Since I'm "older" (54), the area of where I tore my cuff, calcium deposits had formed (calcified tendinitis) & a pointy triangular spur was pushing down into my tendonmuscle. He said no problem, I can get a steroid inj in his office or they can use Lavage

I called their New Brunswick office and they said my appointment isn't with them and they finally sent me to the Livingston office. I called the Livingston office to let them know the situation and that I'll be late and they refused to see me. I said I'm already on my way, showed up and the only thing they said is "they didn't have an email on file". THEN WHY DONT YOU CALL?! They said I "should've" received a notification text but I received NOTHING. I am in excruciating pain and took my day off all for them to discard me like trash.

Dr. Rieber always tries to find alternative treatments to surgery. When surgery is needed, he is proud to provide state-of-the-art arthroscopy and robotic surgery. Dr. Rieber earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He went on to pursue further training through an orthopedic surgery residency at Albany Medical Center in Upstate New York. Dr. Rieber completed his sports medicine fellowship at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. In the early 2000s, Dr. Rieber realized there was a need for more surgical joint replacement treatments as he observed patients struggling to recover from broken hips. This insight led him to develop an institute that improves the overall experience of those who need a total joint replacement in the hospital. The changes recognized include pre-operative planning, better nurse-patient ratios, and a customized recovery experience. Another patient-focused solution Dr. Rieber volunteered to implement was pioneering the breakthrough anesthetic drug Exparel during knee surgeries. The pain medication numbs the area where it was administered for up to three days, providing more comfort to the patient post-surgery. Dr...

I was referred by my primary Doctor to see Dr. Vincent McInerary, an orthopedist surgeon, who is a…read moresports medicine doctor, for my hip injury. He works at a clinic with several other specialists. I decided to schedule an appointment in Morristown since it was my 1st visit, it was highly suggested that I visit the clinic that has technicians available to do X-rays and there's also a radiology center in case if we need to order a MRI. I like this location very much since every specialist is in reach and there's complimentary flavored coffee in the suite. However for Starbucks lover like myself, there's Starbucks in the 1st floor as soon as you enter the building. There's also plenty of parking and they also open on Saturdays. Getting back to Dr. McInerary, I wish I was referred to him earlier. He is nice, well mannered and seems very knowledgeable. He referred me to pt in Hackensack on rt 17 for aqua therapy. I'm am schedule to see him in 2 months in the Clifton office since it's much closer to home. He does work in the evenings in Clifton which is perfect for folks who work during the day. I'm also very impressed with the whole clinic. I was told they treated NFL Jets and NJ Devils team. The staffing in Morristown location is friendly and professional.

Having taken a half-day off…read morefrom work, when I arrived at the facility on 111 Madison Avenue, I was told by an employee (an African-American female whose name I did not get) that they would not be able to accept me as the appointment was made at a time when no doctor was available to give me the injection required for it. She scheduled me for the following Monday at 1:15pm and gave me an appointment card indicting the date and time of my appointment. I took another half day off the following Monday and arrived at 12:30. This time I was told that they had no record of my appointment. They in fact went as far as telling me that I had no-showed my previous appointment. It was only after I gave them the reason why we had to reschedule and showed them the appointment card that they admitted the female employee had seemingly not entered the information from my previous and current appointment in the computer. They asked me to wait so that they could fit me in as soon as possible. I indicated that I had to pick up my son from school at 4:15 and thus I couldn't stay if I was not admitted within a couple of hours but they assured me I would be done long before that. After waiting until 3:00 and still with no sign of me being called in I requested my prescription back. I gave a physical description of the woman who had scheduled me for that day and showed them the card, asking whose handwriting it was, but no one seemed able or willing to identify her. As a result I have now lost 2 half-days from work (not to mention I had to wait an extra 2+ hours before it being confirmed that I would not be seen that day) due to the incompetence of their schedulers when making appointments and I still haven't even had my MRI done. Perhaps they should raise the requirements for hiring schedulers beyond (barely) speaking English in order to ensure that appointments are honored. After about 2 weeks, all correspondence to them regarding this is still going unanswered with not so much even a call back for an apology or rationalization of their incompetent schedulers.

After seeing two doctors in New Jersey--including a top rated Urologist-- and after all kinds of medications, I was no closer to feeling better or figuring out what was wrong. I was miserable. For five months I felt as though I had an UTI. Desperate, I went to Dr. David Kaufman, a urologist in NYC who had written some articles on women's urinary issues and seemed like he might be able to help. After a few months of inconclusive testing with Dr. Kaufman, he thought it might be that my pelvic floor was not functioning properly and recommended I see Debra for physical therapy. Dr. Kaufman told me to give it about six sessions and see how I felt. I had no idea there was physical therapy for your bladder. I mean who knew? At that point I would have tried anything to feel better. I just prayed that Debra could help me. After about 8 1/2 months of my "non stop UTI" I finally went for my first session with Debra. Basically Debra massaged ligaments and muscles that were tight and not properly functioning. She worked on different areas during each session, depending on where I was feeling pain or pressure. She also gave me a series of exercises to do at home. Debra made me feel incredibly comfortable during our sessions and clearly was working on a course of treatment that was very specific to my condition. After six sessions and about two months I was feeling normal again. Dr. Kaufman was right and Debra was a physical therapist genius! Almost a year of non stop pain had finally ended. About 3 months ago ( and five years after I first saw Debra) I felt some pain developing again. I took an antibiotic run which didn't clear the situation. Knowing at this point that it was not a UTI but pelvic floor issues, I went back to see Debra again. After a few sessions I was once again back to normal and feeling great. All to say Debra is wonderful. Without her I would truly have no quality of life. I am so glad I found Debra and so grateful to her!!
