We recently bought an apartment in Miramar and had it renovated but needed the entire apartment painted from the floorboards to the ceiling (had the popcorn removed but not by Continental). They came in very quickly to give us a quote which came out about $500 less than other competitors which was fantastic. They used Sherman Williams super high quality paint Pro Mar 200 Pure White and painted the entire apartment in two days. They laid down all the necessary flooring protection to protect the floor from the paint which it did. If you're looking for a "solution" for your painting, needs I'd start elsewhere…read more Solutions was recommended to us by a trusted friend. At the start, we were very impressed with their thoroughness in providing an estimate. They asked great questions and seemed genuinely interested in our project. Their price was right in the middle of the other estimates we received. However, we quickly learned that Solutions had over promised and would under deliver. They delayed completion of the job several times. Their delays interrupted other contractors we had lined up, and Solutions was very unapologetic and inflexible about it. We ended up having to waive assembly of furniture deliveries (which we had paid for), and were not able to get the full benefit of our movers (which we also, obviously, paid for). We also had to delay or reschedule numerous other contractors. If you're on a tight moving schedule, I'd be very concerned they won't finish your project in time to move in. More frustrating than the delays was the quality of their work -- or the lack thereof. They repeatedly advised us that portions of the house were "finished," only for us to discover that the quality of the work left a LOT to be desired. In our primary bedroom, there were clear lines around the ceiling and baseboards where they had cut in with paintbrushes but the failed to blend the paint that was applied with a roller. There were obvious globs of paint drips in numerous rooms. They painted an entire room the wrong color, notwithstanding the fact that we filled out a document that specified which room was to be painted what color. For the last incident, they tried to gaslight us by saying we chose so many different colors which made things confusing. We were upfront about our paint selections when they quoted the job and, as mentioned above, we filled out a multi-page document specifying the selections for each room. While they ultimately touched up most of the work, I'm not confident they would have done so without our constant requests. It shouldn't take a customer pointing out obvious defects for a "professional" to remedy them. But if you're not prepared to advocate for yourself, don't trust that Solutions will deliver a quality product. I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention the mess they left in the house. I'm not talking dust -- that's a given with any sort of work. They failed to reinstall light fixtures they'd removed, they left buckets of equipment on our patio, and were still discovering globs of paint on our floors. While we're happy with how the final product looks, I can't in good conscience recommend Solutions painting because the customer experience was so poor.

To my disappointment, the vanity and mirror we painted with a brush and roller instead of being spray painted. I confronted the painter and he blamed me for not specifying spray painting. A true company does not blame a customer and owns the mistake. Additionally, a true professional paints furniture with a spray gun and not with brush and roller. Now the vanity and mirror have a textured finish instead or a smooth finish. The painter told me that the finish would get smooth after it completely dries. Which was not true and misleading. The painter offered a discount on the price, which we accepted because he mentioned that the paint would be a smooth finish. We should have not paid for a bad job to begin with. I contacted Bush Bros Painting for a complete refund because the paint never smoothed out and it is a really bad job. The company said that I accept the discount and the painter worked on the paint job for two hours. The vanity and mirror now have a textured finish instead of a smooth finish. Paint Bros Painting ruined my vanity and mirror. I do not and will not recommend this company.
