TLDR: overpriced and work is mediocre at best. Not sure how they have the reviews they do... I contracted Painters DNA to remove and paint wallpaper in my bedroom that has been in my condo unit for years. The bedroom is 200 square feet and this includes my closet. The closet wasn't being painted. They charged me $1,500 for a room that was less than 200 square feet. It was ridiculously overpriced but I needed to get it done due allergies and before my brand new dresser came. They were offering their services immediately. Additionally, when the contractors were here, they didn't put anything over my furniture or bed to remove the wallpaper. There was dust and pieces of wallpaper all over the place. Because of this, I spent HOURS washing sheets/blankets/comforters as well as throughly dusting/cleaning room because of the amount of dust and dirt everywhere. If putting protector over my bed/furniture wasn't included, this should have been communicated. It was not. The only time a protector was placed on my bed and furniture was for painting. Lastly, when the job was complete (after only a couple hours) the paint had steaks on various walls. I could've done a better job and I have never painted a wall in my life. Contract a different company and don't waste your money/time. read more

We hired Painters DNA to paint interior of house. Walls were skim coated by our contractor. After brushing the walls, many small holes were found. Painters continued to prime and paint over holes. We were not told of any damage to walls and we discovered this on final inspection. We were told this happens. Your painters should have stopped the project and notified us of this problem. They did not. Our contractor repaired all skim coated walls at no cost to stand behind their work. Of course, now walls needed to be repainted. Luci did nothing to try to help us out. So much for "customer relationships". View the pictures we provided. Response to owner: You obviously didn't read my review as I did not say you skimmed walls. I didn't say you caused holes but your guys did not notify us and we discovered it when the job was completed. John obviously lies. Your painters should not have painted the walls when they saw the damage. Every painter I talk to says the same. You could have tried to help us out and you didn't offer. (1700 sq ft house) OK, I have had my share of bad luck with contractors in South Florida. My expectations are low because of all the half correct work I have argued about and paid for. Painters DNA sets the bar for every other contractor in S. Florida. We scheduled a meeting for the estimate, Manny called 30 minutes before to confirm meeting, and then he showed up on time!!! On time people! He explained the process and turned the quote around in 24 hours. He answered all of my questions, They even brought paint samples, applied them to the house, and left them with us so we could deliberate our final decision.
