He did and would not charge. sometime later I was undergoing major chemo for cancer. My hair was falling out in chunks. I asked Michell, one of the barbers, if she would remove all of my hair. She did a great job and then did not want to charge me. I told her I had cancer but was not broke. I insisted on paying and she has cut my hair for the last 12 years. If you want a good haircut, a fair price, and terrific people, this is your barbershop. They are busy but will somehow make room if at all possible.

I showed him pics and we went back and forth with some questions, suggestions, clarifications, etc. it was clear that he wanted to make sure I was happy and he wanted it to be perfect. The conversation was very pleasant and he was laser focused on every detail. His fade work is amazing and yes he uses a straight blade for detailing but only after asking my permission. Most barbers in this area do not use straight blades. David has gained my future business not only for the greatest haircut but also for the overall experience. It was also clear that everyone that stopped by while I was there was a very happy customer. I see now what everyone is talking about. I went here for a beard trim a few weeks ago on a Sunday. I didn't have an appointment, but there…read morewas no wait. I was assigned to Jesus's chair and he proceeded to do a great job. I'm not very good at communicating what I'm looking for, but he both understood and did some additional things that were a big improvement. He asked if I wanted my beard lined up in a way that was easier for me to manage between trims and used a paper template to ensure he got both sides evenly. He wasn't super talkative, and I'm not either, so that was a good match! Or maybe he's chatty with clients who are chatty and just follows their lead, but either way, it was comfortable for me. The lighting is bright enough that I kept my eyes closed for a portion of the experience, and the music was a little loud for me, but it was a solid playlist. The chair was comfortable and things were impressively clean. I was there kind of early on that Sunday and so I didn't see a ton of other customers, but the few I saw seemed happy with their experience. It is good to find a shop that does a good job with beards that isn't also trying to be a whisky bar, a gentlemen's lounge, a sports bar, or a spa. Should have taken a few before and after photos to share--maybe next time! I waited a few weeks to write this to see how my beard would grow in and now, about 15 days later, it looks great and not in need of immediate maintenance. I'll definitely be back
