I traveled 2.5 hours to see Dr Dimitry after seeing all of the positive reviews. I had a lumbar…read moredisc bulge in l5-s1. I came to him with 3/10 pain in my back and 0/10 sciatica. After working with him for 3 weeks - my pain increased from 3/10 to a 7/10. And I now have sciatica that is constantly at a 5/10 which I never had before. His "genius" ways are to aggressively try to fix your anterior pelvic tilt even if your back is so weak that flexion is difficult. Week one was ok - week two he progressed me to standing positions on a wall - with intra abdominal pressure and a posterior pelvic tilt. Adding a posterior pelvic tilt applied direct load onto my disc bulge. Dr. Dimitry clearly had no regards to my situation when putting my into this position as it has set back my rehabilitation months and increased every single level of pain. Discussing this event with him - he said disc bulges go in and out oftenly during rehab. You should NOT be loading patients with a disc bulge before sensitivity and stability are placed. The story gets better - I stuck it out with him for another week - hoping the strength training he would add would be helpful, can you possibly believe he gave me a plank and a deadbug. This physical therapist is the most expensive person you will ever see that charges $450 dollars an hour and $575 dollars. His postural analysis will disregard any of your symptoms. He will not give any sort of care to you outside of getting paid for his hour of time. On the contrary - if you have non specific back pain - which means u have an MRI and it shows nothing - his methods could be helpful. With a patient with a known disc issue at l5-s1 - he made me significantly worse within 3 weeks and $1,250. The price is absurd and what you get is someone that will push there method no matter the cost or care to your body with zero regard to your symptoms or tolerance to load or sensitivity.

I read all the reviews about Dmitry and they were outstanding. I hesitated to make an appointment…read moredue to the fact that his fees are exorbitantly high. However, I was in a lot of pain and he sounded very knowledgeable. I had gone to traditional physical therapists in the past and they were not helpful. He does spend a lot of time with you. He was treating me for a pulled rhomboid muscle which has made it impossible for me to walk or go foodshopping without pain. His main focus is on breathing and alignment. Unfortunately, he does not deal with your actual problem. I had one session with him and he gave me some exercise to address my alignment. By the second session, he basically instructed me that when I walk, I should swing my arms (I was keeping my arms in my pockets) because I was going to have pain whether or not I walked with hands in or out of my pockets or just sat still all day. He gave me these bizarre exercises like hanging on to a pole and dangling my arm and attaining developmental skills in infancy based on some Czech research The pain got worse. I canceled my next appointment and went to a traditional physical therapist who examined me and found the source of my pain. She was hands on and massaged out the knots in my neck and back. She gave me traditional exercises which are helping me. I threw out $850.00 for two sessions with Dmitry. I called up and complained. He never called me back!

I thought my pain was the nasty business of aging and exercising, but it was a good thing I injured…read moremyself...it forced me to go to PPTT and not only did they help me with my injury, I learned there was something I could do about the aches and pains I was "living with". PREVIOUS EXPOSURE TO PHYSICAL THERAPY I've never been to a PT before, but I understand most of them work with multiple patients at once. This center spends the entire hour focused on treating my pain and at the end of the hour, I feel a drastic improvement. DRY NEEDLING I (anxiously) agreed to try this for my stubborn muscle pain and I can't believe what a difference it's making. Each week, there is marked improvement on the treated areas - only the really stubborn ones take more than one treatment to completely disappear (not kidding). I went from chronic pain to complete relief. MY DOCTORS Dr. Michelle Millner is the "miracle-worker" therapist I see regularly and she's changed how I listen to (and treat) my aches and pains. I've also seen Dr. Matthew Riordan who is an exceptional therapist.

Matt at Professional Physical Therapy is the best!…read more I have been to him twice now for two related but slightly different issues, and each time I am amazed! He clearly has an unparalleled understanding of human anatomy and the way micro-injuries can turn into bigger injuries when left untreated over time. He took his time assessing me and and always gave me full undivided attention at every session. I was so hesitant about going to someone out of network but it was more than worth it to get my body back to normal. He helped heal both a sacroiliac joint issue and a hip dysfunction issue. Also, when I canceled an appointment because I was feeling better he was thrilled for me because he said that was good news! I'm going to try their Pilates group classes to build core strength to prevent future injuries and I am really looking forward to it!
