I loved Raji's facials and wanted a salon closer to me, so I was thrilled. I've had at least 6 visits here (if not more). They offer a nice selection of services at a very reasonable price. Waxing, threading, facials, hair, nails/pedicures, airbrush tanning, henna tattoos, makeup.. Salon itself is nicely decorated and very clean. I always feel good vibes when I'm here. Staff is so friendly and booking appointments is a breeze. Gaya is never not here and her schedule is flexible. Brazilian $30. Facials start at $30. Eyebrow threading is cheap too and she does a great job. Lately I've been coming mainly for Gaya's Brazilian wax and brow & face threading. Gaya is the only one who does waxing and she is an absolute doll. Extremely easy to be around, you won't feel uncomfortable with her. She has a very warm personality and is just likeable. Always smiling and jovial. Positive vibes ooze from her (not kidding). She's also professional and hygienic. She takes her job seriously. Wax room is super clean and she explains everything. I always have a ton of questions (especially first time I met her) about the Brazilian. She takes her time explaining and is extremely thorough! Yes, ladies know how important it is to have a 'spotless' Brazilian. I will tell you she uses hard wax only on certain areas. First time I ever experienced it and I questioned whether this was safe / good to use. I researched this myself and found varying opinions from professionals. Some said its fine down there, some don't recommend. Some women don't like it at all. You may not feel any pain with regular wax (I don't), but you will with hard wax. I asked Gaya and trusted her opinion. First time it WAS painful...second time too. Heck, its never not painful for a second or two and I have a high threshold for pain. It doesn't last long and she strives to do her best to reduce the "OUCH!" Regular hot wax is used on remaining area. Again, she is very thorough and throughout process asks if you're OK multiple times. She uses gloves during process and when finished applies baby oil and an antiseptic. You cannot have sex the night of. Your skin is still raw - she advises to apply baby oil and Neosporin few times after your visit. Its important to wait at least a month prior to next apt. Gaya is also a wealth of information on Indian spices and remedies. I've asked about hair, skin, etc and she told me multiple spices to use and how to use them. Tumeric is key along with ginger & others. Ask and she'll be happy to offer her knowledge - she knows her shit! Unfortunately, my most recent experience showed me exactly how little my business and loyalty apparently meant to her. Before my appointment, I texted to let her know I was running late. While I was already on my way, she began texting me about her 15-minute grace period and telling me she had another client after me. Fair enough--salons have schedules and late policies. But what happened when I arrived was completely unacceptable. Instead of having a normal, professional conversation with me, the OWNER began yelling at me. I was honestly shocked by the level of hostility, attitude and disrespect. I wasn't going to stand there and allow someone I had paid thousands of dollars over the course of a year to scream at me, so I left. Then came the dispute over the hair I had already paid for. Despite the appointment not proceeding, she refused to refund my money for the hair. That only reinforced my decision that I would never give this business another dollar. The most disappointing part is the owner's attitude. In my experience, she behaves as though she is somehow above her customers and entitled to speak to people however she chooses. There is an arrogance and unpleasantness that I overlooked for far too long because I had an established relationship with her and liked having consistency with my hair. This final incident was the last straw. Let's be clear: this isn't some exclusive celebrity salon where customers should feel privileged just to get through the door. It's a neighborhood salon in Hoffman Estates. Customers are the reason any salon stays in business, and treating a loyal customer as though she's beneath you is an incredibly poor way to run one. I fully acknowledge that I was late. If she couldn't accommodate me, all she had to say was, "I'm sorry, we need to reschedule." That would have been the end of it. Instead, she chose to yell at me and turn a scheduling issue into an ugly confrontation. After being a loyal customer for a year, I walked away from this experience thinking: Why did I ever tolerate this woman's attitude or spend this much money here? My recommendation is simple: steer clear of Eros Salon. There are far too many talented stylists and professional salon owners in the area to spend your money somewhere you may be treated with hostility and disrespect. I will never return, and I absolutely do NOT recommend spending your money here! The owners demeanor is deeply unpleasant, unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional!

Right off the bat I was unsure - I had reached out to the owner Klaudia to confirm my payment. After reaching out to her 5 times, finally about one week later she finally confirmed, I was freaking out because I thought I was being scammed. My trial date kept changing, there wasn't any flexibility. The artist I had the trial with was a very nice lady - but clearly untrained and not a professional hair stylist/makeup artist. I never thought I could feel so ugly in my life than after she "revealed" her work. My hair was a joke, it looked so completely undone and not even close to what I asked her to do. She put, not exaggerating, at least 35 hair pins in my hair for a simple twist which looked nothing like what I asked for. she teased one side of the back of my hair which looked like a lump and gave me the wrong type of curls. The photos are after I tried to push it down a bit to show her that I don't like a tease like that. My face was so caked with the wrong color makeup and horribly blended. I have naturally thick eyebrows with a great structure, I'm known to have great eyebrows and to have natural beauty. The artist filled in very harshly just the beginning of my brows and then brushed up with gel. Her method made absolutely no sense. She contoured my face with an orange bronzer and in places i told her not to contour. She did not know how to wing eyeliner - I had to show her. By the end of it I looked like i was middle aged. I'm turning 28 in one month and can hardly pass for a 20 years old.. I don't have a single wrinkle and I have great skin, although I was having an eczema flare up from stress on my chin and one spot on my upper lip, she made it look very crusty and my skin was really irritated. I was truly dumbfounded. I was in shock. I immediately cancelled - they did not refund me for my trial. I was angry because the makeup artist took almost FIVE hours to do my hair and makeup and also wasted my time. I will say the owner broke the contract after explaining how disappointed I was. However, my wedding was in one and I had no makeup artist and no hairstylist. Make sure you have your trial WAYYYY before the wedding if you decide to go with this vendor. also ALWAYS TAKE PHOTOS YOURSELF after the trial. These are unfortunately the only photos I took because I was in shock and also in the middle of finding out one of my bridesmaids dropped out.
