Yes, they are a wholesale store but they don't have a great selection and they don't have very good quality produce. I understand that's a wholesale warehouse type of building but I still felt dirty when I left it. My advice: Skip Real Canadian Wholesale Club and head to Costco!

I found a True Religion T shirt for my toddler for $9. A 6 pack of toddler socks for $6. A 3 pack of baby socks for $1.50. My mom bought many cans of coconut milk for $1 each. I saw Starbucks coffee grounds and brand name cereals. They have some good stuff if you have the time and patience to look around. The items are new with tags. However, not all the items here are in perfect condition so you do need to make sure your item doesn't have a flaw you can't live with. You can find some pretty low priced items that would be fine condition for gifts. This is a new location that moved from another location nearby. The staff is friendly, and willing to help you find what you're looking for... sometimes you may have to stand in line at the counter while they finish up with another customer, but they'll help you find what you need. If you're looking for reasonably priced display items, then make sure you stop here and check out what they have before you spend too much somewhere else!

I was waiting in a very long line, as expected, and went to the self-checkout because I only had six items. While I was checking out, I asked a Filipina employee for assistance. I had almonds with six bottles in a box and other items, that hard to lift to scan. So Instead of helping me, she simply told me to scan the items normally. I understand that employees have many customers to assist, but I was disappointed that my request for a little help was dismissed. Employees are there not only to process purchases but also to assist customers when they need it. What may not be obvious is that I am a stroke survivor and currently in the process of recovery. I have been continuously recovering for 1 year and 7 months. Although I may look physically normal and healthy on the outside, I have limitations when it comes to lifting heavy items. That is the reason I asked for assistance. My experience today reminded me that we should not assume someone is physically capable simply because they look healthy. Not every disability or limitation is visible. I hope Costco can remind and encourage its employees to be more understanding and helpful toward customers who ask for assistance. Sometimes, a small act of kindness and understanding can make a very big difference to someone who is going through a difficult recovery.
