They seemed to be go getters and they were very responsive. I actually went with them over other higher priced companies, simply because I was impressed with how they presented themselves. Unfortunately though, even though the guys were well qualified painters, our experience turned sour as time went on. After finishing the interior on job site # 1 in a reasonable amount of time, they skipped the patio roof there and started on the exterior at job site # 2. The exterior at job 2 took much longer than expected. To be fair, weather and their company's Covid complications did play a part in the delays. But on the other hand there were also days where there was a 'chance of rain' that turned out to be nothing and no work was done. There were also a few no show days, where no work was done for no particular reason. These lost days totally sucked. As the job site sat inactive, our house was all wrapped up in opaque plastic to protect the windows. We literally couldn't see anything outside. As the days dragged on and on with no progress, this became pretty irritating. Anyway, they finally got some traction and the exterior at job 2 was eventually finished. At that time, the plan was for them to head back over to job 1 and finish the patio roof. I checked in multiple times over the next few days to see what was going on, but they never started. In fact, they missed multiple promised dates for completion and all I got was excuses. After a while I just gave up. Florida Painting and Design abandoned us and the work we agreed on and they didn't appear to care. For a job that cost over $8000 total, to say that I am disappointed in how this came to a close is an understatement. Overall 3 stars. They undoubtedly do quality painting, however I actually wouldn't recommend them because of the unfinished job, missed deadlines, and lack of communication towards the end of our project.

The original guy that Juan sent out did a terrible job and didn't cover anything and the entire room and outside was packed with sand-dust! As soon as Juan found out he went himself and sent another of his guys to do damage control and do things right. He even went as far as to applying primer to the drywall they just stood up while honoring his original price. We all have bad days and situations that get out of control. Instead, I prefer to summarize it with a few words I am borrowing from Tony. Referring to painiting residences, he said: "la pintura lo es todo". He meant, paint is the essence of a home. Before they came for the job our townhouse was white. After they left, it was still white. But was it? This was not the same townhouse than before by any means. Somehow, they both managed to instill life, happiness and beauty to all walls, ceilings and baseboards. Only a labor of love can do this. I hired them to paint several rooms and install a wallpaper accent wall. The wallpaper installation was done poorly--the pattern didn't come close to lining up, making the result look unprofessional. They acknowledged the issue and agreed to repurchase the wallpaper and redo the work, but then failed to follow through properly. They didn't purchase enough materials and left the job unfinished. Communication was just as frustrating. Partway through the project, Diego stopped responding entirely. I spent months calling and texting to try to resolve the situation and align on next steps. Eventually, someone claiming to be his assistant contacted me via WhatsApp to say he would not be calling me back. Overall, the lack of workmanship, accountability, and communication made this an extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend using this contractor.

We had Florida Home Painters Inc. beautify our home in 2022. First they subcontracted a stucco…read moreteam to completely refinish the exterior walls. We were fortunate in that they found a commercial team who were in between jobs (they normally just do business facilities) to do the work. The team worked quickly and efficiently and were done within two days. Where we had issues, they were responsive and came back and finished everything off properly. Joe Dismuke was on premises to supervise the work. We were highly satisfied with the quality of the work--very clean and smooth surfaces coving all the cracks that had developed between the cement blocks over the decades. Also the cleanup was good, which you don't normally get with South Florida contractors. Then the painting team came in and painted the entire exterior. They did a good job. We would have preferred a little more taping of the open electrical connections and more use of tarps around the pool pump/heater, air conditioner and shrubbery around the house. (Lesson learned, micro manage them a bit more.) But Joe gave direction to them about the shrubbery in advance and they took reasonable care and not too bad on the cleanup. The team had an English speaking foreman but the crew only spoke Spanish. Again, Joe was on premises checking in from time to time to make sure everything was going well. We weren't happy with a color they chose for a cement patio, and they came back and repainted. There were a few other touch up items and they came back and fixed every issue. The exterior paint was a high quality Sherwin Williams latex, which they sprayed on. Regarding cost, we felt the job was competitively priced compared to other quotes and had good oversight for quality control. This is really hard to find in South Florida. Of course you can always find something cheaper but you get what you pay for. With this company it's a fair price for a job well done. Bottom line, we will absolutely use them again.

This company began by painting the side of our house when they were supposed to be painting the…read morewalls inside of our screened patio. we never showed them the side of our house -- never discussed it yet they blamed this mistake on us. They then painted over the holes where the screws to a hurricane shutters go. Next they painted the ceiling of our patio green instead of white and got paint on the pool patio screens. This company promised to paint our driveway and garage floor, even after being asked about proper preparation, they assured us they knew what they were doing and we now cannot use our driveway or a garage floor without pulling the paint up with our tires. I do not recommend them!
