Jose does everything (electrical, plumbing, from minor detailing to entire room design and renovation). In addition to his, he's honest and a hardworker, and does a great job. He's dedicated, and won't stop until the problem is finished. I've so far used him for re-wiring the electricity in my bathroom and kitchen as well as installing a closet door and repairing cracked drywall. You can tell Jose is proud of his work, dedicated, and honest. Would recommend him to anyone read more

I should have looked him up on Yelp before working with him. After 2 months my bathroom is still not usable and looks like this. He and his brother have made every excuse to not finish, he left a toilet and door and vanity in the middle of my bedroom for over a month. Has completely stopped responding. Made up a lie that he was in a hospital with Muriatic poisoning. As a professional, he should know better than to get that. After over a week of 0 communication, and proof that he never did things like submit paperwork or provide samples to my building, i take it as he's a scammer. Even after numerous calls, texts, and emails and demands to respond, he and his brother have not answered in 1 full week. Wil file a police report. read more

If you need Handyman Services call Exclusive Handyman Services. The owner Jose is great. It's a family owned business and I support local business instead of the Commerical companies. He's very responsive and very fair in price. He does excellent handyman work. He is also reliable and overall I was very satisfied with the quality of work he does. I highly recommend Exclusive Handyman Services and give him 5 stars! read more

I am extremely disappointed. Started out as a good working relationship and referred to many potential clients. I spent thousands of dollars and work was left unfinished. Typical Miami bs. Doesn't respect clients time- when he wants to do the job, everything is good. When he doesn't - no response and that's the end. He knew I had a bad experience with my first contractor so again, very disappointing. He has nice guys working for him & when he feels like it the job is good but what does it matter if it's unfinished? I wish I could have left a good review but I'm blatantly being ignored & disrespected. read more

Not worth the hassle !!!! My husband and I have several businesses & yes it's common that these contractors don't do what you want but this one right here !!!! Wow worst experience EVER ! I should have know from the moment he mentioned "let's do it without permits" I have so much bad to say but I know that karma is a mf & it'll get to him..... Jose Arana is a full time liar, he always has an excuse, makes his worker take the blame for work he should be supervising. Besides always lying, he told me my job would take him 2 weeks & it took him over a month! Besides that he left a mess, is sooooo sloppy..... just WOW I can't believe how much I paid him for such a shitty job. I just wanted him out so i paid him & took the loss! read more

This man is a complete liar and crook! DO NOT work with him! We hired him to retile a small balcony, something he said would be very easy to do and he completed in one day. After he was done, I noticed that he had done an awful job... The balcony was holding a ton of water for days after every time it rained. The reason for this was that he tiled it in such a way that there was a belly in the middle. He promised to fix it free of charge, but all of a sudden it was impossible to get a hold of him. Day after day he came up with cancellations, excuses and stories about why he couldn't make it. The best story by far was a last minute "invitation" to court. Amazing! This was EXTREMELY frustrating as he would make appointments with me and I had to put my day on hold or stay home from work to wait for him. When he did finally show up, he removed one tile, then got tired and said he didn't have the tools to fix it, that his "brother" in Homestead had whatever he needed and he promised me he would show up at 1:00 PM the next day and gave me his word. Well, sure enough the next day he couldn't make it, and said he would try to come by later, but just stopped picking up his phone completely. This guy is a complete LIAR! Do not trust him! He wasted my time and money. I let him know that I will be filing a complaint against his license (if he even has one) and taking him to court to retrieve the money I wasted with him. Stay Away! read more

Jose was very responsive and professional. I needed an emergency shower head installation in both my bathrooms at my apartment downtown. Jose got the job done in less than 24 hours. No scams no wait time and the job was done efficiently. I'm so happy I found him and will be using him for all of my future jobs. It's very hard to find responsible professionals in Miami. First of all, Jose installed a washer/dryer vent for me, which was perfect. And he scraped/redid a botched popcorn ceiling job, which was fine. But the final job he did was unacceptable. We had him install a backsplash in our kitchen. Half was done well, half was done sloppily. But the most aggravating part is that he didn't clean the grout off the tiles!!! So months later, every time I'm in my tenant's kitchen, I just see this ugly ugly layer of grout on what would have been a beautiful (but partially sloppy) backsplash. I mean that's basically tiling 101- you wipe off the grout after with a wet sponge! If it hardens, it's impossible to get off. Hire him, sure, but you have to be on him to make sure he gets actually finishes the job. read more

