I have a Firestone right across the street that is always very reliable and trustworthy. The boss there took one look at my problem and told me to come right here and have the real experts repair it. Definitely saved me close to $200 or maybe more. Most important and noteworthy these boys just jumped at the chance 2X (because I had neglected to bring my wheel lock key that Honda City his in my ownership folder ... yeah, that's where it belongs). They had the car jacked up minutes after I pulled in both times and fixed the hole in a few more minutes. This place is great. Reminds me of a family friend from childhood, Russ, over at Circle Tire in Jamaica, who always took care of my family's needs back in the day. I have a new place to save me and my car.

YOUR FIRESTONE WARRANTIES DONT WORK HERE…read more DO NOT GOT HERE. Definitely the worst experience I've ever had at any auto-related business. Here's my story. I can PROMISE you those two reviews before me were either PAID for or from family friends or long time customers who receive preferential treatment or just plain bogus. My left rear went flat on a Thursday. That Friday, I went to work with the intent of getting the tire replaced after I was off for the week. I had forgotten my wallet at home, and during my lunch hour, drove home to retrieve it. On the way, my right rear tire went flat with my spare already in use on the other side of my car. Long story short, I signed up for AAA, and got towed to this dingy, dirty, literal hole in the wall. They were the closest, "cheapest", place to get towed to. (I purposely chose Firestone because I have warranties on my tires through them.) When I got there w/ the tow truck driver, an employee hops in my car and drives it through the smallest, most unimpressive entryway into a shop I've ever seen. The entrance was extremely difficult to find and on the side of the pathetic, dilapidated building. They closed the door before I could enter so I had to walk around the building to get inside. (Mind you, I had spent several hours the past 2 days in below-0 wind chills and was quite annoyed at my extra minute or 2 in the cold.) I got inside and the guy who supposedly spoke on the phone with me called me over and said he would "take care of me". He said they were looking at the car briefly while I made up my mind on how I might address the issue. After a few minutes of waiting, he tells me that not only do I have to get the 2 rear tires replaced, but a 3rd tire had a small piece breaking off the sidewall "bad enough to need to replace the tire" and that he "needs to sell me 4 tires" if my 2010 Subaru is AWD: All-Wheel-Drive. (He obviously was clueless that ALL new Subaru models are AWD, except the BRZ which is RWD). Then, moments after, he's feeding me some BS by telling me I HAVE to replace all 4 tires because the tread difference will ruin my drivetrain. AGAIN, my remaining 2 good tires, which have been on my vehicle for exactly TWO MONTHS to the date and have almost ZERO tread loss now need to be replaced?? And because supposedly that mere fraction of a difference will destroy my drivetrain?? This is ALSO not true. If you call Subaru, they will tell you they uphold their drivetrain warranty as long as the tread difference isn't more than 3/32nds of an inch. Maybe this fool thought I would give-in to his manipulative sales BS because I was dressed in my work clothes and was a few decades younger? Maybe he's just ignorant to the facts? Who freakin knows... So get this, THEN the owner tries to tell me I need to make up my mind already (we've spent 2-4 minutes discussing the issue and I've spent less than a couple min trying to make up my mind. So naturally bothered by his lack of knowledge, service, and business-wherewithal, I called AAA to see how much it would be to tow me to the Firestone in Westbury that sold me my tires (btw, great service, great prices!!) After about a minute and with some rude gusto, he started interrupting my call w/AAA to tell me that "You need to make up your mind already and buy some tires or get your car off MY lift and get it off MY property" and followed that with: "Im a benevolent guy, but I'm not THAT benevolent. No matter what, I'm going to charge you for time YOUR car has been on MY lift!" (I've never had this happen. Didn't ask him to put my car on the lift. Didn't know it was on the lift. Didn't get prior disclosure there would be cost for this.) Taken aback by this clueless idiot blessing me with his supposed benevolence, I payed MORE money for a SECOND tow and took my business to the certified Firestone in Westbury just to prove my point, while his classless didn't-fall-from-the-tree employee laughed at me from inside the closing shop doors as my car was put on the 2nd tow truck. To the owner: I hope this review is part of your business' undoing. I'm a benevolent guy. But I'm not THAT benevolent.

If I could give them negative stars I would. These guys shouldn't be offering powdercoating…read moreservices - they seem valid at providing quick tire fixes or replacement options. They are outsourcing the work and not even remotely worrying about the quality of the finished product. Their solution to a bad finish is "we can take em back and redo them". Nah fam - my time is way too valuable to be messing with you guys and this redo stuff. This review is based on few things: + they are going to tell you they can turn them around in 1 day... it's a scam to make you think they are going to be of high quality. + the first time they turned them around I noticed lots of running paint that was dried up. + they claim that nobody powdercoats the outer barrel of the wheel yet they advertise wheels that are fully powder coated inside and out. They literally gave me back two tone gradient wheels and didn't bat an eyelash -- the audacity + on the redo I gave them ample time to make sure they provided me with a high quality job only to receive a job worst than the first job. + $150.00 to repair rashed/bent wheel + powdercoat seemed pricey.... For the quality of work, I'd pay $50/wheel -- I'm being generous with that number. These wheels make me want to vomit + take a look at the images I posted so you can get a good idea of the amount of blemishes on these newly refinished (x2) wheels. $653.02 after tax for this job. I'd rather pay a fifth grader this money to give me a splatter job with house paint lol. I'm laughing straight to the bank with this one... can anyone say CHARGEBACKKK?!?! THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT OFFER PROFESSIONAL POWDERCOATING SERVICES. DON'T LISTEN TO THEM -- I learned the hard way ‍ THE END.

When you first meet Kurt, you will notice his kind demeanor and his willingness to help you out. I…read morethought of Kurt as a great mechanic with integrity. We purchased a 2015 Audi Q5 with only 57,000 miles from Kurt. He most recently replaced the Driveshaft and assured us that the vehicle was mechanically sound. On the first drive, the car left us stranded on the side of the road, indicating a transmission malfunction fault. I called Kurt, but he was not interested in helping, he also mentioned that he does not warranty his work. So I took the vehicle to a reputable shop that lifted the vehicle to check it out. To my surprise, the Driveshaft was damaged due to improper installation, and, it was found to be a low quality Chinese driveshaft that cost 1/10th the price of the original. Just about any mechanic that you will meet will warranty their work, and own their mistakes (which is ok, we are only human) but not Kurt. Instead, I am left with a hefty bill and a vehicle that my mother is afraid to even drive now. This review is so that you, as a potential customer, are aware of the person that you are looking forward to doing business with. I would highly recommend using mechanics that will warranty their work, because mistakes do happen.
