Original (2016): Made arrangements far in advance and was pleasantly surprised for the one way trip to the cruise port in Galveston! Definitely worth it, when arranging far in advance. Definitely, 5 stars for this only. NOTE: Round trip arrangements were not made, because we were all flying out on different dates. The reason for the rating: 24 to 48 hours prior to the ship docking upon our return, my brother in law contacted Galveston Shuttle and Limo Co. to make arrangements for pick up. The company had a 7:30 am time and another time available that would have been too late for his scheduled flight out of IAH. All other times were unavailable due to other bookings. So, they settled on the 7:30 am pick up time and the payment was sent. The ship docked by 7 am, but passengers were not released to disembark until almost 8 am. My brother in law was on the phone with the driver informing him of the delay and that they would be the first off of the ship. The driver assured him he would wait, but in fact did not and when called, said he would return at 9:30 am. They (10 people, including 3 elderly and 2 children) used the carnival shuttle instead to get them to the airport on time. In my opinion: Galveston Shuttle should have informed my brother in law that historically, the cruise ships very rarely release passengers before 8 am and therefore, a 7:30 am pick up time would be impossible. Money would be wasted. I also think that the company should have informed him about how long the driver is required to wait before leaving. An informed customer has the required information to make an informed decision. I believe the company knew this would be easy money, which I think is BAD business. Beware and ask questions.

My school hired eight school buses for a field trip since our district does not have their own…read morebuses. There were issues from the moment they arrived. The buses were late and when they finally arrived one of the buses was lost. The company allowed 5 buses to pull into our school and start loading those buses but the remaining two buses were made to wait of the side of the road until the lost bus arrived. This caused us to wait to load the remaining three buses until much later than we originally planned to leave. Once we finally leave, almost 45 minutes late, the lead bus pulls into the road and completely stops!!! This happened multiple times throughout our drive. The bus driver was really rude when we asked her what was going on. She yelled at us that it was "protocol" but refused to explain what that even meant. Our 30 minute drive to the field trip took an hour with how many stops to wait on the other buses it took. Our operations manager had already said she will never use this company ever again!