Excellent. We found him thanks to yelp. We called him and he show up the same day and performed a small job. He showed up on time, listened to my concerns, answer all my questions. He worked fast, efficient and clean. While he worked we started talking about other project for the house. I was so impressed by his knowledge about tile installation, AC, construction, electricity, sheetrock. We end up hiring him to do a bigger job in a room. He stared right before Christmas, yes I know doing a job during the holidays. But he was worth it. We had no issue he started and finished as agreed. Actually he finished a day earlier. The rooms looks great. From the tiles, the paint, everything was perfect . A true professional. He also takes Venmo, PayPal etc.d read more

My fiancé and I recently bought our first home and the first thing on our to do list was tearing down a wall to create an open concept. We did some research and found Jose and his team at Exclusive Handyman Services. His response time was almost immediate, he gave us a decent quote and was able to accommodate our work within a couple of days after contacting him. He expanded our wall, framed it and closed off a hallway and created a wall to make a pantry (no shelfs in picture because we were custom making our own, but he was willing to put them in). Although there was an unexpected concrete and stucco setback, he worked hard to ensure the project was finished within 2 days!!!! Trustworthy, professional and a man of his word! We've already called him back to do another job for us. Thank you Jose. read more

After reading only one review on a Sunday afternoon with a plumbing emergency, I called Jose -whom I never met before. He promptly answered and came to see the damage. Quoted me a fair price and repaired the problem that afternoon. I was impressed by his work. So A week later, I hired him again to repair a ceiling -which he did in short time and a fair price. I can't tell you how much I appreciate fair and honest jobs. Jose n his crew showed on time and worked steady. I'm happy I found them in a city full of tricks. I recommend him to everyone. read more

Jose is a hard worker, he did several jobs for me and my wife. He gets the job done, sometimes hard to get a hold of because he is busy, he did my balcony, lights, ceiling, stuff for my wife as well. My only complaint is he not not very clean, meaning he leaves things messy, touch-up work was not done at all. The lights he put in my ceiling had gaps in some of them that are very noticeable. He did my balcony, it was not laid evenly and not that great of a job either. Also the price he quoted the maximum worst case scenario was exceeded 2 times. one last thing, he is not good at keeping times, I am ex-military and find it hard to get used to being told a time and that time is not kept, sometimes a day late or more. read more

BEST HANDYMAN!!! I've called Jose twice, both times with emergencies in my apartment. He was prompt and helped us solve all the issues. The first time our entire closet fell apart and he fixed it. The second time, he solved all the issues with a new apartment ranging from power outlets, stains, AC clean up, dryer, etc. In other words, he solves EVERYTHING! Very professional! read more

I was in need of someone to put up my flat screen TV on the wall, so I took to yelp. Jose's company was the first listed, so I called him and he answered right away. He told me the price and when he would be able to come. It took him about 30-40 minutes to put up the TV and the shelf. He made sure I was confortable with the position, and he even told me where I could purchase the piece to cover the wires. He even called me at a later date to tell me the name of the piece since he had forgot at the time. As an added bonus, he gave me some pointers on painting since he could tell I painted the wall myself. Jose was very professional! He worked quickly and cleaned up after himself. I will keep Jose in mind for future jobs! Thanks Jose! read more

We needed a number of odd jobs done around the house. We called Jose and he was able to come over and get the job done! I'm no handy man, which was a big deal for me because some of the things I needed done, I didn't even know how to explain it. Jose took his time to listen to my wife and I and what we wanted and was able to tell right away what we wanted done. Issues we had with our bed, issues with blinds in the house, he measured our windows and even offered to go to Home depot to pick up for us what we needed. I have dealt with many handy men in the past but none so far have even come close to the service and quality Jose has shown me. He is friendly and hard working! He will definitely be my go-to handy man for years to come! read more

