Instead, I prefer to summarize it with a few words I am borrowing from Tony. Referring to painiting residences, he said: "la pintura lo es todo". He meant, paint is the essence of a home. Before they came for the job our townhouse was white. After they left, it was still white. But was it? This was not the same townhouse than before by any means. Somehow, they both managed to instill life, happiness and beauty to all walls, ceilings and baseboards. Only a labor of love can do this. From their attention to detail, to communicatiing throughout the process, to their porfessional demeanor Tony and Anthony far exceeded my expectations. And not one drop of paint could be found on the floors. Thank you for making our home a beautiful place to live in.

We have an odd counter top extension that sort of hung out at a weird angle, we did not use and took up an entire room of the house (it is a small house). It was becoming a place for accumulating junk. This project required that they cut off a section of granite countertop and detach the extension from the floor. Then they trimmed the granite to a new length it so that they could reposition it with a CLEAN SEAM. It looks great and now I have more usable counter top space for cooking, the kids have a counter to sit at for breakfast and we have an extra room in the house. I desperately needed a new kitchen and decided to plan it out with Ikea's partners, Traemand, I loved the overall floor plan they set up for me but when it came down to pricing The actual assembly of the kitchen was more than the kitchen itself and I didn't think that was fair. I was so bummed and almost called the whole thing off until I ran into Carlos (Tri Miami Handyman) inside Ikeas elevator, he gave me his card and I decided to give it a try. Perhaps THE BEST Decision ever!! After emailing him the floor plan and receiving his license, insurance and labor estimate I immediately purchased the appliance. Apart from his FAIR pricing, his attention to detail and overall dedication to satisfy me was abslotuley fulfilling. There were a couple complications with the delivery and a slight imbalance with the tiled floor that he managed to overcome. He even drove me to ikea From south beach and waited to pickup the missing equipment!! I got along great with him and his partner, they were both so honest, Patient, and experienced. They genuinely enjoyed doing what they do and to me it was like a piece of art because they were forced to improvise due to the certain circumstances. I wanted an old kitchen replaced and based on other reviews my daughter set up a meet with Carlos. They came on the appointment date went over the details and I asked them to do the job. the following day they were out to demo the old kitchen and floor.They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up all the mess preparing the site for the next day. Next day started cabinet assembly and set the new floor. I had a few design issues and corrections which Carlos had no problem resolving. My kitchen is not yet completed waiting on a different vendor for the counter, then I plan for Tri Miami to do the backsplash. I will then make it 5 stars. this crew works very well, they are clean and efficient. they kept their appointments and called ahead and called on the one day they could not come by. Tri Miami Handyman Services is great!!! I called this company to hang a few heavy mirrors and many paintings in my new home. Carlos communicated immediately with me, and told me he could come at the date and time that were convenient for me. We scheduled the appointment and he showed up exactly when he was supposed to (which is actually a big deal in my book). He quoted me a very fair price upon seeing the actual work to be done, I accepted, and then he and his partner proceeded to expertly, and professionally get the job done. They worked for about 3 hours until it was complete with absolute positivity and politeness. I will use them in the future for all my handyman work. The first person that i hired to come fix the tiles in our condo never bothered to show up on the date he was supposed to, and i never heard from him again. Carlos was recommended to me by a neighbor, and when i called him he was able to come check out the job within 2 days. He was even able to complete it on that same day, which was amazing because it is a vacation home and we were only there for a limited amount of time. He and his worker were very nice and polite, did great work and even helped us with a few other things that we sprung on them last minute. Carlos came in last week and did a solid job with his colleague. They painted my Daughter's Bedroom including the ceiling and in four different colors. He covered the bed and moved the remaining furniture out into the hallway so as to not get paint on them. Carlos went right to work. Spent most of the day at our home. He also put together 2 IKEA bed drawers and changed her bedroom door lock as well. Hope he can come back soon for more work around our house. Highly recommended! read more

