This was by far the worst haircut I ever had. I went in for a simple trim and ended up being butchered. He didn't even use a comb and scissors. He used one of those electric devices and just started shaving things off. It is now two months later and my hair is still trying to recover. It is still going to take more time for some of it to grow back so that it can be property cut and start to regain its original shape. After I got it cut at this place, I went that weekend to a large family gathering. As soon as I walked in, everyone looked at me and said, "What the hell happened to your hair"?? read more

I have been to other barbers and stylists but you cannot beat Dimitris speed and attention to detail. I always leave the shop with a a great cut. One time I came here as Jimmy (owner of the shop) was walking to his car and he reopened just to give me a cut before I went out of town. I have been going to Dimitrios since at least 10th grade in school. Used to pass his shop every day on the way to school. Now that I'm almost 30 and live in a city where haircuts are pretty much a minimum of $15-$20 it's nice to go to a place where I know my barber and he knows my dad and brother. And a simple haircut is $13 (when I started going 12 years ago it was $8!). It a simple no-frills place, except for a diverse selection of magazines; no smut. Dimitrios is a solid dude and I'd recommend him to anyone. And he's fast. You can be in and out in under 20 minutes or less. read more

Quiet, clean, and comfortable with good (and free) parking outside. I love their hours and their prices are the best in town ($13), although I wish they would offer a military discount. Dimitrios is an excellent and very fast Barber. In that same sense and because he is so fast, he has a tendency to miss a few spots around the ears and the back of the neck. There's another guy in there (can't remember his name) whose chair is in the middle; he does a good job, but has a habit of not shaving the back of your neck properly or cleaning off the hair from your face, ears, etc. The woman on the far left is excellent and she takes her time. All-in-all, a bit lacking on the conversation yet inexpensive, efficient, and quick, I would continue to go. If you're looking for a little pampering, then you may want to go elsewhere as this Barber is no-nonsense. Great hours, too! read more

Walked in on a whim around 10:30 AM; I've been unable to find time for a cut and it was way overdue, like a couple months overdue. Dimitrios fixed me up. I asked for short, he gave me short. It was mostly a clipper cut. He started by shearing me pretty close with scissors - I was really a mess - and then cleaned me up with a series of clippers followed by a razor shave on my neck. He left my beard alone. Most of this was done dry, which was strange to me. Towards the end he spritzed me with a little water but to start he just dove right in cutting my dry hair. I doubt this took 10 minutes. He's fast and practiced and I look pretty much like I do after visiting my usual salon-type place. I could do this and still get lunch if its always this fast, which I gather from other reviews that it is. I do like a little more ceremony but this is great for what it is, which is quick, acceptably well done (can't really screw up "short"), and inexpensive. I may not go back, because like I say, I like a little more ceremony. read more

OMG this was the quickest haircut i have ever gotten. Sat down, 3 sentences were spoken. I asked for a freshening of my hair that had been cut beautifully 2 weeks earlier and a trim of the epic man mane... just a little to get the stragglers down. This gentleman took his scissors and in one swoop per side transformed me into simba where I was mufassa. Moths of carefully styled, groomed, manicured, oiled and waxed growth were removed in seconds. Such sharp and drastic edges were created it will take weeks-months to correct. Most quality barbershops start low, go slow, see how you like it, talk out what you want, shoot the shit and you are out of there in 45 mins- an hour feeling fine and pretty with some great smelling product in your hair. This felt like my first basic training army haircut.... 2 seconds and I was out with a gruff nod. The fact that were was absolutely NO line should have been a clue. This place might be great for the soccer dad just graduating from the super cuts, but it is in no way, shape or form a GOOD, friendly barber shop. Will not visit this Dimitros again, nor do i recommend him to any discerning gentleman. read more

No talk, just the cut. Quick and efficient! Plus they do beard trims (hard to find around here these days for some reason). Even when this place is packed full (like on the weekends) I'm usually in and out in under 30 minutes. I prefer the Asian man over the older white gentleman. One of my neighborhood barber shops; the closest one to me, so the one I go to. There's the older white gentleman (who must be the Dimitrios from the other reviews), an Asian gentleman, and an Asian lady. I prefer the Asian lady, then the Asian gent, and then the white gent (although he is definitely the fastest, the results I get aren't as good). But they're all pretty decent, and the price is right. The atmosphere isn't fancy, but they have lots of magazines and newspapers to read while you're waiting for a chair to open up. They often have an old TV on, or classical music playing, which is fine. I don't pay barbers to chat me up, so their businesslike attitude is perfect for me. read more

He was busy yesterday and I was in a rush so I went to Greg. And let me tell you, Greg took too damn long to mess my hair up this bad, he took 40 minutes and my hair is very uneven so I now get to go to another place to get it re done.
