The shoulder injury was years ago so I'll be speaking on my experience so far with the ACL recovery process. When you walk in, there's a small waiting area enclosed by a partition and a window where you pay and check in. When you head back, you're greeted by Jeff, who is the physical therapist. Jeff, as well as everyone else there is very friendly and accommodating. He does a great job of showing you what to do, encourages questions, and does his best to ensure your comfort. Overall, no issues whatsoever. Just a nice guy who's good at his job. As for cleanliness and quality of equipment, I found nothing but good things. Jeff cleans the tables himself after each patient leaves and puts a fresh paper pillowcase on pillows for each patient. The rest of the facility is very clean. No dust or cobwebs, nothing broken or worn. The machines are all in good condition as well. As for who goes to see Jeff, while I've been there, it's been mostly older patients (40+), but I go during the day and school isn't out yet for high schools in the area. I'm an athlete in college and I have no issues here. Jeff was a wrestler when he was younger and knows that athletes want to get back to their sport as quickly as possible. Making appointments is easy and if you need to reschedule they are very accommodating.

He has guided me through rehabilitation before and after two knee and one shoulder replacement. He listens and responds with helpful treatment and makes suggestions to help me get back to my normal functioning level. He has been wonderful with my husband, Kenneth who has Parkinson's and who he has also seen many times. Kris is sensitive and considerate and is always including therapy that is helpful to his changing needs. He has been a godsend and we are both so grateful. The staff and atmosphere in the Westfield office is wonderful. First we are always greeted with a smile. .Everyone at the front desk and in the therapy sessions seems eager and willing to pitch in. I chose Active Care as I had previously used them many years ago for a back issue. My physical therapist was Payam Zarrinpour. Well he worked wonders ! I had two separate rounds of therapy and exercise and it cured my frozen shoulder. Today I was diagnosed with torn MCL in my left knee again my doctor prescribed PT. I went right back to active care to seek Payam's help! I'm sure in a month I'll be back to my old self skiing away!