I called Carlos for an estimate on Saturday morning and he arrived within 15 minutes. I showed him what I needed done and he said he could do it on Monday (which was reasonable), but I asked him if he could possibly do it sooner since it was a stove and vanity for my tenants. In late November, 2016, I contracted Roger at "The Grove Handyman" on Angie's List to have a…read morebathroom wall repaired following a leak in the pipes. I was quoted a good price and the appointment was arranged. The property is a unit I was preparing to rent and I was out of town, so a friend let the workers in. They were instructed to call him so he could view the work before they left. The worker called me and said the work was done. He sent me a picture after he left and after he returned the keys. He took the bathroom hardware off the wall for the repair and failed to put it back on. I contacted Roger and he informed me that the pipe for the faucet was too short. I don't know why the worker would tell me "it's all done," when it obviously wasn't. Roger said he would have to send someone else out on another day and he would have to charge me a callout fee - to complete the work his staff failed to finish. As I had a tenant moving in the next week, I had no choice. On the second appointment, a different worker said "it's all done," but he is the one person in North America with a cell phone that doesn't take photos. Roger's tone via text message after both visits was not an example of excellent customer service. He did not offer any assurance that everything was as it should be or apologize that his staff failed to complete the work properly the first time. In April, 2017, my tenant contacted the property manager to inform him that the faucet had become completely detached from the wall and pipe. The property manager left a voicemail for Roger, but he never called back. I called the next day and my call went to voicemail as well. The greeting stated that Roger would be out of town from the following day. Unfortunately, before he went out of town, he never returned my or the property manager's call. We had to hire another contractor to fix the inadequate work done by the Grove Handyman staff. I emailed Roger and explained the situation and provided him with a copy of the charges incurred to fix the faucet again as well as a photo. Roger refused to compensate me because he thought the charge of $260 was too high and because he didn't see it himself. This entire situation has been completely unacceptable. The original job was not completed. I was charged additional fees to complete the job on a second visit. The work performed was not done correctly and only lasted 4 months. And I was not compensated or refunded for having to hire another company. I strongly advise against hiring "The Grove Handyman" for any work. The company is a typical South Florida contractor that does shoddy work, doesn't communicate properly and doesn't stand behind their work.

Roger is the best. Needing just a few house repairs, I called upon his services to patch up some…read moreholes, fix some leaks, etc. After deciding he was a nice and honest guy with top notch service, I explained that I'd soon be moving to Brazil and I'd likely need someone I could call on a dime in case my tenant needed a handy man. As expected, I called Roger a year later (from Brazil) and had him head to the townhouse to fix some plumbing and help with some painting. He even brought in an electrician to handle a light issue. I paid him after his work via PayPal. He's been quick to respond every time and continues to deliver in terms of service, quality and honesty. Good dude, good work!

I had already received a quote from a national chain and really wanted to support another small business. During the initial consultation, I was chatting with the assistant and he confirmed that not only could they reface my kitchen cabinets... they would love to help me replace my antiquated carpet for updated vinyl flooring. The quote for cabinets AND new floors was basically the same amount that the national cabinet chain had quoted me for just the kitchen?? They were very accommodating with creating invoices that my HOA would greenlight, and met the requirements for soundproofing my second floor unit. The technicians kept updated on all processes from consultant to appointment. The owner met with me the day before to aussage my concerns about what I needed to move or not move , to accommodate the process . I didn't want to create any unnecessary movements or furniture displacement for my technician!! They checked in with me via text throughout each day and sent video at the end of each session to communicate on the progress! They finished my 2BR condo in less than 3 days! I am beyond happy with the results! My unit looks and feels so much bigger with my beautiful new floors. It is exactly what I was looking for and then SOME!!! It started out with Brian calling me on February 18th at 9 am making an appointment to come see the job and give me an onsite estimate. I took the rest of the day off and waited for them, but they never came. At the very end of the day Brian texted me to say that he couldn't get there. This cost me half a days loss of income. At around 5:30 pm same day he texted again, saying he would do the job for $500 without seeing the job personally, because he had enough information from the initial pictures I provided. However ,the next day he asked me to compose a video with detailed spoken instruction of what I wanted done. More time wasted and extremely aggravating because I then had to edit the video for over an hour just to be able to send it via text message because apparently the video was too long to be able to send. After all this he retracted his $500 estimate He instructed me to go ahead and do it with someone else. It should be noted that Brian was polite and well spoken but regrettably this interaction wasted my time and fell far short of my expectations. My belief is that it had more to do with the owner Augustin, who was disengaged in this communication and seemed to change his mind several times. Very unfortunate and Not the way to get my business. This vendor seems to have excellent reviews and they probably do excellent work. My review is 100% related to communication and engagement when reaching out for a quote for services. Without getting in to the details, I reached out to them, provided pictures informed them of the work I needed done (which was not a lot by the way) and was told they would get back to me. Full disclosure they did tell me they had to check their schedule as they had quite a bit of work that week. I told them it would be fine as I was in no rush. Trying to be fair and transparent here. Well they never did and I reached out a second time to see what was going on with no response. Only thing I can think is that my job was so small, it was of no interest to them so they never got back to me. Really not an issue if that is the case (I understand) but I would have appreciated them telling me that was the case if they were busy with other projects and did not have time to assist me. So I suspect they can get the job done based on other reviews (which is why I reached out) but it may take a little elbow grease on your part to actually get a quote from them if you have a very small job.
