Recovery from TKR is difficult, but going to Summit PT twice a week has given me both confidence and comfort that I'm progressing and eventually will be back to myself - an active 68 year old. I've been a health professional for 40 years and have had physical therapy for various orthopedic and sports conditions, and by far Summit PT is the best. Also, If you ask questions they are not knowledgable and lack educationing the patient on days you are not in therapy. UJN and Isha do not wear uniforms and do much television watching and speaking of ('The view" and Sports). I had be progressing at such a fast pace until I went out patient their and could not figure out why I slowed down. Then I was thinking, I am doing the same thing for a long time and no new exercises introduced at physical therapy and all I was told to Mall walk on off days. Not adding of More home exercises. I had to ask them. If multiple patents are their you do not know if they are speaking to you or another patient. They charge for everything even ice. I recently went to Twin Boro one session what a difference. They do not charge for ice, I had a bump ,which was a release of faschia dissipated, the therapist educated me that in the operating room the physician flexes your knee, so he knows approximately how much flexion will return. I had groin and anterior thigh pain while going to Sports Care which I had address with them. At Twin Boro they had me work on this and again it dissipated that day. I have learned so much about this experience. I hope I helped some one else.

This is a well run small practice with lots of personal attention. They have great Covid practices…read morewith Hand washing and masks required before you get started. I've observed the DPT and assistants working with other patients and they are attentive and use gentle coaching to keep the clients on track. No TVs, just older music. I would recommend this practice to everyone, especially someone who tried a "chain" and found they weren't getting much out of it. This place will make you stronger.
