I called for the first time Oxi Fresh because I was tired of the other company (Stanley Steamer). I was impressed, I schedule appointment by phone, so easy. They asked me for the best time and date and surprisingly they arrived 5 minutes before. Always had to wait for the other company from 2 to 3 hours because they just provide with a frame time. The cleaning was impecable, like new. Fresh!!! After 1.5 hours my carpets were dry and beautiful. The worker was clean, nice, professional and knowledgeable. I will never go back to the other company. And A LOT CHEAPER! !!!!!

TOXIC This was advertised as non toxic. I am somewhat…read moresensitive and after the last carpet cleaning I had done, many years ago, I would get rashes if I lay on the carpet and it would irritate my bare feet. Over the years it faded. (I am not extremely chemically sensitive like people who restrict where they go on account of it.) This cleaning has been much worse. I have had to leave my windows open since. I wake up with sore throats and lung irritation. It has been a week now and I rented a carpet cleaner to use it with plain water to get up the toxic cleaning material, but I am not confident that it will work. Their approach is to first spray with an "enzymes" and let it sit for 15 or more minutes. The "enzymes" did not bother me. Then they spray water with an "encapsulating" chemical. This irritated me the moment they started spraying it. They do not use very much water. I think it was about 1 gallon for about 600 sq ft. Then they go over it with a brush machine which kicks up fibers and junk scrubbed out. Finally they vacuum, but not with a device that removes water, there is no real rinsing. Anyway, if you are chemically sensitive, or concerned about chemical sensitivities, beware of this company and process. Find some process you are confident in, or rent a carpet cleaner and use water and vinegar and/or baking soda. I have done that in another house I moved into and it worked fine.