The worse! He is a liar! Will give you a verbal estimate and will give you the run around to give you the written estimate and when he gives it to you usually the day before the project is about to start will increase the price by a lot more when nothing in the project has changed and when confront it will simply just lie to your face. Do not trust him! Do not use him! I for once will be taking him to court for wasting over a month of my time when I could have used someone else for the job. read more

2 words: Very unprofessional. 3 other words:waste of time. I had an issue with my door shutting properly on its own. I called exclusive handyman services after researching Yelp and seeing fairly good reviews. After calling I set up an apt for the following day being that they could not fit me in day of. The next day came around and I waited 15 minutes before texting only to receive a response that his brother should be there. Note: he would not pick up my phone call initially. Clearly no one was at my place- after texting him that he said ok let me find out where he is. I was the one who had to initiate further convo 15 mins later only to hear exactly what I thought that no one would be showing up. I took the morning off from work to be here. Once again very unprofessional and beware of wasting your time calling these people. read more

The work done by Jose was of good quality and reasonably priced, however I had to constantly stay on top of him to get the work done. Also, after giving him the final payment it was impossible for me to get him to finish the final touch up work. Furthermore I've been trying to get insurance papers from him for over a month now so I can be reimbursed by the landlord and he has not provided these to me. Do NOT make final payment until EVERYTHING you need from him is resolved. read more

Had him scheduled for an estimate, and neither of them showed up or called. Very rude!

Jose is very professional and reliable which is hard to find in Miami. I highly recommend him.

Jose didn't show up for either appointment to meet and do work. He didn't bother to call or email - so I wasted a lot of time on this guy. His 1st excuse for missing the 1st meeting was he had a car accident? (not sure if that's true) So, he blows off meetings with new clients - and doesn't bother to ever get back to them. I had year round handyman type work lined up for the guy - now Never contacting Jose again. read more

I live in California and have a rental property in Miami. I found Jose through Yelp because every single handyman I called from a referral didn't show up, or rescheduled multiple times. Jose showed up the day and time he said he would, he called me and gave me an estimate on the work. He came back three times to do three different jobs, and even went shopping for parts for me for the repairs. He did a great job and I'm really happy with the results. I'll be calling him next time I need any repairs on our condo. read more

It is always difficult to find a reliable and professional handyman in Miami. I searched Yelp and came across Exclusive Handyman Services which was highly rated to make several repairs including the installation of dry wall, the repair several leaks, and to paint both interior and exterior areas. Jose responded immediately with a site inspection and a reasonable estimate. He was very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done and suggested several solutions to fix the problem. Two days later work began. The results were perfect! Exclusive Handyman gets my highest recommendation. read more

Jose is a truly excellent handyman, carpender, and contractor. He can do any job large and small. He is very respectful and has a wonderful aesthetic eye for space and how things should be done. His prices are fair for the excellent quality work that he provides. For me he has put up doors, shelves, fixed things in my space, and I am hiring him soon to install an air conditioner and do my shower doors as well as other things in the apartment. Suggestions he makes are beyond anything I could think of in terms of how to renovate the space to make it look great. Highly recommend. read more

I do not recommend this handyman. First of all, he was supposed to be here at 10:00 am like we agreed so after 20 minutes went by, I decided to text him and ask him where he was. He told me that his brother would be here instead, so I waited for 45 minutes and no one showed up. read more

I called Jose on a Saturday about painting a house that I rented. He came out and gave me an estimate on that Saturday. After talking with Jose, I asked him about painting the house on Sunday because my rental on the house was up on Monday afternoon. Once we agreed on the budget. Jose and his team of four came out to Miami Beach and worked on a Sunday. They got to the house by 9am and worked until they were done painting. We even noticed a little leak by the air conditioner and Jose patched up the leak and painted the area. I can't say enough about this company. Thank you for coming out on a Sunday and working to make sure the house was back in order. 5 stars! read more
