The place is clean, the staff friendly, and the haircuts are good. I try to stop in whenever I need a haircut. However, one small word of warning: the place is cash only. They have an ATM on site, but it's one of the more expensive ATMs I've ever used -- the fee is $3.75 (and my bank then charges another $2.50 on top), so I have to add an extra $6.25 to my haircut price. :( They don't have any signage up saying, "Welcome to 1964, we're cash only," and finding out -after- you've gotten a haircut leaves you only the option of using their expensive machine. Also, NGL.... it is 2025. I've seen buskers with signs that accept card. Nobody carries cash anymore, and there's no legit reason to not accept cards. Pass that extra 3% or whatever on to me, it'd still be cheaper than the ATM fee.

I would suggest going elsewhere for a shave, but if you're in need of a quick and good haircut, check this place out!

What I loved the most was the fact that the barber not only "cut" your hair but also knew his products. Having a short natural cut, it's hard to find a barber that didn't cut a young ladies hair without them having you look like a man. Tiz softened my look and provided guidance as to which products worked best for my hair. I also enjoyed the fact that while I was there he and the other barbers respected that a woman was in the "shop". There was no loud hip hop song playing with cursing in the background; there were no "in & outs" of the establishment. Just a nice, clean and respectful place for all ages and I thank you for that experience. Keep it up Studio 54 Grooming Room! Thanks, D

He was also able to recommend a high quality pomade product to assist me in taking my hair care needs to the next level. From the exceptional customer service, feel-good music, clean atmosphere and prime location, I highly recommend Studio54 for all of your hairdressing and grooming needs, and guarantee that you'll be walking out feeling like a boss and a superstar, hands down!

Based on reviews and photos I saw on instagram, I decided that the barber Ozzy was the right fit. I was not disappointed. Upon entering, the shop was clean and very well decorated. It had a great color scheme and the music they played was great. The other barbers were in the zone taking care of their customers. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment but exactly at 6 my son was already on the chair. I showed Ozzy the way I wanted my sons hair to be done and he went to work. Ozzy took his time to perfect the look. As time went on, the smile on my son's face radiated. I could see him looking at himself through all the mirrors and his confidence skyrocketed. My son gave me a thumbs up multiple times throughout his time on the chair. Ozzy let my son pick out a bag of chips at the end which I thought was super nice! I could see that my son was comfortable. I could not have asked for a better experience and haircut. My son was so happy with how it turned out. I truly recommend Hummer Barbershop. I highly recommend Ozzy!
