The Blackberry Phone is hardly shy, but if it was, then this stadium would be named after it. Maybe the Boisonberry is the Shyberry, because if you were a berry, and you had boys on you, would you want everyone to know?
First-Hand Experience: More info about my personal experience at this stadium - I was lucky enough to visit this stadium shortly after it opened, in 2000. Then I was here again in 2011, and I have to say they let it go a little bit in just 11 years. It needs a bit of a clean up and some more fans to fill it on match days. One of these days I'll experience a full live game here, but it's definitely not a great stadium and has an artificial pitch. However the Airdrie fans make quite a ruckus.
So when I was doing my first tour of Scotland in 2011, I also hit up every single stadium in the country. My obsession with footy (soccer to Americans) is the reason. Every stadium review - like all my reviews - are based on first-hand personal experience, usually from multiple visits. As recently as Fall 2014, when I was "stuck" in UK for 3 months, I went to most of them yet again while travelling. I have pictures of me at many of them, which I will post later. Also, when back in Scotland I plan to take more pix, and add more stadia! So watch this space!

The stadium has hosted Airdrie teams since 1998, and is known as New Broomfield to some. It has an artificial pitch.
Queens Park played here for awhile. It's new and modern and fancy and a lot of people say it has no atmosphere.
It's a lot bigger than a lot of Scottish stadiums. It hosted Motherwell's European adventures recently. read more
