They are public adjusters that are insurance claims adjusters that advocate for the insured, rather than for the insurance company. They represented me in working with the insurance company to get the construction bids from contractors and to negotiate with the insurance company. I don't know how to do all that, nor do I have the time to figure it all out. It took just over a year to get a check from the insurance company because of various issues and delays on the part of the insurance company.
