They had a whole section dedicated to theatre seating and had some really unique pieces (giant spinning couch/chairs). Overall, we didn't opt to buy our main pieces here and went with LA Z Boy instead but this place is still worth a luck if you're on the hunt for new furniture. The location is on St. Albert Trail next to a bunch of other furniture places and easy to get to from the Yellowhead or 137th avenue just off St A Trail. This isn't a discount store so expect prices to be higher than the Brick or Leon's for sure.

Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. If there is less than one…read morestar, I would give that. After a referral from a friend, I contacted AB Countertops to purchase a bathroom vanity countertop and a small piece for the top of a shower curb. (and mount a sink I provided under the counter). I was asked for the measurements (which I thought strange as there can be all kinds of things custom to each install - i.,e. wall corners not 90 degrees, etc.) While the timelines discussed seemed a bit slow, I realize that ours was just one countertop as opposed to a whole house job. After a call from the salesperson that the countertop was ready, I went to the shop facility to pick up. (no info as to who to see on site) after finally finding someone, they said it will be a few minutes. Then, I could see a worker gluing the sink to the counter (so it was hardly ready to pick up). When this was done, I took the unit home. The sink was poorly attached to the counter - I had to silicone some gaps and was worried that it may fall off when installed on the vanity. Visually, it is acceptable. The shower curb top: I made the measurements my self, and messed up and measured 2" to narrow. Fine, my fault. I tried to contact the salesperson I dealt with 12+ times via email, text and received only one response - that they were busy due to illness; nothing after that. If you don't want to or can't do the work, just tell me, but to not even reply is rude! I finally got a small piece from another granite company, and would recommend them. Stay away from AB Countertops is my advice.

I initially met with Jason…read moreFlorkowsky who came out to the condo to take measurements, and continued to work directly with him throughout the process. My must haves were semi gloss lacquer upper cabinets and continuous horizontal grain walnut base cabinets to go over my freshly laid polished porcelain Calacatta marble floor tiles. Florkowsky's was hired approximately Feb 30/15. They removed the old kitchen cabinets and built and installed brand new cabinets and I had a fully functional kitchen with exactly what I had asked for by May 6/15. Overall the timeframe to completion was a bit long however I can't fault Florkowsky's entirely for that. What is more important to me is the overall outcome of my kitchen and I must say I am in LUV! Here are a couple of examples of what this company will do to ensure the client is happy: 1) I could not decide on the finish/ how much gloss I wanted on the upper cabinetry. I finally decided on 25 %, the upper cabinets were all installed and when I saw them I didn't like the finish, it was too matte. The installers removed all the doors, took them back to the shop, resprayed them with 40% and reinstalled them. 2) ordered multiple sheets of walnut veneer until I found the "ones" 3) I picked out all the cabinet hardware, it was ordered and delivered and then I changed my mind. I found some other cabinet hardware online that I preferred and Jason got it for me! Would I recommend this company? Yes, in a heartbeat! Combine all of the above with quality materials and craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail, it's a win win and what you will get if you hire Florkowsky's. This is a company that truly cares about the customer. I thought I was picky but Florkowsky's installers exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. I love my kitchen so much, if I could... As a custom home builder, we understand that delays can happen. What is much harder to understand…read moreis the complete lack of communication that we have experienced with Forge 53. We placed a substantial deposit for custom office doors and a shower enclosure approximately 10 months ago. After repeated emails and phone calls from both myself and our project manager went unanswered for weeks, we were forced to advise Forge 53 that the delays were impacting our clients' possession date. On May 14, we finally received a response apologizing for the "radio silence," citing staffing changes and a backlog of custom projects. At that time, we were advised that fabrication would be completed by May 18/19, with installation anticipated as early as the week of May 25. Those dates have long since passed. Since then, multiple additional attempts to obtain an update have gone unanswered. We still do not have the products we ordered, a confirmed installation date, or any indication of when this matter will be resolved.

From providing us with guidance and suggestions in designing the piece while still listening to what we wanted to giving updates on the construction, the build was great. Mike invited me in to see the progress being made and really give me a feel for the attention being paid to our build.
