The blond highlights were narrow evenly spaced streaks and looked so fake because they were so symetrical. I cancelled future appointments because I could not get consistant results. Also, at a new place today they reported that my hair was severly damaged from over bleaching during foils. For basic services this place is fine. But they do not have an understanding of how to protect hair from further damage by over processing.

You work with their group directly who then contract out hair and makeup stylists for your trail and day of services. If you are someone who likes direct contact with a stylists this may not be the route for you. HOWEVER! They offer very low minimum spend (5 services) and no charges for travel as long as your getting ready location is in the suburbs. This was perfect as I had a small bridal party and minimal family members interested in getting hair or makeup done. Also, their prices were very competitive. I worked with Sam for makeup! Sam did a great job asking the right questions, applying the right looks for people who usually wear minimal makeup, and checking in to ensure what she was doing was liked. Everyone felt very much like themself and makeup lasted all night. For hair, I worked with Alex! Between my trail and wedding morning, it took Alex and I some time to get to my final wedding look. She was patient with me but had some difficulties interpreting my vision. I can 100% say that it was all worth it in the end because i LOVED my hair. I felt like myself and it held all night. My other girls also enjoyed their hair and really felt heard by Alex. Lastly, I recommend to Style on Site to shoot for consistency with their clients. The ones where I actually look decent is the make I did MYSELF. The last photos are the photos of my without makeup. I don't normally take photos of myself without makeup so this was the best I could do. I had really high hopes for this vendor - which made me justify their high price. Right off the bat I was unsure - I had reached out to the owner Klaudia to confirm my payment. After reaching out to her 5 times, finally about one week later she finally confirmed, I was freaking out because I thought I was being scammed. My trial date kept changing, there wasn't any flexibility. The artist I had the trial with was a very nice lady - but clearly untrained and not a professional hair stylist/makeup artist. I never thought I could feel so ugly in my life than after she "revealed" her work. My hair was a joke, it looked so completely undone and not even close to what I asked her to do. She put, not exaggerating, at least 35 hair pins in my hair for a simple twist which looked nothing like what I asked for. she teased one side of the back of my hair which looked like a lump and gave me the wrong type of curls. The photos are after I tried to push it down a bit to show her that I don't like a tease like that. My face was so caked with the wrong color makeup and horribly blended. I have naturally thick eyebrows with a great structure, I'm known to have great eyebrows and to have natural beauty. The artist filled in very harshly just the beginning of my brows and then brushed up with gel. Her method made absolutely no sense. She contoured my face with an orange bronzer and in places i told her not to contour. She did not know how to wing eyeliner - I had to show her. By the end of it I looked like i was middle aged. I'm turning 28 in one month and can hardly pass for a 20 years old.. I don't have a single wrinkle and I have great skin, although I was having an eczema flare up from stress on my chin and one spot on my upper lip, she made it look very crusty and my skin was really irritated. I was truly dumbfounded. I was in shock. I immediately cancelled - they did not refund me for my trial. I was angry because the makeup artist took almost FIVE hours to do my hair and makeup and also wasted my time. I will say the owner broke the contract after explaining how disappointed I was. However, my wedding was in one and I had no makeup artist and no hairstylist. Make sure you have your trial WAYYYY before the wedding if you decide to go with this vendor. also ALWAYS TAKE PHOTOS YOURSELF after the trial.
