I was understanding that it took so long to get back to be as they came highly recommended so I had no qualms about that, but maybe that should have been a sign to do business elsewhere. In doing the job they removed piping that wasn't even broken in one of the backrooms that had not even been damaged this was done due to miscommunication and disposed of the cooper without getting any return on the copper-lucky me? They did me a favor by disposing it for free? No. The wooden flooring they installed makes terrible noises as it's walked on and looks like it was done by an amateur and doesn't feel safe although they assure me it is. The floor looks crooked and they used thinner plywood for underneath. Had it been discussed this was an issue or was going to cost more to make it look professional and not crooked I would have thrown down extra money in order to make the job look right. If these problems existed and were presented in a timely and a professional manner they could have been dealt with, instead of getting a irate custom and poor review. The excuse I got was that the house was old and the budget was set and that's why it looks the way it does. They were gracious enough to take a couple hundred dollars off the original price for the budget, but why? Because they felt bad. I will never do business with them again (and I was planning on it) and apparently they might have been ashamed of the work done but not so much that they would fix it. Make sure to resolve any questions or concerns BEFORE paying the bill. If your husband calls him to discuss the price afterward, make sure to be on the call to dispell some of the mis-truths. When I attempted to address some questions/concerns, he admitted that he should have talked to me before making the executive decision and presented a possible fix but then didn't call me back as he said he would. I can accept that some of the issues happened because I didn't ask enough questions. He initially agreed that he should have asked first but later went back and wasn't willing to accept his piece when he spoke with my husband. Just not a good experience at all!

Using the misfortune of the tragic collapse of the Baltimore bridge as a scare tactic, stating that material prices would skyrocket and he needed the deposit to secure the materials for the work. Once I paid the deposit, he stopped responding to my calls and changed his phone number several times and even blocked my number. Todd never did the work and has not refunded the $1,800 deposit. It's been a whole year and I cannot get a hold of anyone at A Property Solution of Maine. DO NOT trust anything they say, beware of this scammer.
