absolutely did not receive the service expected. Booked a Luxury Sedan Meet-and-Greet service at IAH. No driver to be found inside. Called dispatch who put me through to the driver, who seemed put off and asked me to find him sitting outside one of the terminal entrances. I went out to find him standing beside his SuperShuttle van. Hardly qualifies as a Luxury Sedan, with obviously no Meet-and-Greet. Driver didn't help me with luggage, and was on the phone the entire drive downtown. Totally non-courteous and I felt like I was a burden for being there. Obviously neither the product nor service was received that was booked. Customer support ticket was opened online during the transfer and I am still waiting for any response 2 days later. Might as well cancel my return transfer tomorrow as I don't care to risk a repeat experience. Not recommended. read more

Very unhappy with service. Obviously this company does not pay attention to flight arrivals. Mine was early and I ended up waiting 30 minutes even after my scheduled arrival; 45 minutes in total. The point of booking a car service is to maintain punctuality. I would have been better off taking my chances with a rideshare service. Given that dispatch is responsible for these drivers' routes, I will consider this poor organization on part of the company and will not be using this company again. read more

I like flying out of Hobby for the Southwest connectivity - but I hate the driving and then, driving BACK after a trip out of town. ExecuCar make s the whole process so much easier. You can work or email or chat while someone else deals with the traffic - right into the gate and it's so much easier. Cheaper than parking, too. read more

Very unfortunate I have to give a poor review when it seems the majority of the reviews are good. Got a text implying my driver was waiting for me at baggage claim. Nowhere to be found. Called dispatch. No answer. Called the chauffeur number in the text. "I'll call you right back!" Then 10 minutes go by. Call him again and demand to know if he's coming. "There was a delay with your driver!" "Well why did I get a text saying he'd meet me at baggage claim? Why didn't I get a text saying he's delayed?" "He's coming, he's coming! 12 minutes!" 20 minutes later, he called me. I told him he should come to Uber pickup because I was waiting for my Uber since he hadn't shown and hopefully he'd get to me first. He tried to give me some complicated instructions to go on the other side of the terminal to find where he was and look for him at some other curb. Lovely, just what I love- to be sent on a goose chase at the crack of dawn. Then my Uber pulled up and I got in. I do NOT have time to mess around at 5:15am. The ENTIRE point of booking a professional service to be there waiting for you is for efficiency and to eliminate the stress of getting yourself to your destination in an unknown city. There was a delay with the driver? It's 5:15am, there is no traffic and no road closures. You slept in. I don't blame you. Go back to sleep ExecuCar, you are useless and Uber was more prompt. Would be 1 star, but he showed up, albeit 40 minutes late, so they get 2 stars. read more

I had a good first experience! Our driver was Swami. We travel with 2 kids under 3 so we have a lot of stuff between the car seats and the stroller. Our flight was 30 minutes early and Swami called me as soon as we landed to tell me what baggage claim he was waiting by. He helped us with our luggage and made sure not to rush us. We can slower with kids at times! We scheduled the premium SUV meet and greet and we will be doing this again. I was a little hesitant to book after seeing some negative reviews especially since I reserved this service only a day in advance but this was a great! Well worth it to make traveling less stressful. We can make sure we have an extra set of hands and a vehicle big enough to get us where we need to be. read more

Worst service ever. The pick up was late because the car broke down, so Execucar sent a cab. The cab was too small to fit our family of 5. So they sent another cab. Fine. Now our trip is over and we are again waiting for our Execucar. The car is an hour late. When execucar finally picks up their phone, they are snippy. The Super Shuttle people were trying to help us out and Execucar is mad that we won't wait for their car...wherever it is. Dispatch cant even give us a van number. After having used them in the past and having no issues, we booked ExecuCar Houston for one of our international clients. An hour after the scheduled pick up time, my client sent me a note stating that the driver never showed and that he had to make other arrangements with the hotel to get him to the airport. After emailing back and forth with their customer care representative, Mark, it seems to me that while they will admit that the could be at fault for something - they will not take full responsibility and will not even attempt to resolve the situation. They will in fact look for every way possible for you to eat the cost for their mistake. Very unprofessional and not the way to run a customer service business. We will not be using them again and I recommend you all stay away from them as well. PS - Don't try to use an international phone number as a client contact. While it doesn't say any where on the website that they are unable to call international numbers, they expect you to know this. This also means that if you put an international number in their system, they will make NO attempts to contact you or your client to see where you are located for pick up - thus being able to drive away with your dollars and no passenger. **EDIT** - After speaking with Mark one last time, he was able to speak to his supervisor and they refunded us the money for the trip, and genuinely apologized for the headache this has caused. I still don't know if we will use EC in the future, but they did come around and made amends. read more

When they work, they work great. But when they don't work, you are screwed. One three occasions, we have been left stranded at IAH - 60 miles from home - because they could not get a driver for us. So, here we are at the airport, our vehicle is at home, we have prepaid for the service, our flight is on time, and they don't show. We call their dispatcher, who tells us there is no driver and that we must now pay a taxi (about $140) to get us home. And THEN - we have to work our butts off to get the prepaid ExecuCar fare refunded. They will cheerfully take your money and leave you holding your bags. read more

We used ExecuCar from Clear Lake to Houston Intercontinental Airport. Pick up from home was at 4:45 AM and driver was very professional and got us to the airport, helped with our bags. We returned a week later, our flight was late, bags late etc. Driver was extremely professional and helpful. It was almost midnight when we got home.
