His two lead teachers are former elementary teachers and the environment is inviting AND ridiculously clean. Everyone I have come into contact with at St. Peters has been both competent and kind. I also really appreciate their high-tech security/check-in system. I would not hesitate to recommend St. Peters for anyone looking for child care.

My child recently started in one of the infant rooms. We signed up when I was in the first…read moretrimester and the wait was 11 months but it was well worth the wait!! If you are pregnant, get on the waiting list asap. When we toured St.Peter's we knew right away this was where we wanted our son. The facilities are beyond anything you will find for child care. It is clean. They have a HUGE gymnasium where the kids can have recess in the winter or when it's rainy. There are balls, toys, trykes for them to ride, etc. This is something we didn't find ANYWHERE else. And in Minnesota, a space for kids to run around indoors is so essential. They also have a muscle room for the kids who are just learning to move around. There are safe objects for them to climb on. Often times at pickup I will see kids riding around in the buggies down the halls just for a change of scenery while they wait for their parents. I think in the summer they walk back and forth outside on the sidewalk out front. The infant room has volunteer grandmothers that come and rock babies, our son gets a ton more attention than he did at the daycare we used while waiting for his spot at St.Peters. The grandmas enjoy holding him when he naps at times, even though it's not necessary, they just like to. I drop in sometimes and visit my son. Most of the times I've come he's being held or he's playing and happy. (they do not ususally know I'm coming) The atmosphere is inviting and the staff and volunteers display so much love for the kids it makes my heart happy to witness. In the short time he's been there they have done multiple art projects. The kids go to chapel on a regular basis as well. Tonight is a christmas concert that the children are putting on for the parents. They have parent aware nights where you can meet other parents and everyone does some type of volunteer activity together. The last one was making meals for people less fortunate. When we started we received a welcome bag with lots of fun stuff including a hand made knitted blanket. I mean I could go on and on all day. This place has exceeded our wildest expectations and knowing what childcare can be like elsewhere I sometimes have to pinch myself that this is real life. Since starting, my baby boy has not giggled and smiled so much in his entire life. I can tell he is truely happy here.

When my grandson started attending this center in May, things were very good. But since May, they…read morehave lost staff for a myriad of reasons; the remaining staff in my opinion is not equipped to deal with children that are high needs/struggling with "terrible twos" behaviors; I base this on the commentary received from managing staff. My grandson's class currently has rotating staff and it causes a lack of stability, something preschoolers need. The complaints about my grandson's "sudden change of behavior" started around the time staffing destabilized. He is by no means innocent, but I would expect the staff there, including management, to have some ability to deal with children that are high need and if not, be transparent and inform the family that they are simply not equipped to deal with a child whose behavior has suddenly has become problematic. I would have more respect for an entity that did that, versus asking twice in one week to pick the child up early. There is no point in continuing services if that is the case, and the decision was made to withdraw him now versus waiting until a new provider could be found. (I would like to add that my grandson only attended two full days and two partial days that equaled a third day in the week; we were asked to pick up early one day, kept him home the following day, partly to give the staff a breather, and was told what became his last day (today) that he may need to be picked up early again, if possible). Granted the center was willing to have him remain until we could find another provider, but why? Provide the staff with more training so they are able to better handle difficult children. But in my humble opinion, it is time to change site management.

We had our infant in Kinderberry from March 2021 to July 2021, unfortunately we moved out of town…read moreso we had to switch daycares otherwise we would have never left. This place is the best, the staff are all very friendly and caring and the teachers care a lot about the kids and make sure they have a great time every day. They have an app you download and they fill it with pictures of the kids doing activities and eating/sleeping updates. They have the kids do art and send it home for the parents sometimes. They do outdoor time when weather permits, swim day, etc. Kinderberry has an advantage over other daycares because they have their own formula, food, diapers, wipes, etc so you don't need to drop that off each day for them, it's included in your tuition. It is pretty spendy, but you definitely get what you pay for so it's worth it. Highly recommend!

We have two children, ages 3 and almost 5, at Kinderberry Hill - Plymouth. The center is bright,…read moreclean, full of natural light, and newly remodeled. There are tons of amazing toys and materials to foster children's curiosity and development. Kinderberry's biggest strength, though, lies in its staff and teachers. Jodi, the center director, works well parents and teachers to make sure every child receives "whole child care." We're always greeted with smiles when we walk in the door. Our children have been nurtured with smiles, praise, and, when necessary, kind but firm corrective guidance. The teachers are patient, kind, positive people who truly love children. Kinderberry also has a wonderful nurse on site who has helped to keep our kids feeling well and taught them about some basic anatomy and health topics. Each day at Kinderberry is filled with fun for our children. They do group activities to learn to work together with their classmates and they have individual play time. Their rooms are filled with wonderful materials - toys, a sensory table that the teachers regularly change, imaginative play centers, a computer, reading nooks, etc. The teachers have led both of our children through age appropriate lessons on letters (recognizing and writing them, word families, etc.), reading and writing, numbers and basic math concepts (measurement, correspondence, etc.). Lessons for a week revolve around a theme, which keeps the kids engaged and excited to learn. Our kids usually come home with art projects they have made with their class or on their own at one of the centers. Kinderberry also offers some wonderful extras we haven't found elsewhere - weekly Fit for Kids (physical fitness program), Spanish, and Music plus a wonderful science curriculum once a month. In the summers they run outdoor classrooms ~once / week. The pre-K room goes on field trips about once per month to extend their learning outside of the center. My mom, a former elementary school principal, has been very impressed by this curriculum. Perhaps more importantly, our children have really grown socially at Kinderberry. The teachers have encouraged them both to make new friends and helped to set up situations to foster their relationships with their peers. We're hearing more and more about their friends at home and having more and more playdates which is really exciting as a parent. We highly recommend Kinderberry Hill - Plymouth to all families.
